I appreciate that Central Security Group was willing to work with me in order to find a mutually agreeable settlement when my mother, the contract holder, passed away

I signed a three year contract with this company in June After months in November csg lost signal with the alarm .I spoke with *** multiple time to verify there was not an issue with the landline on their end, which there was notThis was communicated to CSGThere option was to increase my monthly cost to have alarm monitored by cellular lineI declineThis was not what are contracted services were for July faxed signed day cancelation notice and as of today June CSG continues to with monthly drafts from my bank accountCalled and spoke with csg again todayThey claim they have never received cancelation notice although I have fax confirmation 2nd request has been sent to cancel along with originalContract line #states csg will terminate or suspend service if unable to get a connectionthis company knowingly drafted my account for nearly three years when they can not establish a connection and there are not problems with the phone line

I spoke with *** and we reached a resolution to my issue

This is a follow up to a negative review just submitted We were contacted by a customer service rep and have reached a reasonable resolution to our problem I wish it didn't take posting pissed reviews to get there, but nice to know someone cares about customer service at CSG I hope it filters down to the local level Thanks!

I have been a a loyal customer of CSG for the past year, in June I attempted to transfer my service to my new state(Wisconsin) but found out that CSG did not provide service in this regionInitially, it took awhile to resolve this issue, approximately three weeks to be exact but both Jimmy and *** worked diligently and my contract ended with a mutual agreementI am very satisfied with the end result

I have never in my years of life dealt with a worst customer service department this is absolutely the worst place to go for protection for your home they do not care about anything except the money it takes them several several minutes to file a complaint with the police department and then they do not follow up it takes him several minutes to call you once your house has been burglarized or the alarm goes off if I can give you any advice in the world please please do not use the alarm company

Horrible company versus the real SECURITY ALARM companies Cancellation of remaining contract- months left a years contract and I no longer live at the same residence It is not ethical to target single woman two days within moving to a brand new development and seek their unsolicited business I did not even have time to buy a sticker to put on my front door, "No Solicitors", before he showed up to save the day with a contract that other major competitors don't hold clients to I have had service with ***, ***, & *** Alarms before, so this is not my first time having a security alarm contract They have been informed verbally on a recorded phone call to never call me, email, or send promotional marketing in the mail Furthermore, all representatives of the company, employee or non employee, are not to solicit my business at any of my residences now or in the future

Do not sign up with this company! They have paperwork that does not match up with what was signed in our home We have a contract that says a year agreement they are telling us we signed up for years? We want to cancel but they are basically telling us we can notI don't understand how a company can write on there contracts after leaving our home something different then what was signedThat is fraudulent We have our copies and they are telling us that our copies are not valid

I've been trying to cancel service for monthsI've done everything they've said to doI've emailed them all the information they needI talked to them today and now they are saying they need a signature to cancelWhy didn't they say that months ago! I wish they would've emailed me to tell me they needed a signaturePoor customer serviceAll I get is the run aroundVery hard to cancel service I do not recommend using this company to anyone

My Mother-In-law has Central Security and when we had an issue, I contacted customer service and was contacted by a very helpful representative.***continued to keep in touch via e-mail until our issue was resolved At this time we are completely satisfied with the service and the cost

I recently filed a negative review of this company on the Revdex.com site because they had refused to cancel my contract in spite of the fact that they were no longer providing the monitoring services because their equipment (Cell phone line transmitter) had stopped workingAt that time the forced me to pay till the end of the contractIt is worth noting that I was a customer for about years
As a result of my posting the review; a company representative (Jimmy A.) contacted me and in a very professional manner resolved the issue to my satisfaction

I have been trying to close my account since July and it is now September and my accountIs still not closed I was told in July that I would have to pay thru the end of September and I did I also changed the address, gave them the name of the new owneThat's where things get muddy, I do not know if I mailed the close request with payment or separately but they have no records of receiving it but they did cash my check It's amazing how difficult it's become to close this account
I called back after receiving another bill for charges thru October and was told I had to pay for an additional month because they are not able to process the change in their equipment that fast COME ON PEOPLE! It's amazing that in this day and age that Guardian can not manage to close an account over the phone, while using the security code that's turns the security system on, the same phone that sounds the alarmVery unprofessional company, I expected more integrity from a security company WILL NOT LET THEM IN MY HOME AGAIN AND RECOMMEND YOU DON'T EITHER!

After years monitoring with CSG, I decided to not renew Due to some confusion on my part I mistakenly cancelled with months left on my contract It took several calls between CSG and myself but in the end they were more than reasonable and allowed me to pay one-month monitoring fee in order to end the contract
During my interactions with CSG, everyone I spoke with was extremely professional and courteous Ultimately, the mistake was mine but CSG was more than willing to make sure I left them as a happy customer I would certainly recommend them and if I ever decide to re-monitor, I would certainly consider them

After 3 years flawless security service I decided to part ways with CSG & was told by CSG rep. that I'd let my written cancellation letter 30 day window of opportunity pass. After posting negative reviews on Revdex.com & Yelp. I promptly received a call from another CSG rep. that the company is working to improve customer experiences & asked what would it take to resolve the issue. He immediately agreed to allow a 30 day cancellation immediately. I fell this was only fair thing to do after 3 year contract commitment expired.

I had submitted a complaint a few months ago because I had cancelled our service (we were in between houses) and they deducted an extra month's payment because I had not given them 30 days notice. After my complaint, a supervisor called me and we were able to get our money refunded back to us and she would give us another month of service free at our new house. She called us a couple of other times to make sure we received the refund and if there was anything else that we needed assistance on. I appreciate that she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I would recommend them again - thank you!

This company is very hard to get rid of! I called last month to cancel after I sold my house, low and behold they bang me for another month, and keep me active for a house I don't even own, for another month.

Go with [redacted] or someone else!

[redacted] A of management from Central Security Group personally called because he was concerned with how I felt with my experience with them. I explained to him that how I felt and [redacted] and I were able to resolve my issue. Hopefully in the next 7 months I will buy another house and renew my contract with CSG. Thanks to [redacted] I do highly recommend Central Security Group to anyone looking for security to add to their homes. Thank U [redacted] for helping me with my issue.

Recently after posting a negative review to Yelp regarding small print contract terms, I was contacted by Jimmy, a representative of CSG. I told him about our negative experience with CSG after being long-term customers. Jimmy was very helpful and understanding of the situation and promptly worked to find a solution to our problem. We exchanged emails over a course of two weeks, each time Jimmy responded quickly and always with a positive attitude. While we are disappointed that we had to turn to social media to get our issue resolved, we are very thankful for the help we received from Jimmy and our resolution. I will rate the experience as neutral as an overall experience, if it weren't for Jimmy's help, it would have been negative.
