significantly lower than usual (we typically respond same business day). This customer purchased 3 bottles of the same product. It was advertised as the ‘Reserve’ version on the site, but the standard version was sent out from our vendor rather than the ‘Reserve’. The distributor misinformed us of the stock unfortunately, and we were unaware in advance that any mistake had been made. We were able to rectify this with the customer and come to a solution for resolving the issue.   The customer was offered a refund, an exchange, a discount on the incorrect bottles, and/or credit towards a future order. The customer selected a reimbursement (a 42% discount on the existing order) in the form of a significant credit towards a future order, and kept the bottles that were received initially.   We’re very glad the customer was understanding and patience while we worked on a resolution to the problem, and we look forward to providing a better experience in the future!   -- email correspondence --   [redacted]       [redacted]

Order a bottle of scotch. Got an email, from [redacted], saying that the item was shipped. [redacted] returned it to the shipper. I have no whisky. I sent email per the instructions and got no response. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time. Use their web site to identify whiskys you might be interested in. Then look around on the web for a "real" business. I found that Total Wine (local for me) has the same whisky about 25% cheaper. Even if your local doesn't carry it, they can order for you most of the time.

Review: I had ordered a bottle of scotch on December **, 2015 and have not received it yet. I have e-mailed them 3 times regarding the issue and have not heard back from them. The tracking number just indicates that a shipping label was created for [redacted] delivery but has not progressed any further.Desired Settlement: I would like my order delivered soon or I will have to contact them regarding a refund.

Review: Ordered from Casker's website on December [redacted] in hopes to have a bottle delivered to Florida for the holidays. I received an initial response saying that my order was pending. I received an email 2 days later telling me that they cannot ship to Florida. Why the order went through, I have no idea. They asked if I had an alternate address. I said I didn't, but I would be more than happy to explore other options that deliver to Florida. I did not hear back from another 5 days after numerous emails and phone calls. After finally telling them I would report to Revdex.com, they said I had the option to cancel or choose another bottle. I told them to cancel order and let me know when credited to my card. I have not heard back for another 2 days. Horrible service and horrible website.Desired Settlement: All I want is my 114.98 back on my credit card.

Review: Ordered liquor from Caskers on 11/**/15. Have not received anything as of yet. Debit card in the amt of $100.85 was deducted from my account on 11/**/15. I have received no acknowledgement from Caskers. No email or anything saying it was shipped, no tracking number, etc. There is no way of contacting them.Desired Settlement: Would either like my order or a refund of total amount.

Review: I placed an order with caskers.com on February *, 2015. On the site, it states that orders ship in 1-5 business days. Today, 2/**/15, 10 days later, my order has still not shipped.

I reached out to the merchant 4 times via email, and attempted 5 unanswered calls. The first email was responded to quickly saying my order probably already shipped and I just hadn't gotten tracking yet. The second and third emails were ignored; the forth was answered on 2/**/15 saying my order should ship soon.

A day later, my order is still pending in the system and has no tracking information, meaning it has not shipped. Caskers does not answer their phone when I try to call. I want to cancel this order and get a refund since I needed the order on or before 2/**/15, but I can't get a hold of them. This has been a ridiculous process with some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. No one has given me a clear answer.Desired Settlement: Cancel the order and refund my credit card.

Review: I placed order [redacted] on 12/*/15 its now the [redacted] and although I received confirmation, and I was billed no shipment. After multiple attempts to call which go directly to voicemail and multiple attempts e-mailing with no answer. I still have no idea where my product is or if this place is even in business.Desired Settlement: Either overnight shipment immediately or refund me immediately. Either way but do something....

Review: I ordered over $200 worth of Scotch from Caskers on 12/**/15. They sent me a tracking number on 12/**, however the product had no tracking info and was never delivered. When I called [redacted] with the tracking number, they stated that Caskers had never sent the product to them to actually be delivered. I have reached out to the company via 4 unanswered emails, a [redacted] post and [redacted]. This appears to be a common issue with multiple customers, however they are deleting all of the [redacted] posts about undelivered products. They charged my credit card the day I placed the order, and seem to have no intent to deliver. I've asked for a refund if they have no intent or ability to ship my order, yet they still ignore me.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my order cancelled and my money refunded in full to my credit card.

Review: Caskers.com on the front end seems like a very reputable, up-and-coming web store with interesting products and promotions. But, the problem is there is absolutely no customer service, no way to see the status of your order, and no way to tell if and when it has shipped. There is no phone number, just a email address to contact Caskers. When you contact Caskers, they only respond seemingly when they feel like it, and it seems to be only one person. That one person is, Will. I ordered a product from Caskers on February *, 2015, they charged my credit card for the product, and I wait for the shipping notification or any kind of notification. Today, February **, 2015, a week later, I'm still waiting on some kind of notification. Emailing Caskers, aka Will, results in no response. Upon further investigation via [redacted], Casksers seems to be popping up on ripoff websites, for this very behavior. I had to search for a phone number, which when you call, seems to just call someones personal phone with a voicemail that says they have "High volume of calls, please email them". No one ever picks up. A call to my credit card company and having the charge removed is now in order.Desired Settlement: Refund on my product for a inferior and a near bait-and-switch, company.

Review: On 12/*/2015 I ordered a bottle of "Auchentoshan Three Wood Single Malt Scotch Whisky" to be sent to a relative of mine in Montana as a gift. I have an email confirmation from Caskers.com indicating the exact bottle etc... On 12/*/2015 the order had still not shipped, but I had been charged on 12/*/2015. I attempted to call Caskers, but was unable to reach anybody or a voice mailbox. I instead sent emails to the concierge and their 'order' email address, asking why the order had not yet shipped. I received an email the following day with a package tracking.

The shipment took a long time, longer than was indicated during the order process. It arrived at my family member's house, in MT, on 12/**/2015. However, I was informed by the recipient of the gift, the following day (12/**/2015) that they were grateful for the scotch and had already opened the bottle of scotch, however it was not "Auchentoshan Three Wood Single Malt Scotch Whisky", but a completely different scotch.

I again attempted to contact Caskers.com via phone. I also sent an email to both email addresses ([redacted]) asking to understand how/why they sent a different bottle of scotch than the one I had ordered, on 12/**/2015. I did not get a reply until 12/**/2015. In their email reply I was told the following:

1- that they (Caskers.com) apologized and will immediately send out the correct bottle of scotch.

2- I would be refunded for the shipping costs, since the shipping took longer than expected and to compensate for the issue

3- That the wrong bottle could be returned or purchased for a discounted price.

I thought this resolution sounded great. I sent an email indicating so on 12/**/2015, and also requested to know the amount I would need to pay for the wrong bottle of scotch (the discounted price), as I expected the bottle that was shipped immediately, was already paid for, and I would just pay a discounted price for the bottle that had already arrived in MT and had been opened.

I still have not received a reply from Caskers.com (12/**/2015). No money has been refunded. No correct bottle of scotch has been shipped, to my knowledge. I have no shipping tracking information. The recipient has not indicated that they received another bottle of scotch.

I have sent emails daily and have tried to call daily from 12/**/2015 - 12/**/2015, with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like the correct bottle of scotch, Auchentoshan Three Wood Single Malt Scotch Whisky, shipped to my family member in MT, as was originally planned and paid for, at no additional charge. I would like a refund on the shipping portion of my order. I would like Caskers.com to actually respond to the requests/needs of their customers.

I did not receive direction communication from Caskers.com, however, I was informed by the original recipient of the gift purchased from Caskers.com, and sent by Caskers.com, that he has now, indeed received the correct bottle of scotch. I have not been charged again for any item. In my mind, this issue is now resolved. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Review: I placed an order for a bottle bourbon whiskey for my aunt for Christmas on 12/**/2014. I received confirmation that very same day that the order was confirmed and provided with a shipping tracking number. As of this day, 01/**/2015, that item has not left their warehouse. This was supposed to be a simple transaction with a shipment of an item to my aunt's house for Christmas.Desired Settlement: I want the bourbon sent overnight at no extra charge.
