I have been waiting 6 months for windows and now the dead line for government grant is coming to an end I will lhave to pay full price. money I don't have I have asked for my 1000.00 deposit back and they gave me the hope the government will extend the offer however I have been trying to call them and they wont answer the phone. *** I am at a loss as to what to do tat deposit money is a huge loss to me as I am on a pension

Desired Outcome

I would like my dep returned at your request

I cancelled the window service within their 10 day policy and they say they don't have the money to refund my $6500 deposit.
THEY WONT REFUND MY DEPOSIT $6500 -------------On October 1st we decided to go with certified windows to replace our house windows. We provided a $6500 deposit which was cashed the same day. After discovering their quote was for retrofit and receiving a better quote from a different company for window replacement down to the frame, we decided to cancel. We called Oct 2nd to cancel the service. We were told on Oct 1st that they have a 10 day cancellation policy. This is also written on the contract. Initially, everything seemed fine. I was told I would be contacted about the cancellation. No one contacted me so I then called on Oct 4th. At this time I was put in contact with the manager at certified windows ***. He spoke to me about changing their quote to change windows down to the frame but I said I still wanted to go with this other company. He said that it wouldn't be a problem and he would be in contact with *** to get me my refund by Friday Oct 12th. I requested that something be sent to me via email confirming my cancellation. He said someone in administration would send me cancellation information but that never happened. Thankfully, he did send me an email with his contact information. I had replied to that email asking when I would receive the confirmation of my cancellation and he sent me an email back summarizing our phone call to cancel the window service and date the phone call happened. So far everything seemed fine and like there would be no issues. Come Friday Oct 12th I called because no one had contacted me about my refund. I spoke with the manager again and he stated that they had been very busy with customers from the green program and that they did not have time to issue me the check. He requested that I call back on Monday. I called back on Monday and he stated that Monday's were very busy for them ***. He also now said that the accountant wasn't in the office until Friday Oct 19th so I would need to call back on Friday and they would get me my cheque Friday. I texted the manager on Thursday to let him know I would be in Friday at 10AM to pick up the cheque. He texted me back requesting that I call him after 8PM. I called him at about 8:30PM and he said that the *** was still driving back from *** and would be in the office shortly and asked if he could call me back at 9:30PM. I asked him why I needed to call back and what the issue was and it was brought up that we would still not be getting our cheque so he wanted the *** to be on the call to discuss when I would get the cheque. Me and my husband called back at 9:23PM and we spoke to the manager only again. The *** was not on the call. He said that we would not be getting the cheque because they don't have the money to give us the cheque. *** They said they would need to get money in order to pay us back our deposit. We did not receive any service from them and we canceled well within their policy to get our refund YET they have spent our money.

Desired Outcome

We would like our $6500 deposit back NOW as it is rightfully OURS!

I ordered 5 Windows om March 18 2018 and was told they will be ready my the end of May 2018. This is a Cash and carry order. I plan on installing them
Tried calling them many times. They keep saying they are build. They said there behind on delivering. Im tied of wainting, Winter is Coming.

Desired Outcome

Find a way to have these Windows Deliveried ASAP.

All of my windows are damaged, incorrect door, bounced refund cheque, no call back from ***
All of my windows arrived damaged. They ordered and installed the wrong door. 2 windows were put into the wrong rooms and the "inconvenience refund" they issued bounced. My kitchen window leaks. Im still waiting to correct door with a window. Capping colour was supposed to brown, it's white. The ***promised to make it right by scheduling an appointment with his Quality Manager, who never showed up. No call backs or answer to emails.

Desired Outcome

Finish the job, correct all errors and refund me a reasonable amount for my time, and despair over this.

Product not delivered in timely manner. Asked for refund of my deposit of $3950.
After 7 months was given cheque for above and it bounced!
Purchased February 2018.
Paid 3950 deposit. Windows did not get delivered throughout the last 7 months. Asked for refund in August and finally was issued a cheque for Sept 21st. This cheque bounced.

Desired Outcome

Immediate refund of my money.

One of the windows installed did not meet quality that was promised at the time of purchase.
I purchased eight windows that were installed in October-November of 2017. When I contracted to purchase the windows I made it clear to the sales person that noise abatement was most important as I live on a heavily used main artery. I was assured that the windows I purchased would address that issue. Approximately a month later I noticed that one of the windows facing the road was not abating the noise. This was observed by several other people including house guests and my long time cleaning lady. I contacted the company in November, 2017. Over several months and multiple phone calls and promises to resolve the issue, there has still been no resolution. The company sent a quality assurance individual who confirmed my concerns. I waited to hear from the company but had to again make multiple phone calls to ascertain what they were going to do. They decided to send another quality assurance person (the first one had quit as had the installer) who came when the road in front of my home was closed for several blocks for construction and the detour resulted in almost no traffic in front of my home. This person then told the company he did not see a problem but I indicated that there was no traffic on the day he came which is the source of the noise. After he came I was told I would receive a phone call within a few days to discuss a remedy. I did not receive a phone call and again had to make several calls to speak to the person I had been dealing with. Subsequently, that person also quit. I was given multiple excuses as to why I was not receiving any answers and had to continue to call when promised phone calls were not returned. Three weeks ago on September 4, 2018 I again called and was told someone would call me back the same day- two weeks later I had not received any phone call. On Wednesday, September 19, 2018 I called again and informed the company that I wanted to be reimbursed for the cost of the one window and the matter would be resolved. I was told that the owner indicated in order to do that they would have to send another quality assurance person- a third new one- and he would call me within two days to set up an appointment- the call did not come and I called today, September 21, 2018 and was told the person who was supposed to come had to go out of town unexpectedly yesterday and was sick today. I informed the company that they had two weeks to provide a certified cheque for the cost of the window or I would take legal action and suddenly two hours later the individual who was "sick" and not at work calls me from work sounding fine. He indicated that he would cost the window and bring a certified cheque within two weeks. It remains to be seen if this will occur. Regardless, no customer should have to do what I have had to do over the past several months causing incredible frustration and stress to receive the customer service that was promised at the time of purchase. It is in every way unacceptable.

Desired Outcome

As noted previously, I have indicated that a full refund for the cost of the the one window in question is the only acceptable resolution at this point.

Purchased Mar28/18 & still waiting for delivery & install told be in by July/18. keep getting someone different on the phone & the date keeps changing
I purchased 2 windows and 2 patio doors Mar 28/18 & had to give a cheque for half the full amount.$3209 and I was told they should be installed 2nd week of July. A fellow came out and measured everything so they could be made I called my salesman in July to see why my windows & doors have not come and he said that it will likely be in Aug now as they running behind. I called Aug 8/18 and asked why I have not received my windows and doors, talked with *** who said they were booking in the 2nd week of Sept. called again and spoke with *** as the other girl quit and *** said I wouldn't get them install till Oct 18th. I told her this is not exceptable and that I have a contractor siding my house and is waiting on the windows and doors to be put in so he can finish and that he could put the items in because she told me that they are training people to install & that don't have enough people. I said that he could do it but she said no. She told me the doors & window were made and I said send them here but she didn't know when that would be. I told her I was going to the Revdex.com if I didn't get them. Called again today talked to *** who said *** quit and she didn't think the doors and windows were made and she would have the owner *** call me, well I'm still waiting. *** I have asked for my money back but it seems I have to wait for this *** guy to call.

Desired Outcome

I would like my money back as I am tired of the delays and do not believe I am going to get the products installed.

Ordered Windows 5 months ago. Was promised a month ago that install would be today. Have attempted to contact number numerous times, no response.
On the 24th of April we signed an agreement to have 11 doors replaced at our home for $10K. We provided a $5000 deposit. We understood there would be a delay due to high demand due to rebate program. Months went by and we didn't hear anything. My wife called them in August and we were given an install date of today. We didn't hear anything last week to confirm so again we attempted to call them, the phone goes to a voicemail and there is no space to leave a recording. I have texted and called the sales person and no response. We texted a Google SMS number and got a response from someone who said he was the owner *** that he would contact us. NO RESPONSE>
***.

Desired Outcome

I want these Windows installed toay and tomorrow as promised. Time was taken from work to be here for the install. If not, I want our money refunded.

I purchased windows from Certified windows in January 2018. At that time they made me sign the loan documents for their preferred finance company
On June 22nd I requested by email that my contract be cancelled as I had just lost my job and the windows were not in production and I was told it would be November before the installation. The finance company has already started to pull payments from my account and I still have no windows or confirmation that the contract has been canceled and finance company paid off for the product I have not received. I was assured by email in the first week in July that the windows were not in production and that yes the contract could be cancelled. I have had excuse after excuse since then for why it has not been cancelled and refunded. I have had no response for the past two weeks and the payments continue to come out of my account. I called the finance company and explained the situation. They said this is between myself and Certified Windows and they would continue to withdraw the funds until they received full payment.

Desired Outcome

Cancel the window contract and repay *** the balance and refund me for the payments that have come out of my account.

I am writing to inform you that Certified Windows has agreed to a settlement and been professional and fair in response to my complaint. They further compensated me for out of pocket expenses. I consider this matter closed at this time. Thank you.

This company has no service towards the customer after they have made a sale.
We are now in week 27 of a 9-14 week window installation. Never has any representative of their company contacted me after they have promised. I have repeatedly called emailed or texted in order to set an installation date (which was rescheduled twice). Once we finally had them here, we now have a window in that is only finished on the inside. However, the installation was so poorly done, other companies will charge us $800 to fix all of the mistakes. Our window has sat for 7 days unfinished on the outside. The only response I have received has been that a service call can be made for a week and a half from now (20 days after this installation has begun).

Desired Outcome

A representative to come to my home within a day or two to assess the damage. Schedule an installer to finish the job within a week

Certified Windows Response • Aug 07, 2018

We have reached out to the client and sent our service representative to remedy. Also, we are aware that the client ordered a retrofit window and was somehow expecting a full replacement. We feel we are working with the client and have a solution.

Customer Response • Aug 07, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No. We in no way feel that this company is working with us. Their service rep came 20 days after installation, it is now been over a week since he came with no communication from the company as to when this problem will be resolved.
There was no expectation other then having new windows with a professional installation. This work that has been done has been completely unprofessional and looks to be done by someone with no experience.
It is not unreasonable to expect to have a replacement window sealed properly, which ours is not. We expected trim that does not have nails hanging out. We expected trim work that looked professional ***. We did not expect to have caulking in globs all around the base of the windows and foam overspray everywhere.
*** The company is not working with us and communicating as I have emailed over and over with no response. No we did not expect anything beyond a retrofit that looked clean and was done professionally.
They have not reached out once. The only communication there has been has been initiated by us.
If this issue has not been resolved in the next few weeks I will be returning their windows and asking for a refund

Certified Windows Response • Aug 21, 2018

The client has been scheduled since Aug 14th for a re-installation of the window on August 29th.

Customer Response • Oct 16, 2018

Our reinstallation has been rescheduled twice. To date we have not received a call back from the company. Have been waiting for 5 weeks to hear from ***. Our window is still incomplete.

we had a door installed and they did not do it properly because we can see outside in the corner when the door is closed.
they also told us (in writing) that they would give us a check for the 7 mths over due date of our door.
I waited home for 2 days because they said they would come yet they never called or show up. when I called they said they would find out what happened and call me back. they never called back. I have been calling them and they refuse to return my calls. they have no service after the sale is done.

We searched our database and could not locate the client. We searched for the client via last name. Although we had clients with this same last name, we couldn't match the last name with the postal code given. We would like to receive more info if possible, like an address or phone number. Can you reply to the client and see if we can get some updated information for them?
Thank you.

This company has a $1000 deposit for 2 windows. They promised the install within 10-12 weeks. I have been waiting for 6 months. ***
In reference to an order for 2 windows that was placed on August 9, 2017. ***.
In good faith I reached out to Certified after seeing representatives at the London Home Show in April, 2017. On two separate occasions a sales person "in training" accompanied by a Manager came to my home to measure and "sell me" on Certified. Both times, I was assured the windows would arrive to be installed within 6-8 weeks. My order was placed on August 9, 2017. I adhered to the company policy and paid a deposit of $1000.00.
After many months of following up I received an email on January 10 detailing that your company is running 16 weeks behind. Now they are running behind 6 months and counting.
The company has cited the following issues: ***, weather issues, factory delays, factory shutdown, the Windsor floods, no installer, installer won't come to London, and the recent one - the shipment did not arrive on Saturday!
I have requested a refund as this company cannot seem to get my windows installed.
***
Since my order has been extremely delayed, no trained installers in the London area, *** my only recourse is to obtain a full refund of $1,000 (no interest).

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund.

Certified Windows Response • Mar 13, 2018

Client has been issued a full refund.

I have dealt with this company and initially had a few minor scheduling problems but everything turned out for the best.
