Central Financial Control Reviews (56)

I been making the agreed payments with Central financial control for few years for ankle surgery. I called in for June 2017, as I didn't receive stub for payment. I tried to make a payment over the phone however they indicated they cannot take my payment as it was transferred over to link revenue resource. Never have had a bad experience, just sometimes wouldn't receive statements or several date typos on statement. Still waiting on why It was transferred, as currently received no notification from either sides.

Review: My name is [redacted] and I received 3 calls regarding bills from [redacted] located in [redacted]. I paid all 3 accounts via telephone to Central Financial Control although I never recieved a billiing statement from the hospital nor the collection agency, and when I requested Debt Verification from Central Financial Control it was never received as requested. Please note that I paid all 3 accounts and here are the account numbers to reference the paid collection accounts listed on my Experian Credit Report:

Central Financial Control Account # [redacted]

Central Financial Control Account # [redacted]

Central Financial Control Account # [redacted]

I am now writing to formally request that these three (3) paid accounts be removed from my Experian credit report by Central Financial Control. As of the date of this e-mail, all 3 paid collection accounts are reporting as "Paid and Closed"; however, I never received any bill or debt verification when requested although I paid the debt via telephone. Therefore, these 3 small debts (all less than $100 each as they were medical copayments etc.) would have been paid and never reported as deliquent to Experian.

I would appreciate you looking into this for me as the only resolution I am looking for is to have the 3 paid collection accounts from Central Financial Control removed from my Experian Credit Report.

I look forward to hearing from you.Desired Settlement: REMOVAL OF 3 PAID ACCOUNTS FROM MY EXPERIAN CREDIT REPORT SINCE I RECEIVED NO BILL NOR A STATEMENT FROM THE HOSPITAL PRIOR TO THE DEBT BEING REPORTED TO EXPERIAN.

Review: They lost my payment that I made nine months ago and are trying to charge me again for the amount they didn't receive. You can not talk to a supervisor. They want you to fax your proof to a fax number. They really were of no help at all during this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like them to take the payment that I "owe" off their records. I paid in full already and do not need to pay again.

Review: In August of 2013 I paid off my accounts in full. CFC advised me that they would remove and update my accounts from the credit bureaus.

In August of 2013 I paid off my accounts in full. CFC advised me that they would remove and update my accounts from the credit bureaus. The account numbers are [redacted], and [redacted]0. All these accounts were paid in full and CFC advised that they would delete and update account information in the credit bureaus. The credit bureaus still show that these accounts have not been paid. I contacted someone from CFC on 10/18/2013 in regards to this and they said they no longer have information on these accounts since they have been paid.Desired Settlement: Please update and delete information on my account in all the credit bureaus.According to your agreement.

Thank you for bringing Mr. [redacted]'s concerns to our attention. Due to the

concerns expressed, our office has thoroughly investigated the matter. Please be advised this is the first

dispute our office has received from Mr. [redacted].

Our office responded to Mr. [redacted]s dispute on November 27, 2013. The balances in question

result from services rendered to Mr. [redacted]'s minor child, Brenna [redacted], by our client. The

Conditions of Services (COS), available at each time of service, outlines Mr. [redacted]'s financial

responsibility for any charges incurred for services rendered by our client. Specifically, the COS

gives the facility permission to transfer the accounts to Central Financial Control.

The accounts in question are paid in full. Our office does not accept payments for deletion of

items listed on the credit bureaus. If any further information is needed, please have

Mr. [redacted] contact our office at ###-###-####.

Review: I had a medical bill that was sent to Central Financial. I was offered a settlement and paid it.

The payment was not reported to the credit bureau and when I did a direct dispute they still said the debt was open and outstanding. also my agreement was that it would show paid in full on my credit report and on one report it was not reported at all and on the other it's that it was paid but not for the full amount.Desired Settlement: Please update my credit report to show this was paid. And show that it was paid in full as agreed.

The business responded to this complaint but asked that its response not be published.

Review: Central Financial Control has added a charge of $1573 to my credit report. I believe that this may be from a past hospital visit in which not only did my insurance pay for, but I paid the remainder balance for the doctors, hospital, medical supplies, etc. Other creditors have attempted to collect this amount in which each time is placed on my credit report then quickly removed after calling. Central Financial Control needs to remove this from my credit report immediately. I have no outstanding debt and am frustrated with creditors falsely adding charges to my credit report. I called and was not provided with evidence of charge. I need this to be removed immediately or legal actions will follow.

Thank you.Desired Settlement: Remove charge from credit report

Review: I visited the ER and requested that a bill be sent to my address. I never received a bill, but several months later I received a collection notice.

The date this collection account was opened was 08/2009. I had been told by [redacted] Medical Center that they would send me a bill in the mail. The amount was never an issue, but they never sent a bill. Instead, I received a collection notice from Central Finance Control and a negative mark on my credit report. They claim that [redacted] Medical Center sent me a bill, but none was ever received. I don't see how they can even claim such a thing, considering they have no proof that a bill was delivered to my address other than perhaps their own records, which could easily be altered or incorrect due to filing issues. I was never contacted by phone or any other method, even though they had that information on file. I've always been very responsible with my money, and this negative mark on my report is completely unfair. I've tried resolving the issue with the company, but as I'm only a lone consumer, I feel as though I'm being bullied by a corporate giant. I've never needed university loans because I attended on a full academic scholarship. I've never needed a credit card because I've always been responsible and bought only what was within my means. Therefore, this frustrating fight with Central Finance Control is the only thing that shows up on my report.Desired Settlement: Since this negative mark on my credit is unjustified, I request that it be removed. I've already paid the amount in full.

Dear Mr. [redacted]

Our office is in receipt of your letter requesting removal of a negative entry from a credit profile.

The aforementioned account results from services rendered by our client, [redacted] Medical Center. The conditions of Services (COS) is the contract that outlines your financial responsibility for any charges incurred resulting from medical services rendered by our client. Please be advised , the COS also grants the facility permission to transfer the account to a collection agency. A copy of the COS was available to you upon admission to the facility. A copy is enclosed for your review.

Per your insurance carrier Blue Cross Blue Shield, $145.48 was determined to be your patient responsibility. If you should have any questions regarding your benefits, please contact the carrier directly. A patient payment of $20.00 was received and applied to your account on March 10, 2009. The outstanding balance is $125.48 and remains due and owing.

Please note, there is no record of any additional payment being received by our office of the facility. Please provide proof of payment for the payment you issued, as stated in your letter, so that we may research the payment more thoroughly.

Please be advised, under this office's obligations to and with the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs), we are contractually obligated to report delinquent accounts. Both our client and this office made several attempts to contact you at the address provided at the time of service [redacted] Road, [redacted] City, NC [redacted]. Specifically, on April 27, 2009 and June **, 2009, our client mailed a letter to the address you provided at the time of service advising you of the past due amount. On August 26, 2009, our office mailed a letter to the address provided at the time of service advising your account was placed in collections and remained unpaid. On September 23, 2009, a credit warning Letter was mailed to you advising that if the account was not paid within thirty days it would be reported to the CRAs as unpaid. As neither a response nor contact as received from you, on October 28, 2009, this office reported the account in question to the CRA's as unpaid.

Since you were duly notified of this debt prior to reporting, a deletion is not warranted. Per our contract with the CRA's, we do not accept payment for deletion of items on a credit report. Upon receit of payment in full, we will advise the CRA's to update your credit profile accordingly.

The account in question has been validated. Please call (800)300-7192 to discuss payment options.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

As stated in my original complaint, I never received a bill, only a collection notice. The amount was never an issue; only the fact that I never had a fair chance to pay this bill. Central Finance Control has no proof they or their client sent me a bill because they never did. If they do, then please ask them to provide evidence of a delivery confirmation. It's not fair that my credit be negatively affected due to their lack of organization. I've showed them good faith by paying off the bill in full when I could have just waited a few years for the account to be automatically removed. I've attached a link that details a similar situation another consumer of their client is currently facing: http://consumerist.com/2006/06/28/piedmont-hospital-sucks/

Review: Insured at the time. Never received notification for out of pocket expenses.

Reference Account# [redacted] Date of Service: 10/31/2011

ER (Palmetto General Hospital) visit on date listed above. Was informed by insurance company that there were no out of pocket expenses because my deductible was met. Never received correspondance from the hospital or the collection agency (Central Financial Control 800-300-7192). The collection agency stated they sent 11 letters to my home address, which is COMPLETELY FALSE! I have not received any phone calls as well.

If I had knowledge of the out of pocket expense, I would have made payment arrangements to clear the debt. I have been disputing this with the CRA (Equifax, Transunion, and Experian) for over a year (since 2013).

This ordeal has negatively impacted my entire life (denial of credit)Desired Settlement: Since I was unaware of this bill, secondary to lack of notification, DESPITE WHAT THEY STATE, I would like a chance to rectify the payment for deletion from ALL 3 CRA (EQUIFAX, TRANSUNION, EXPERIAN).

Review: I have been trying to get get a collections account off of my report for almost 2 years. I had to send in my 3rd dispute today, because they refuse to discuss the account with me. They claim my name is not on the collection's account so they cannot discuss anything with me. I call the credit reporting agency and they said it IS in my name. Central Financial Control has refused each of my disputes, but then tells me they can't discuss anything regarding the account, so which is it? Not to mention the call wait for an actual person.Desired Settlement: I want this collections account taken off of my credit report. Review: On July 7, 2015 Syndicated Office Systems or Central Financial Control received my certified letter requesting validation of account they are attempting to collect (194889[redacted]). I never received a response. Under Texas Finance Code 392.202 a debt collector has thirty (30) calendar days to respond to a debt validation request. If a debt collector has failed to respond to a debt validation request, then they have essentially admitted, per Texas Finance Code 392.202(b)(2), that the debt in question is inaccurate. As of August 17, 2015 they are still reporting a collection account on my credit reports. Also, under federal law I could sue them and ask or thousands in damages, since credit bureau reporting is considered a collection activity. However, I am confident that by channeling this dispute through the Revdex.com, a more simple resolution can be made. If they delete the account, cease reporting it to the credit bureaus, and provide written confirmation of the same, I will consider this matter resolved.Desired Settlement: If they delete the account, cease reporting to the credit bureaus, I will consider this matter resolved.

Review: This company has terrible billing practices that make it impossible for the consumer to understand their statements. I have been paying and making payment plans and payments get applied towards different invoices. If there's a credit they apply it to whatever invoice they choose. When I made a payment to pay off an invoice, for example, $50, they divide the $50 between whatever outstanding invoices they have, so you don't really know how much you are paying towards an invoice.

When you call them on the phone, they say they can only see one invoice at a time. They can't look up under your name or Social Security number.

They don't have statements that show the amount you pay. It only shows the reduction of the amount. It just very very confusing and could lead to consumers over paying. It's extremely frustrating.Desired Settlement: I was told over the phone that it appeared I had overpaid and an audit would be performed on my accounts. I have yet to hear the outcome of that audit.

I called them today 2/27/15 and they don't have an answer regarding the audit. What wasn't sent to the department yet. I have also been sent to collections and I don't know if it was their mistake because I am always making payments.

I called back on dec 24 and paid the agreed amount. Per the rep, it will removed from the credit report. I requested a letter from the collection agency to confirm the debt was settle. I called back again on Dec 29, to confirm the payment cleared my balance and the account was zero. I requested for a letter to verify. The was would be sent that day. I confirm this information was submitted to the credit bureau . January 9, I pulled my credit report. Its show I have a account in collections for $475.00 -see attachment. This information was never told to me. It has caused a decline in my credit report. I am asking for the correct information sent. Review: This has been a completely unethical issue from the beginning. I am a medically retired veteran of the U.S. Army with worldwide status of 100% coverage. Which means that the VA covers my medical when I am traveling away from my home VA. When the VA eventually covered this bill, and zeroed out this balance this company still came after me hurting my credit for the last several years. I have been promised over and over that this was taken care of. As of today 9/8/2014, this is how this company is still reporting the bad credit on my credit report: $131

Review: Central Financial Control placed items on my credit report without ever notifying me that a bill was even due. After some research we found that the charges were for hospital co-pays that my daughter had not paid. CFC did not have our current address until my wife had notified them when we called. They never sent us anything in writing since our conversation even though [redacted] said she would mail out an invoice. I have been given 2 different mailing addresses and 2 different fax numbers to send in a dispute. Anytime you ask for a supervisor you are either sent back to the main number or you get a recording that the number is no longer in service. This company has made it impossible to dispute the charges. Since finding this out, the outstanding bills have been paid in full, yet they are still showing up on my credit report. I want these negative charges off of my credit report immediately as CFC never had a legal right to put them there in the first place since they never notified me of any outstanding bills. Amazingly, the only way they will take it off is to send them a dispute letter to fax number that is no longer in service. Can you please help get this rectified?Desired Settlement: I want all records of collection debt (one for $100 and one for $75) removed from all of the credit bureau agencies immediately. Central Financial Control had no legal right to place any sort of collection on my credit as they never notified me of an outstanding debt.

Review: I went on and looked at my credit report an notice there was a collections on my account. It was for $99 which is a marginal amount but I know it still will effect my credit even though I have never had a collections account. I called Central financial an spoke to a woman about it. She said do to the balance being so marginal we can do away an get rid of this reporting with a pay for delete I agree. To my surprise this collection was never deleted. I call back in to ask why is this still being reported I could not get a solid answer the only thing I received was the account is paid when ever it comes of s up to us. I asked to speak to a supervisor an see why is this still being reported when it should've been removed. The agent said don't worry about talking to the manager Ill look into for an let you know what I can do. I still have yet to get a solid answer to why I was offered something an it never came to fruition.Desired Settlement: I want the collecid.tion removed. That was what I was told when I pa
