I talked to Tracie on the phone and through emails in the beginning. She was very helpful and made it easy to get them the paperwork they needed to start the process. I meet Dustin in person to talk things over and he was friendly and answered all my questions.
The final person I worked with was Rosemary. She was great. She answered anytime I called with a question and replied to emails normally within a hour. She helped me get through a stressful time when the seller wasn't being as speedy as they could be with things like repairs to the home I was buying. All in all I have nothing but good things to say about the friendly people at Cascade Financial Services .
This company for one does not answer the calls or return calls, also they pre approve us for a loan and we go through the whole process find land find a home put it all together and then they tell us we are not approved the is gave the excuse that the put my wife last name wrong. My wife last name is miller and they wrote drake. That is what I consider way off and kind of feel they got some sort of fraud going on.

The associates that I had contact with at Cascade were very knowledgeable, polite, and treated me with respect!
This company has outstanding customer service, and will take the time to make sure you understand exactly what you are getting. The home buying process was very easy with Cascade and a very good experience.
Review: I have been with
Cascade Financial for over a year. I use bill pay for this account. I have had no problems with bill pay except for this company. I have my bank, US Bank, send the payment on time, but it take an 5-7 days after it is supposed to arrive for it to get posted. Although it is not technically late, they have people call me to check on the payment. I consider it a form of harassment. Their stock answer is to blame the post office. On day I receive another late notice so I called their offices and the young lady I talked too said, yes, they were having problems with getting payments posted. I think they are using this technique to influence or force their clients to set up electronic payment with their company. I change my date on my payment so it would arrive in a timely manner, and it was actually processed before I had money in my account costing me $36. When I called the supervisor, Scott, blamed the post office. I have no other payment delivery problems with any other companies.Desired Settlement: To change their processing practices.
Upon receipt of this customer complaint, I called the borrower and I feel he now understands that we do not hold onto his payments to process at a later time. I explained to Mr. [redacted] that there is no benefit to us holding his payments for 5-6 days. I explained to the customer that it is to our benefit to process his payments as soon as they are received. We discussed the lockbox (payment processing) process and I explained that the lockbox (payment processing center) that our bank uses does not have the ability to receive online bill pay electronically at this time so his bank has to mail his online bill payment to us using regular mail. I explained that we have had concerns about how long mail is taking to arrive at the lockbox but after a thorough review of their processes we are confident that the mail center in Dallas is causing the delay. The borrower feels we are delaying processing money he is sending us in order to set him up on [redacted] payments where we draft his account directly. There is no financial gain for us drafting his account over processing a payment in any other way. The only reason every person he has talked to about this issue is urging him to allow us to draft his account is because it is the best solution to this problem. If he authorizes us to draft his account on the first, it will be done and his account would reflect that his account was paid on the first. The borrower would not receive any calls or letters except for the monthly billing statement if he sets up an [redacted] payment. We have suggested he set this up because we know he wouldn’t have to worry about this issue anymore if he does. I have reviewed the memo history in our system and Cascade has only initiated one outbound call for the life of the loan for the purpose of inquiring about his payment. The borrower says we have called three times in over one year and I see three outbound calls but the other two were responses to his calls to us. When the borrower told us he would send the payment out early, before his money was in his account, our employee informed the customer that they wouldn’t recommend him to do that because we would process the payment when the payment is received and if he didn’t have sufficient funds the payment would be returned from his bank. We have never had problems processing payments the day they are received. We are working with our bank to get their lockbox set up to take online bill payments electronically but there are technology issues to contend with.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
We were referred to Cascade after another company did not work out and I am so glad it didn't. Cascade has been a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process! Always quick to answer questions, and return emails, no matter how busy I am sure they were! All three individuals we directly spoke with were amazing, always informing us and keeping us in the know on the process. Would definitely recommend Cascade!
Hello, I'm not one would that would usually write a review , but I was compelled to do so after my experience.
I first called cascade financial in May 2014 spoke to [redacted] in regards to a home loan . [redacted] was very pleasant and helpful right off the bat , I could tell that he was a professional and was very knowledgeable. A few weeks went by he called and said he had me pre approved. From then on I provide a few more bits of information [redacted] had request,his staff was also very pleasant . Ashely pisaturo was another person who cared and went the extra mile to provide service and answers to my questions. Very professional. Then my loan was transferred to the Senior loan officer [redacted]. And let me tell you right you will never meet any other person so committed to do there job. [redacted] is asset to cascade financial, she worked so hard to get me the new home my family will enjoy for a long time to come . First time home buyer I was lost. She went the extra mile to get my loan done from start to finish, to the closing. I was lucky to have her help through this whole process. And by the way this was a FHA loan. She got it done .if I were the company owner , I would give her a raise .
Cascade Finance has been my loan custodian for over 5 years. They have worked with me through a difficult period of time. They kept me in my home and working out solutions that I could manage. They have contacted me and offered me the lower rates that we all want for long term debt. My refinance was really easy and the people at Cascade were very helpful. I am a very satisfied customer.
In reading the other views it has become clear to me that I am not the only customer that is dissatisfied with the terrible incompetent service provided by Cascade. If it wasn't such a hassle to refinance, I would refinance just to get a different mortgage company. This company acts as if they are very small as they do not offer services that larger more well known companies offer. I have had several bad encounters with this company over the last year and a half. I currently own 3 homes and do not experience these same problems with Wells Fargo, Bank of America and M&T Bank. My method of mortgage payment is through my banks bill pay. I do this with ALL of my monthly bills including utilities and my other mortgages. My bank mailed the check (my bank has to mail a check because Cascade is not set up to receive online payments) on April 28th. Today is May 21st and they claim they have still not received it. This is the second time I've had this issue with this company. I am very disappointed in this company and will at some point refinance to get away from them.
Closed on a manufactured home/land pkg with Cascade back in February. I honestly can't say enough about how great this experience was.The people I worked with from Jason to Melissa to the WONDERFUL Ruth R[redacted] made an experience that is naturally stressful seem so much less so. When we were put in contact with Cascade, we had already had several bad experiences with other mortgage/financial companies thru our first time home buyers experience. Cascade changed all that & made it wonderful. Once again, many thanks for helping our dreams of home ownership come true!!!!
Very happy to work with Cascade Financial on my mortgage. They did an exceptional job! They made it a very easy process. Told me everything that I would need prior to starting the process so that I would be ready. Everything went smoothly and quickly. We went through Cascade Financial Service local office here in TX and with the Main Office in AZ to finance our new home. They were extremely helpful and answered all my questions. I really can't say how easy they made the entire process.
This financial institution is NOT one I would recommend anyone dealing with for their mortgage needs! We have been trying to close on our loan for over 2 months now and each time the bank gives us a closing date they cancel it because their underwriters need something more or are questioning the most ridiculous thing! I've had 10 closing dates scheduled and cancelled in the past 2 months and had 2 of them just cancelled yesterday!! They have questioned things such as why My bank statement was showing Chevron when I was paying Shell, wanting to get my electric fireplace inspected when it was installed, and even questioning the competency of my surveyor who has been doing this for over 30 years! They even went so far as to demand that the FHA inspector change some verbiage in his report that they didn't like but he told hem that he does this for over 25 companies and No One has EVER questioned his verbiage. It is past the point of being ridiculous on what they continue doing to us!! If I could find another bank at this last minute I would definitely get rid of this company!!!
