I admit I had my doubts about thisI've seen all the fake sites that offer to register your pet as an ESA for a fee, and I know they are all fakeWhen I found this one, I was EXTREMELY skepticalThe difference that made me try it is that the site admits that they are connecting you with someone qualified to write you a letterThey didn't say that I need to pay to "register" my pet, they didn't say I need to buy any sort of product to identify my pet as an ESASo, after spending hundreds of dollars on copays and failed medications to treat my severe depression and anxiety, and paying even more copays to be told no by each doctor that has treated me during this difficult time, I turned to Certapet
The initial survey they give you is short, the purpose of it being that it tells you if you may qualify for an ESA or notIt is very difficult to get told noThat was a red flag in my already suspicious mind, as plenty of the other fake sites have you take a simple survey and then pay to get a letter based off of answers to those quick questionsHowever, I decided to keep going with the process
The next step is a 2nd survey, which is far more in depth than the firstThis survey took me about an hour to finish, as I tried to answer the questions with as many details as possibleAfter completing this portion, I was feeling much better about the siteI was still feeling skeptical, and dreaded paying them
I paid them, and waited for my letter to comeThey sent me a couple emails, confirming my order and connecting me with the woman who wrote my letterOnce the letter was done, I received another email letting me knowYou can access it digitally by logging into your account and they also send you a hard copy of it in the mailI researched the woman who wrote my letter, and found that she is legitimate! My landlord even called her (he has had bad experiences with online sites providing fake ESA letters) and she talked him through all his concernsThis is fantastic, and I would definitely go through Certapet again!
