I found this company on ***, I called and they picked up right away, they showed up on schedule. Mr. Nelson was very polite, professional, honest and knowledgeable. Not only does he give a quote but will adjust the quote to what he actually has to do. His charge to come out was $, I was thankful and he in return was very appreciative of my business. He offered me free advice on the up keep of my current furnace and offered me a discount on another furnace, no matter when I wanted to purchase. Thank Qualified heating Inc for coming out during the Polar Vortex. I recommend this company and would hire them again. Ms. V.

I learned about Qualified Heating & Air Conditioning, while listening to a radio segment, held with the owner, Keith Nelson on ***. Upon encountering issues with a malfunctioning boiler system (shortly thereafter), I contacted the company. They promptly conducted an assessment and repaired the system, along with providing consultation on regular maintenance and overall upkeep. As a result, for several years now, QHAC has become a trusted and valued resource, hired for subsequent heating and cooling projects, and highly recommended to family and friends.

Our furnace went out in Jan 2019. Mr. Nelson, the owner of Qualified heating, came out to look at the old unit. He named several well named furnaces. After selecting a Trane model, it was installed the next day. The installers were very professional and explained how to use the new unit and how to register the product. The unit was reasonably priced. Will recommend to others.

After twenty-five years of reliable service my furnace breathed its last breath! Having no heat, I called Mr. Nelson, owner of Qualified Heating, around 8:30 P.M. on a Wednesday night. He indicated that he was finishing up another job but would come by to assess my furnace problem when he was done. I assured him that I would be fine overnight and he promised to come by early the next morning, which he did around 7:30 A.M. After determining that my furnace was beyond repair, considering its age, the fact that the brand is no longer manufactured, and parts probably not available, I agreed to have a new furnace installed. Mr. Nelson took pictures, made several phone calls to his installers regarding specifications, etc., and indicated the installers would be at my house in about an hour and a half. Around eleven o’clock Mike and Peter were ringing my doorbell. They were professional and efficient. Around 4:00 P.M. my furnace was completely installed, to my complete satisfaction! Mr. Nelson gave me a great deal on the new furnace, including a ten year warranty on parts and labor, plus free furnace and AC inspection for a year. I unequivocally recommend Mr. Nelson and Qualified Heating to anyone in need of furnace service.

I am so happy I called Qualified Heating to look at my air conditioner today. I’ve been sweltering in the heat for several days not knowing who to call. I saw their ad in *** and they looked like a well established business so I gave them a call. They came out the same day and within 30 minutes they found the problem to be just a capacitor. 30 minutes later, they replaced it, topped the a/c with Freon and cleaned the outside of the unit. I was very pleased with the professionalism and honesty they showed.

We were skeptical about hiring contractors, due to what you hear about poor workmanship or customer service. However, once we were sold on Qualified's products, price and promise to make us happy at the end, we used them. Their installers were there on time, knowledgeable and equipped to properly remove and install our heater and air conditioner. They even put up with my dog's constantly barking. I felt so bad, I put dog in the garage. The installers were very nice and cleaned up really good. I'll recommend Qualfied to anyone needing their services.

On Sunday, 7/15/2018, we called Qualified Heating, Inc. and spoke to ***. He came out later that day to address our central air not working. We were thrilled that he would come out so soon, especially on a Sunday! It was extremely hot in our home. *** came out, inspected our system, charged the inspection fee and told us that our AC compressor was not working. Later that night, he called and gave us two options to get our air up and running. The first was to replace our used AC unit with a new AC unit for $1,900. Or, replace the compressor in the existing AC unit for $1,200. We did not have the money for either. We borrowed $1000 and the next day (7/16/18) I called him to go with option 1, and he said I could pay the $1000 now and pay the rest over some months. He said he was sending his guys to our home right away and that all the work would be completed the same day! We were overjoyed- we would finally have AC!! His guys (***) were at our home within a few hours. By the time I arrived home from work, only a couple of hours after the guys arrived to our home, the work was complete and they were clearing everything. One of the guys said they had to show us something. He took us downstairs and told us that the furnace was not installed properly and due to that fact, the air would not be able to flow freely and the cool air would probably not last long because it would eventually blow out the compressor again. This was the first we heard this; not at *** initial inspection nor before the compressor install. So, an AC compressor was installed for what? I paid $1000 for air that I would never have. *** guys left and no cool air was coming through the vents. We let it run all night, but by the morning, only warm air was coming through. We called several times and left several messages. *** eventually came by about a week after the install, said our furnace installer was to blame and gave us the option to fix or replace our furnace.

As the customer stated on Sunday, 7/15/2018, I went to their home to address the AC System not working. I inspected their system and determined that the factory warranted AC Compressor was defective. My technicians exchanged and installed the new Compressor. The customer was charged $1000 for labor, accessories and materials. After the installation and check operation, my technician noticed that the indoor Air Handler, which was installed by another company, was not installed correctly, The wife is a property manager and used her company to install the Air Handler. It was explained to the homeowner that the previous company improperly installed the return air section which caused liquid slugging and failure to the outdoor motor. Unfortunately this problem was not found upon my initial inspection because the indoor unit has to work properly. My technician further explained to the homeowner that the correction on the system needs to be taken care of before they use the system. Within 48 hours the homeowner called saying that the AC was not cooling. My first recommendation was that they call the company that did the initial installation but at this point the wife put the blame directly on my company. I then recommended a repair or replacement. I let them know that the *** Electric Air Handler would fit the dimensions better than the *** unit they currently have. I gave them a quote of $1695 which normally would have been $2695 since they had already paid a previous company. I also let them know that I could possibly lift the unit to make the airflow come across the unit better but this was a 50/50 chance it will work. I am willing to work with the homeowner which is why I took off $1000. I do not feel that I should not be responsible for another company's mistake.

Our air conditioner went out. I used *** and talked to Keith at Qualified and he came over the very next day! Keith is very professional, friendly. He arrived as promised and made the needed repairs at an excellent value. The house was cold before he could finish writing up the paperwork. Keith was very patient with all my question and showed me exactly what was going on, teaching me how to prevent it from happening again. His vast experience and friendly demeanor was a true Godsend in my time of need. I highly recommend Keith and his team of experts and will continue to use Qualified HVAC in the future! Prices are an incredible value for the excellence in service. I feel very fortunate to have met him and encourage anyone in need of HVAC services to try him out.

I called Keith *** because I needed my air conditioner to be serviced. It wasn't working properly so I figured it needed to be cleaned. He came over the same night I called him and took one look at my unit and said I needed a new one. He informed me that my furnace was over 25 years old. He answered all of my questions, was very informative and friendly. I set up an appointment for his team to put in a new furnace and air conditioner on a Monday and they came out on that Saturday to install it. I am so happy with my new unit. He doesn't try to just get money out of you. He shows you what is going on and teaches you how to prevent it from happening again. His 35 years of experience in this business shows and this was the best experience I have ever had with an HVAC company. I highly recommend him to everyone and will continue to use him in the future for my maintenance. His prices are very reasonable.

I want to convey my sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Keith *** and his team members Candice, Peter and Kevin for an outstanding job they did installing a brand new Air Conditioning unit, Evaporator Coil, Line Set in my home. I had called 3 different companies and got quotations but Qualified Heating's service stood out. From my very first phone call the service was amazing, not only Mr. personally showed up at a very short notice to accommodate my schedule and gave me a "competitive" quote but his manners and humble attitude forced me to award him my business. He also gave a 10 Years Parts and Labor warranty.

I contacted QHI initially for a system check up, Mr. Nelson explained the challenges with my outdated system and for health and safety reasons could only recommend a new system; he showed me some of the issues and explained why a new system was my best solution. A few weeks later I contacted Mr. Nelson to begin the process (a very fair price) afterward everything was like "clock work". The QHI team were very professional and efficient; they demonstrated and explained everything that was installed and assured me that I could call anytime for questions or assistance.
