If you want reliability, promptness and professionalism, this is the company to hire if you want any home repairs doneWe needed to repair a hole in the sheathing in the roof as per house inspector direction and called about five roofing companies and contractorsNone of them wanted to come out, citing that it was not a big job and that they only accepted large contracts to repair or install the whole roofWe called Carolina Improvements and they immediately responded and the job was completed the next dayThe tech that came was the nicest guy you could imagine, very professional and very timely, getting to our house at the specified timeHe explained what he was going to do, showed me the materials that he was going to use, told me the time it will take and took before and after pictures of the whole processAfter he was finished, he showed me the removed item with the hole and explained the process to get the repair letter from the companyWE received the pictures and the completed receipt with all itemized items clearly explainedThey offer a warranty on all their jobs and will respond promptly to any inquiriesAnd what was really impressive is that they tech came from Greensboro, NC, about two hours away from our house and arrived on timeGreat company, very affordable and reliableWill definitely recommend them anytime! I was really please with just about every thing, with this companyThe guys were greatThey took time in explaining things to me, and they did an excellent jobI'd recommend them to everyone, now the only down side is this, they just ran a special offering gutters on the front of houses, I wish they would say, hey let's give her some free gutters, since she was such a good customer ??

Carolina Improvements installed a walk in bath tub for me yesterday and I was very pleased with their work The two men who did it were prompt, professional and quite helpful If you need any home improvement work I would highly recommend Carolina Improvements

Carolina Improvements installed our Hardie Siding, and rewraped all our windows, gave us new storm doors, and completely redid our covered porch with all new vinyl We had just had the porch vinyl installed by another company, and it was a horrible mess, but it looks amazing now! We have gotten so many compliments on our house, and we are very proud of our results!

We think Carolina Improvements is a great company The personal working for them are very professional and did a super job and I would hire this company again We are very pleased with the work

They came out and showed me the windows they had and I selected the double pane with the extra thick glass and the extra space between the panes I originally wasnt going to buy them today because I dont like financing things but they offer months same as cash financing (if you dont pay within the months though you have to pay back all the back interest so make sure you get them paid off) A week or so later they came out and measured my windows (unfortunately they are replacement windows so I couldnt get them to change the size of one of my windows but thats understandable since it would have been a much bigger job and cost way more that way) A month later they came back and worked straight through (in the july heat mind you) from 9am till 2pm to replace all windows in my house! They were fast, and professional and courteous They didnt even take a min break till all the windows were in and the flashing was about to be finished These guys were awesome and I would recommend them to anyone In fact my neighbor across the street came over and talked to them as they were finishing up and said that she had some other people put in her windows a few years ago and they were sticking and some couldnt even be openedSo I think she'll be the next person with a Carolina Improvements sign in her yard

I had an estimate done tonight for windows for my home and I am absolutely shocked with how quick the salesman (MrJosh M***) became rude and nasty with me I wouldn't recommend anyone let this guy in their home The business card Josh M [redacted] left with me says he's the Territory Manager of NC/SC/VA It was the typical high pressure sales pitch and telling me there was discount that I could only get if I signed the contract tonight I wanted to get a price and then think on it at least overnight and have some time to research the company a little I almost signed the contract but noticed the warranty said it only covered the labor and installation for days which concerned me because he told me it was a lifetime warranty Of course he continued to tell me it was in fact a lifetime warranty and all the different companies involved giving warranties He said if one warranty fell through you had others to depend on In other words, I would get the run around! I know to go by what the written contract says rather than what he tells me because if it isn't in writing it isn't any good If something happened they would say 'it's right there in the contract you signed.' I was still leaning towards having the windows done with this company figuring they all have fine print (this was before his outburst, he was polite in the beginning) but just didn't want to be pressured into it or rushed and I wanted to fully under how the warranty works and what to expect But there is something wrong if a company isn't willing to give you time to read the contract and warranty in detail before signing They don't actually give you the warranty in writing until AFTER the windows are in so be sure to ask for it upfront There's one company that has a warranty for the windows, another company that warranties the vinyl casements, and another company that covers the labor and installation, it was all a little confusing I told Josh M [redacted] that I just needed some time to think on it and read over the contract and all the warranties He then snatched the contract up off my kitchen table and put it in his briefcase I asked him if I could keep it so I could look over it, he said "No, we are done here I'm out!" He picked up his things and headed towards my door and said, "Don't call us, we will call you." All of this was done in front of my year old daughter He banged his demonstration window into my front glass door on his way out I do hope he didn't bang my car up walking down my driveway with that big window he brought with him like he did to my front door He had no respect for me or my property I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my life I guess he assumed I wasn't buying and it made him mad I've been in sales my whole life and I've never mistreated or been disrespectful to a customer just because they didn't buy from me If it wasn't for his hateful demeanor at the end I would be researching this company and reading over all the info to make a decision but after the outburst I just dealt with from him I will never consider doing business with this disgraceful man He really did almost have me sold, I just don't make big purchases or decisions on a whim It seemed like he knew if I researched his company I wouldn't do business with them If this company cares about their reputation this man will be fired as he has no business going in customers homes acting in such a manner He's going to mistreat the wrong person one of these days and find himself picking himself up off of someones kitchen floor I was never anything but nice and respectful to this man and he was very disrespectful and rude to me in my own home and it was uncalled for But little did he know, I am one of those people that will post reviews on every site I can find So, if you are considering spending your hard earned money with this company please do tell them you have to think about it first and see how you are treated when they think they aren't getting your money See if you are shown any human decency or if they are just being nice to get your money This man showed his lack of integrity so I am glad I didn't do business with them If you had a good product, at a good price, and good service there would be no need to be pushy He was so pushy that it was really a red flag He certainly doesn't care about his customers, he's just wants your money! I am still in shock over how fast he flipped out on me I've just never experienced anything like that before in my life

I chose this company for a roof replacement based on the Revdex.com positive reviewsI was NOT disappointedIt was a perfectly executed job from beginning to endIt started with being able to speak with a human on my first call to a timely finish between two rainy spellsThe work site was left cleanWe have been through two heavy downpours and a heavy snow with the new roof and there were no problemsI would not hesitate to use this company again for any home improvement workThey are truly "Professionals at Work", just like their cards say

Carolina Improvements 3410 Healy Drive Suite 103 Winston Salem, NC 27103 ###-###-#### I purchased replacement windows, rain gutters, and vinyl siding for my house through this company, just wanted to let people know how good they are! Everything was done quickly and without too much trouble to us or our two dogs. The workers were prompt and cleaned up everything after themselves. We were asked to inspect each step of the process. It didn't take them long at all to finish the job. We never had to call to let them know something was wrong, or the someone didn't come when scheduled. When the job was completed, we were asked to walk around the entire house and inspect, we were even instructed to open and close all of the windows to make sure they all worked properly. We noticed right away how much quieter it is in our house since we got the new windows. We have been very satisfied.

We hired Carolina Improvements to replace the roof & the windows in our homeWe opted to pay in cash and were required to get a dual-named certified checkThis is the first thing that made me uneasy as the bank warned me that if the check was lost (we were required to give it to the person who measured for the windows before any work was done) it was the same as losing the moneyI called the home office with my concerns and was treated like I was being silly--"we have never lost a check before." The roofer called me at work and said he would be there in minutes (no other warning was given) but the home office called minutes later to schedule a time for the following week and assured us that we would get a confirmation call prior to their arrivalThe roofers never called in advance, but did show up on the scheduled day When the roofers were installing the underlayment, it was not the same as what was shown to us during the sales agreementWhen we tried to talk to different people at the home office about this, they never gave us a straight answerThe roofers finished with flashlights late at night and before they were done we were asked to sign off on the job When we refused, we were asked to inspect the roof with a flashlight because the subcontractor was from out of town and didn't want to drive back to get the approval paper The next day there were pieces of shingles still on the roof, the trailer of scraps was still in our driveway and we had to clean scraps and nails out of our bushes and yard We finally signed the approval for the roof after the trailer was removed and the roof cleaned off Weeks later, it was time for the windows The window installer communicated well but finished after dark, blaming traffic for the late start They wanted the approval paper and check signed while they were packing upThey made it clear they did not want to return the next day, so with a flashlight I inspected all windows and found the shutters to be noticeably uneven on set of windows (the largest window -- which they completed in the dark)I did not sign the completion paper and check until all was seemingly fixed We are still finding small pieces of siding and debris from the old windows scattered on the groundI will be picking up small pieces of trash for quite some timeWe were also told that we did NOT have to be here when the windows were installed, but how is that possible? They were in and out of every room all day They had to caulk some areas and on each window place some interior trim, unfinished wood which we will have to paint around every installed window--another thing we were not told we would have to do or pay for We were told coats of paint would fill in the gaps left in the interior trim We know betterThe windows and roof are completed just satisfactorily, but the experience was not goodClean up was not completed satisfactorily Communication could be much better

We are pleased with our new roof , the workers done a great job

I have spoken with the company and have rectified the situationI now have my windows in and I am very pleased with the outcome

Fabulous salesman, customer service and installers We have now had Windows installed, gutters and gutter guards installed and a new front porch built We can not say enough good things about their serviceIt was always an easy process and no pushy sales Hardest working contractors we have ever dealt with We will continue to use them for all our home improvement projects
