I already had a prescription for my anxiety issues, but it would take weeks for me to get an appointment to get the required paperwork. The mental health professional called me within hours of submitting my application to CertaPet. She spent about an hour (way more than my own doctor!) discussing my history and issues with anxiety. I had a very good experience with CertaPet. When I was reviewing the steps for getting my dog to be an ESA, I looked at various places. Looking at the negative reviews, and scam alerts from various other companies, I was a little hesitant to try it out.
I was reading a article from a woman who got her dog certified as an ESA with CertaPet, and so I decided to look deeper into it. And truthfully, I was a little skeptical of how one can judge over internet whether one is genuinely "disable" or not. But to my relief, the test proved to be a detailed list of questions.
I was approved minutes after I turned in an application. Now my dog can be my partner.
