Having not done any maintenance on our hot water heater since the house was build 4 years ago, we decided to have it looked at by Chas Roberts. Santiago arrived at our home ahead of schedule and completed all the necessary work within 1 1/2 hours. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing as he went along. His recommendations definitely prevented a future issue with our water heater and should ensure more years of service from it. His professionalism is another example of the type of staff that Chas Roberts employs and we definitely recommend Chas Roberts for all your plumbing and A/C needs.

I had an inexpensive programmable thermostat installed this past summer by a handyman who incorrectly wired the unit. When I changed the system from cooling to heating 11/15/15 the system was inoperative. I called Chas Roberts on 11/16/15 and was able to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. The technician (Hector R[redacted]) called 30 minutes prior to arrival, showed up during the window, was very efficient in identifying the improper wiring of the thermostat and resultant blown transformer, installed a new thermostat and transformer, and I believe he only charged for a minimum of labor. I never like spending money for repairs, but this was money well spent and I am a very satisfied customer!

Chas. Roberts service technician, Rick M[redacted], has been maintaining our a/c and furnace equipment for several years. He is without a doubt one of the most professional technicians we have ever worked with and an excellent reflection on Chas.Roberts as a company.

Hugo was knowledgeable . found the problem and fixed it Charge was reasonable.

I have Chas R[redacted] check my AC unit twice a year and it's been keeping us cool for 16 years now. The unit has been well cared for and they've done a good job with replacing parts that have worn out and they've always treated us with respect and integrity. My unit is showing signs of age and when it's time to replace it, I will look to Chas Roberts first. Their Tech Hector is great!

I spoke to a Chas Roberts supervisor regarding charges occurred for a "re-connection of an electrical wire"and to "Connect a tmp fr water heater" , total charges $298. I received a quote to install a new water heater for $278 from another company. Bottom line, I was not happy with total charges and believe they were too high. I will take my business else where in the future.

Multiple breakdowns on a new unit in 2011 that was under a ten year warranty.

Overcharged for work not done. We had to hire someone else to do the job right and put the correct amount of Freon and oil as well as install a new compressor and filter.

Chas tried to patch a part that was clearly under warranty and excessively charged us, walked away and asked for additional money for work not completed. We have documentation from the new company we hired as to the condition the unit was left in as well as disputing charges with our bank. Also we were promised a refund by their technician that we did not get.

My experience with Chas Roberts was very positive from the telephone call to Karen with customer service to the HVAC tech who diagnosed the problem and walked me through the process of understanding what was going on before I paid.

The process was very smooth in setting up the service request and receiving immediate response which I was very impressed with.
