Beautiful cabins. Consistently have a wonderful experience. My family and I have stayed in these beautiful cabins at least once a year for the past four years. Nearly each time we have chosen a new cabin to stay at (not because we don't love the one we had stayed at, but because there are so many cabins to chose from). We always enjoy our stay, and always come back feeling refreshed.
Just a short drive to go grocery shopping or to go sightseeing either in Helen or at nearby parks.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a cabin vacation - either as a family or a romantic getaway or a girls trip.

Wendy was awesome! The house was clean and very nice. The direction were on point!

Fraudulent business criminals. They took money out of my bank account without me authorizing it It was all over $1,000. I had tried to reserve a cabin with them two months ago and put a deposit down but had issues with them getting back to me and communication so I canceled my stay and was told I would get back the deposit money I put down to reserve the cabin. I've been dealing with Wendy *** and she's done nothing but lie to me Tom / John *** the owner also just ignores any emails phone calls or letters that were sent to him. Do not deal with this company there are fraudulent they have put myself in my family through much stress financially and emotionally. I have an open court case / civil case in White County Georgia where the business is located. Beware that the owner does not reside in White County Georgia he resides in decal County Georgia so if you come in through any issues with this company the process will take longer to take them to court. once again do not deal with this company it is not worth it they will lie to you and steal your money from you.

We just returned from Hickory Hill in Cedar Creek Cabins. I'll admit I was a little concerned with a few of the reviews I read but the cabin was FABULOUS we loved it! Interior is so cool. Beautiful clean hot tub, pool table, beautiful furnishings. Firepit is so nice with benches and we brought charcoal and grilled. My only suggestion is that we really wanted to cook to avoid eating out with Covid - kitchen could use a few more things (cutting board, cookie sheet, dish towels). But there was adequate stuff I got by without it. Would stay again.

We are still waiting our full refund from our reservation that we were told we couldnt stay.
15 min before we were set to arrive we were called and told the basement was flooding and we could not stay. Wendy told me that a full refund is in process. We have not seen a penny and extremely hard to get in contact with. We are owed back $1018.54. We also have no proof of the $50 insurance company they claim to have even exist and would like information so we can call them directly.

This was refunded already , Unfortunately it does take up to 15 days at times. Most times its just 7 days,

We had to file a dispute with our bank. They had to go after this company. As of today we have not received ANY refund to our account from Cabin Creek Rentals. So whatever amount "left" cabin Creek rental cabins, it was NOT to our account. If you end up being a victim of this company, please file a dispute with your bank. Also the State attorneys office would like to hear this information as well.

We really ENJOYED are stay at the Whispering Waters Cedar Creek Cabin. Great place to go to disconnect and get refreshed. It was refreshing we will be back.

Aww cedar creek cabin rental is hands downs the best every time I come to north Georgia I enjoy. I rented trout lily cabin and it was amazing. We had charcoals already here for the grills( yes there are two grills). We even picked our own wood from the woods behind us. The hot tub was a good way to cool off from walking the trails and my my my the best was so soft I barely wanted to move . I could have slept all day. Overall I will be back (in October) to visit cedar creek cabins again . And to the nice receptionist thank you for booking me for an extra day it was well worth it. Look forward to seeing you again. Thank you again.

I arrived at Bear Creek Cabin on June 23, 2020. It was very difficult to communicate with this business because they don't answer their phone line (ever) and reply with a generic text. There is no professional outgoing message either, so you aren't sure if you've called an actual business. Directions were not sent until 9 pm the night before arrival, for those who like to plan their route and give address to family in case of emergency have a tough time with this. In fact no address is ever provided until arrival, only directions (that seems strange.). Emails come from a man named Tom ***, yet your only contact is Wendy, who seems rushed and frantic, but attempts to be polite.

On arrival, I found no coffee maker (as promised), and for a 1 week stay, 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. I was told I needed to provide this (after complaining), yet this is a "luxury" cabin for which I paid nearly $2000 for the week. The kitchen had 2 spoons, 3 cups, 2 bowls and a handful of plates, most of which had dried caked on food. It sleeps 4. You do the math on that one. There is no cutting board, NOTHING to bake in or on, no scissors and a few pots and pans. The sink and mirrors are not clean. But WAIT, it gets better. There is also no phone/cell service and no land line. We discovered at 10 pm upon getting in bed that the sheets were full of hair, crumbs and bed bugs. I literally had someone else's pubic hair on my pillows. They were also stained with unknown bodily fluids. There were used band aids on the floor next to the bed, and large hair balls on the shower drain. The towels had dark stains and smelled like smoke. There were no rugs or mats for the tile bathroom floors (at all) so you had to step out onto slippery floors with nothing to wipe your feet on. The upstairs bathroom had no shower curtain liner, so the fabric curtain was soaking wet and dripping all over the floor after 1 shower.

I find it incredulous that no one has ever sued this company for the unsanitary conditions in which the beds are kept. Sleeping in dirty sheets is unacceptable. There were no extra linens at all (no sheets) and only 1 blanket for the entire house.

I am 50 years old and well traveled. I like to camp and don't mind roughing it, but this situation was unbearable. Clean (yet stained) sheets were provided the next day after emailing the business, so I think they "think" they solved the problem. The solution is to get a new housekeeping contract and provide more supplies and linens for your cabins.

Cancelled reservation on Mar 6,2020 within cancellation period.Was informed refund will be processed in 1 week. It's over 2 months, no refund received
I have cancelled the reservation on March 6th in accordance with their cancellation policy. I was told by Wendy that my refund will be processed in a week. For a month Wendy kept saying it is delayed but will be refunded.
After 1 month she started stating that the Insurance company will refund it as a claim. I informed her that I did not get any email from an Insurance company neither did I opt for Insurance. Since I cancelled well within their cancellation policy time frame, they ought to honor it and refund my deposit.
It has now been over 2 months and every time I check with Wendy she states she is working with the Insurance company and I will get my refund.
I have now opened a dispute with my Credit card company as it has been almost 3 months and I have not received my original payment.
I feel compelled to now report CCC to Better Bureau Business as this morning I received an email from
CCC stating they will be processing the
Second payment for my reservation. This reservation was cancelled on March 6th and is not COVID related.

I have been more than patient but I feel like I've been strung along by Wendy with no resolution on a simple matter.

All their numbers listed on the email and website go to her and there is no way to speak to Tom *** even though his name is listed on the emails and website.

Desired Outcome

Original payment from Jan 2020 to be refunded. Second payment not to be processed as the reservation was cancelled on March 6,2020 in accordance with their cancellation policy.

We Can't take another payment, you have been canceled. You have travel coverage. But If you don t want to use that, thats fine. It's not refundable so you would lose that also.
If you are okay with that. I can refund you.

As I have said from the start, I never received any Travel insurance policy and was never given the name of this Travel insurance company.
My cancellation was well within your cancellation policy and hence I should be refunded my original payment. Thanks.

It was beautiful! Not only the cabin and view, but the interior as well! The decorations were beautiful, and the owner was so accommodating! It had everything we needed, including pots and pans, trashbags, and even dish and hand soap! It was very clean and well cared for. We won't book with another cabin rental because this experience was just so fantastic. All the other reviews I feel were unfair. So glad we booked this one.

The space was amazing, and the location itself was stellar. The staff bent over backwards to take good care of me and my group - I could not be happier

I wouldn't even give one star. My husband rented a cabin for the Weekend. They took our money upon booking. My husband had a very hard time with the eleven forms he had to fill out, when he called the agency, Wendy was very rude, and Not available to help with the forms. She instantly cancelled our reservation without helping at all!!! Do Not fool with these people. They are atrocious, and very rude, and inappropriate to deal with!

What a great cabin! I loved the layout and decor. It had everything we wanted - plenty of sleeping space, grill, fire pit, beautiful view, foosball table, etc. There was even an Xbox with a bunch of games. Highly recommended!

Website is not misleading at all!! The cabin we rented was picture perfect!! Easy to book! Prices were very reasonable!! Information was sent immedaitetly after booking and again before arrival date. Text messages were sent so air/heat and hot tub could be turned on before our arrival. Great communication!!!! Staff (Wendy & Tom) took great care of us!!! Is there a 6 star rating??

We had a wonderful 4night stay in one of these luxury cabins. We dealt with Wendy who took care of our every concern and need for information! We had one small issue with the hot water, I texted Wendy and she took care of it immediately! Great folks to do business with, we will be back!

We love Cedar Creek Cabins! We vacation with them several times a year. Beautiful, clean cabins. Friendly and responsive staff.

Stayed at Bear Hollow, it was a wonderful cabin for a small family. We returned after our anniversary get away last year in the Oasis. Very clean cabin, wonderful views, porch, fire pit... everything was perfect and clean. The customer service from Wendy is outstanding. Can't wait to visit again next year, we will return as a tradition and Wendy def. makes the trip worth it.

They went over and beyond to give us a cabin for a great stay with our fur babies. We definitely enjoyed the hospitality of the company and will use them again!

Tranquility 2 is the prettiest cabin I've ever booked! So many cute touches throughout, just lovely. Really comfy beds, and my girlfriends and I had such a great time. The downstairs sleeping area made the perfect slumber party! Open concept was great for connecting and enjoying each other's company. We were close enough to make a day trip to local wineries and get back in time to enjoy the hot tub! Loved being in a gated community and in such a peaceful setting. Wendy was awesome to work with! We had a minor issue and maintenance responded promptly and she was sweet enough to give us a late checkout because we didn't want to leave! Thanks, we WILL be back!!
