We do not call consumers unless they have purchased prior coverage with us that is nearing expiration.

company does send mailed advertisements, however. If Mr. [redacted] can provide the ID number from the upper lefthand corner of one of the mail pieces he has received; we can then determine if the mail piece was sent on our behalf. If so, we would then be happy to remove him from our mailing list.
Again, we show no calls to or from the number listed in this complaint.

we all receive in the mail each day.There are dozens of marketers that send out similar advertisements regarding the purchase of an extended service contract for your vehicles.  Our company, CarShield, is not affiliated in any way with the other marketing companies out there.  The mailed advertisements sent on our behalf all say CarShield, accompanied by our address, in the upper right or left hand corner.It would be helpful if you could provide us with the ID number that would have appeared on the mailer, so we can determine if it was sent on our behalf and when it was sent. We will be happy to remove your contact information you provided in this complaint from our mailing list immediately.  We apologize for any inconvenience the receipt of the mailer has caused.Respectfully,Consumer Relations

The mailer Mr. [redacted] received was sent on our behalf.  It lists a CODE number, rather than account number.  The mailer is offering extended coverage, IF Mr. [redacted]'s factory has expired.Auto Service Agency is an independent NATIONWIDE company that markets vehicle service contracts...

on behalf of leading third party administrators.  The 3 Administrative Companies that we market for are all Revdex.com Accredited and A+ rated and have collectively paid in excess of 500 million dollars in repair claims for their customers.  When a consumer purchases coverage for one of their vehicles and is in need of a repair, they take their vehicle to any ASE Certified Mechanic or Dealer Repair Facility and have them call the claims number in the booklet.  The Administrator sends out an independent inspector to determine what components have failed.  Once the repair is approved, the repair facility fixes the vehicle and the administrator pays for the covered repair with a corporate credit card over the phone.With all that being explained, we have removed Mr. [redacted] from our mailing list.  He should receive no additional advertisements from our company.Please let us know if you need any additional information.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We appreciate the opportunity to respond to and help in the resolution of this matter.As stated in your service contract and during the sales call, Interstate National Dealer Services is the service provider/obligor of your Interstate National Dealer Services Direct Supreme Service Contract.  All claims submissions, approvals or denials are fully the responsibility of Interstate.  Their number is listed in your service contract as [redacted].  On page 3 of your service contract, #9, it gives instructions on what to do if any dispute or controversy arises relating to the contract.  Any dispute regarding a claim decision should be directed toward Interstate National Dealer Services at [redacted], Atlanta, GA  30339.We do show that you have requested cancellation of your service contract.  A partial refund of 202.60 has been credited to your [redacted] ending in [redacted], the remainder of your full refund, 281.18, should arrive at the address listed in your contract as [redacted], Conyers, GA  30013 within 5-7 business days.  This will constitute the remainder of your full refund.RespectfullyCustomer Relations

Mastercard. The remaining prorated refund amount was also credited back to his Mastercard on July 21, 2015.
We waived the cancellation fee at the time of cancellation for Mr. [redacted].
That being said, Mr [redacted]'s coverage was through United Car Care, an A rated Revdex.com Accredited administrator/obligor. United Car Care has paid over 147 million dollars in covered repair claims for their customers.

If the mailers have come from our company, they would say CarShield in one of the upper corners.  If you would be so kind as to send us the ID number that appears on the mailers sent on our behalf, we can verify if they have been sent by us and make sure you are removed from our mailing list.If you are still receiving mailers from our company, we do apologize for that mistake and will make sure it doesn't happen again.

Again, we have never spoken to Ms. [redacted] on the number she has listed in this complaint.   They are many marketers out there that do call consumers.  We only call customers who have a prior relationship with one of our administrators and are up for renewal.We do send out mailed advertisements.  The mailer she received was sent on our behalf.  We have removed her from our mailing list.
