ZERO STARS! This company is a joke Do not do business with themThey don't answer the phone They lie for one another, They have poor record keepingI am nit sure how they are still in business but I will make sure they will not cause anyone any stress or loss of money if its the last thing I do

Unfortunately, after all that we have gone through in dealing with and giving them a chance to rectify the issue, I have no desire for them to touch my car again because I do not trust they know what they are doing If they truly have a desire to provide the highest quality of service as stated, they would have come to pick up the car since 2/22/when we first reported the leak issues is still there and they promised on more than four instances to come and tow the car back to their to their shop but no one showed up or called In each occasion, I had to waste time and stay home to wait for them We have phone records to support all the times we have called and spoke to Stephanie, Desiree, Lynnette (spelling) and others and none even called back as promised. The car is being towed to another mechanic today to complete the repairs The only option acceptable to me is a full refund. Appreciatively,*** ***

Charity Towing is the best towing business in Phoenix az Because I had the city of Phoenix come tow my vintage car from my home In take about $valuable from my back yard a after my birthday Then the city of Phoenix say we have clean your back yard But they take my vintage bike, vintage car , new electric gate motor , industry hoist , *** *** 4speed transmission and bumper , 4xdeferential , *** *** table , vintage industrial work bench Some metal art Charity Towing was nice of enough to give me more time get my old car out of impound sooner ?? On February 27, 2016, I requested a tow truck thru my insurance company's roadside service My request was routed to Charity Towing of Phoenix I was told by the Roadside Service that per the contract the tow could be as long as minutes away I waited at my disabled vehicle for over hours and minutes and a tow never arrived I called Charity Towing twice Once after an hour and then again after two hours Each time I was told that a driver would call me back with an ETA I never received a single call with an ETA or any indication that the truck would be seriously delayed Finally I took a cab home, called the Roadside Service back and canceled Charity Towing

My fathers truck broke down and needed a Tow and also a ride home, our auto insurance coordinated the tow truckThe Tow truck driver confirmed he knew that my father needed a ride home as well The reason for my complaint is upon arrival of the tow truck had a woman with him leaving no room for my father in the truckThe tow truck driver advised my father to get on the flatbed into the truck that was being towed! Now my father being only able to speak Spanish and also was tired of waiting hours for the tow truck got in hopelessly trying to get homeIn addition to this the tow truck driver charged an additional $when dropping him off when all cost were handled by my insuranceI would never recommend this company to anyone all because one employee made a decision that put my fathers life in dangerMy insurance has been great in getting money refunded

I requested a flat bed tow truck for emergency road service for meThey sent a regular tow truck which arrived minutes laterCalled the company and was told that they were sending a flatbed this time will be there in 30minsminutes later, the 2nd driver called me directly to say that he had the flat bed but already had another car on it, so he will need to tow me on the back hook like a regular tow truckI said that it was not what was requested and that would not be acceptableDriver said "well, too bad" and canceled call

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY
Yesterday, as I was leaving work my car wouldn't start and was giving a lot of error codes, and the car is only years oldDue to us having road side assistance, we called them at around 3:PM, and they adv that someone would be here within the hour We never even heard a response from the company, so we then had to call them to make sure that someone was on their wayThey ensured us as that someone would be thereAfter about an hour and a half of just waiting, we called them again, and the agent on the phone said that the tow truck driver tried to get the car but no one was by the car( SUCH *** BECAUSE WE WERE WAITING OUTSIDE OUR OFFICE BUILDING AND WE WERE IN FRONT IN THE DEGREE WEATHERWHAT KIND OF PERSON JUST MAKES STUFF UP LIKE THAT?)
At this point we are so upset, the agent then assured us that someone would be here soonWe told her we didn't want anyone else to come, especially after that mess

well, NO WONDER this business isn't Revdex.com accreditedThis 'business' is a damn jokeWe called our insurance provider because our car broke down on the U.SWestbound and they told us it would be an ETA of about an hour until the tow truck came by to tow it to the houseOur credit card information was taken immediately and we were told to waitAnd wait we didAfter an hour we called the tow truck company to figure out what the hell was taking so long and were told that they contacted the driver and he was en route and it would be another mins...ok fine, we waited...then after mins, called them back and this time demanded to speak to a supervisor because it was becoming clear that this company was severely lacking in any sense and logicSupervisor pretty much said the ETA was an hr and thirty mins, and yes, the driver was (at this point) mins later than that and that she can't really do anything but try and contact him (AGAIN)Are you kidding me?!?!? we're sitting out here in the arizona heat for the past hours and you're telling me there's not ONE tow truck driver within mins from us, that you can dispatch? I hung up and called State Farm and told them they need to drop CHARITY TOWING because they suck and can't even find parked cars on the side of the U.SWThis is absolutely unacceptable and VERY unprofessional to tell paying customers that they're SOL because the tow truck driver is an itAfter I contacted State Farm, they 3-way called another tow truck company APACHE SANDS and the driver was there within MINSNow you tell me the differenceYou have a tow truck company who says the driver didn't 'see us' and you have a completely different tow truck company who not only found us, but was there within minsDISGUSTING excuse for a companyI absolutely hope you go out of businessI am surprised that you ppl have a 1-star...you deserve zero starsLearn how to do your jobs, because you absolutely SUCK at itDon't ever use Charity TowingThey are a waste of time and garbage companyhours of waiting and no one from their company showed up or evern offered to do ANYTHING about our situation

The company is contracted to and accepted providing roadside assistance A call for service was initiated and eta was continually promised as being "minutes away" This lasted for hours
Upon the first eta message, the company was contacted and told the temperature was degrees and that there was no visible area of refuge from the elements, they promised to arrive in minutes
Not only did they excessively charge the driver, but they then claimed that they had advised roadside assistance that they would not arrive for to hours This is contradictory to a statement made in several direct calls to the company's dispatch office
Given the weather, the risk of personal risk in remaining in such elements, their honest response would have had the driver simply escape and return to the vehicle or allow for towing without them remaining in attendance

The business was paid $to fix a leaking coolant on my BMW 535i After getting home, I discovered the car was still leaking coolant My wife and I have called them repeatedly since 2/22/and they have promised to come and tow the car back to complete the repairs we paid for As of today, no one has come and each time we call they claim the manager is busy, not available, someone will call back, etcbut no action In the meantime, the car is sitting in the garage because we are afraid to drive it for fear of damaging it

Towing And Recovery, we strive to be the best! Our drivers are very dedicated at what they do. Unfortunately, that day we did have one of our trucks go down, which did set us back on our ETA times. Our call volume was very high that day as well.  We sincerely apologize that you had to wait. We would like to give you a $25.00 gift card to a restaurant of your choice for the inconvenience. Unfortunately we can not refund any money because service was completed. In the future we hope that you can count on us for your towing needs and we can ensure that we will try our very best to make sure that this does not  happen again.                                                                                                                                                   Thank you, [redacted]                                                                                                                                               Customer Relations Manager

This towing company left my daughter stranded at the side of the road for over two hours and then said they weren't coming at all. They are a subcontractor for Pep Boys. I can't believe a national company like Pep Boys would contract a towing company like this.

"Charity" Towing was hired by my insurance company to tow my car. I was out of town and explained at that time that I needed someone willing to keep the car until I could check on it in 3 days. They offered that service with no reservation or conditions. Two days later I received a call with unauthorized charges. First they tried to charge me for diagnostic work that I did not authorize. I argued the charges and they relented, but changed the bill to $100 a day for storage. This is the first I heard of storage fees after speaking with them twice and leaving a voice message 2 days prior when I explained my intent to keep the car there for a few days. I argued those fees and they lowered them to $25 a day. I did not agree with the charges because they were not authorized, neither was I informed that there would be a charge. I paid the fee under duress, because I was desperate to remove the car from their control. I highly recommend staying away from this unscrupulous company.

On Friday, 2/26/2016, my wife had called our insurance company as her front drivers side tire was flat. The insurance company had contacted Charity towing at 6:30 pm. By 8:30 pm, no truck had shown up, the tow company after many excuses said now the insurance company dispatched a flatbed. They now had to dispatch another truck because the care was in the Airport Parking garage. The "new" truck would be at the airport around 11:30 pm. I went to stay with my wife at the airport as a unescorted woman in a parking garage is hardly a safe scenario, and once there, we called Charity towing again. I respectfully asked the dispatcher (I think his name was Joshua...not sure) why it would take 2 1/2 hours to figure out why a flatbed wouldn't work and why it would take another 3 hours for a truck to arrive at the airport. I used "sir" often, and spoke very calmly, and he kept interrupting me. I told him I understood the wrong vehicle was dispatched (which I didn't), and again asked, "may I ask, why is it going to take three hours for another truck". At that point, this man simply stated "I don't have to explain myself to you" and hung up. We called back, no answer. We called our insurance company, they placed us on hold, and they didn't go into specifics, but she said "he was acting sketchy....we cancelled the tow and dispatched a different company". The result? ABOUT TIME TOWING contacted us, asked our exact location and had a very clean truck to us in 40 minutes. The driver was extremely professional and hassle free.

I would like to ask, Charity Towing states they donate a percentage of each tow to charity...yet there is nothing listed on their website as to who or how much they've donated. I will be researching this as well.

Lastly, I will utilize every possible social media outlet to leave honest reviews about our experience with Charity Towing. Based on the Yelp Reviews I've seen thus far, the VAST MAJORITY of reviews are extremely negative, and all have the same theme.....misrepresentation about the timing of pick ups, lack of communication, and when all else fails, they hang up. CLEARLY they don't care about customer service, the safety, or have any consideration of their customers time.

I had gotten into a minor accident resulting in 4 flat tires on my brand new 2014 Toyota corolla. Through Toyota Roadside assistance, I was assigned Charity Towing and Recovery to tow my car to the dealership to get fixed. I told the Toyota roadside assistance representative, the dispatcher of the tow company, and the driver of the tow company that I had 4 flat tires and that the car must be put on a flat bed. They told me someone would arrive within an hour of and a half. After waiting two hours with no tow truck in sight, the dispatcher called and said I could leave the car where it was and go home, everything would be taken care of. The driver called all throughout the night, sounding incoherent, and when she finally got to the car 4 hours later (at 4am) she asked me to sign a waiver over the phone for any damages. I told her I didn't feel comfortable doing so and that I would come down to where she was to make sure everything goes smoothly, and she quickly cut me off and said the car was already in tow. When I got to the auto body shop to look at my car I was absolutely mortified when I saw my car was damaged beyond belief. The two back tires were ripped to shreds with no rubber left, and the rims were completely bent. The entire passenger side of the car was dented and had burnt rubber all along the side. Turns out, the tow truck company dragged my car at a high rate of speed for a long distance causing $5,300 worth in damage to my car. After calling the tow company, the dispatcher admitted the car was not towed correctly. However, the owner got on the phone, yelled at me, called me a liar, and told me he was not taking liability for this. When I asked for his name he said "[redacted]" and when I asked for his last name he responded "[redacted]", clearly a sarcastic remark not wanting to give me his name. The driver had since been fired. I have never dealt with worse customer service in my life. This company did significant damage to my vehicle and it has now been a month of arguing and trying to get my car fixed as I cannot afford the damages this company has done to my car.
