According to your complaint, you state our company advertises itself as the USPS and did not disclose charges to your credit card.  Our website states several times that we are privately owned and are not affiliated with any state or federal government agencies, including the United States Postal Service.  We also disclose our processing fee several times throughout our website.  We also have a Terms & Conditions box, which you must select to continue with your address change.  The Terms & Conditions also state our non-affiliation with the USPS as well as our processing fee.

In researching your order you placed on 11/20/2016, your order was cancelled on 11/21/2016 and all charges are currently listed as a voided transaction.

We hope this provides some clarification and apologize for any confusion this may have caused and look forward to helping you resolve this matter.

My daughter asked me to change her address online for her. I don't even know how I ended up on this site that imitates the Official USPS change of address website. I am fully aware that USPS charges $1 for an address change, and I was absolutely shocked to see a charge of $59.95 on my bank statement. I reviewed my email confirmation at that point and saw there was no charge listed at all. I NEVER in a million years would have agreed to pay almost $60 for what costs $1. I called for a refund and was offered a 50% discount, which is totally unacceptable. I finally agreed to $1.95, with $58 refunded back to my card. This is still almost 100% increase in what I thought I was paying at the official USPS site. I have yet to see if the money will actually be refunded back to my card and now I feel the need to cancel my card because this is obviously a scam.

Secondary response to complaint submitted by [redacted]):
As stated in our previous correspondence, we do apologize for you experience we our company.  After researching your order and having the customer service call center research your call, it was determined you spoke with Asha F. (Not Sydnie) on October 4th., who immediately canceled your order and voided any/all charges to your account.  For quality assurance, we do keep records of all calls.  With that in mind, it was also determined our customer service representative did indeed follow protocol, and did cancel and void your transaction per your request.
Our website clearly states our services as well as our service charges, several times throughout our site.  We have also clearly indicated we are a privately owned company and are in no way affiliated with any state or federal government agency, including the United States Postal Service.  We also indicate, should you wish to submit an address change elsewhere, government forms may be obtained at USPS facilities at no charge. To provide further affirmation of our services and charges, we include a Terms and Conditions box, which you must accept before proceeding with your address change. We do not have the ability to link, or otherwise traffic users from the United States Postal Services website, to our website.
We take our customer's satisfaction with great importance, and your order was successfully cancelled, and any charges to your account were voided.  Again, we apologize for any confusion this may have caused, and hope this provides a final resolution, as your requests have been fulfilled.

If you have further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service during business hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-1pm (Mountain Standard time) toll free at [redacted]

On May 2, 2016 I attempted to make an address change with the USPS. I was anticipating a $1.00 charge for this service, and gave them my credit card number. I have done this seasonally several times in the past with no issues. This time our mail was not forwarded and we contacted USPS. new were informed that they did not receive our forwarding request until today, (5/11/16), nine days after we requested the change, They also informed us that the request was not made by us. but by changemyaddress.org. USPS indicated that they were going to start and investigation. We checked our credit card statement and found a charge for $49.50. I have no idea how I was linked to this website but find it incredible that they took 9 days to process my request and charged this amount. We filed a complaint with our credit card company for dispute resolution. In the meantime we've had no mail for 10 days.

Negative Experience, Be ware- Imitates Official USPS change of address website with hidden disclaimers. Charged me $60 for my intended purpose of only using it to change my address which would have been a free service had it been the USPS Government page that I thought I was on. Call and request a full refund (they will try to offer you partial refunds 3 times, refuse them)

Sydnie A.
Customer Service

This is not true.  I didn't go to this website but started at [redacted] and this fraud company is somehow linked into to get you to switch over to their website.  [redacted] is totally aware of this scam and told me they get calls all the time about the same company and they don't know how they are linked. I never went to this fraud site and when I checked out it does not give you a price to review before purchasing.   I knew how much the post office was so didn't worry about.   Who is dumb enough to pay $59.99 for an address change.    Total scam it's all over the Internet now I have researched it.
Also Sydnie is who I spoke with and is the most rude person I have ever experienced in a business and I told her that.   So customer service satisfaction and she hung up on me once and I called her back.   Before the end of the conversation to be completely refunded I asked to speak to her supervisor to report her but sag said he was not there.   She was screaming "I do not r care" repeated as I told her I would be reporting this to Revdex.com.
