Dear Revdex.com,Please see the attached file documents for this customer's moveMs [redacted] opt'd to not use any packing supplies on the day of her move, as you will see attached, she signed the wrapping waiver and the receipts (Bill of Lading) show that no packing materials were usedUnfortunately, Master Movers is bound by the claims policy and procedures on handling the issue for this customerMs [redacted] stated that she was being charged $for property damage to her building however, you will see enclosed the letter from the apartment complex that states they were able to fix the issue and just wanted to make her aware of the issue they foundWe do apologize for any inconvenience that was caused to the customer on or after the day of her moveWe thank the Revdex.com for assisting to resolve the customers issue however, we had to respectfully deny the claim.Sincerely,Customer Service

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Enclosed are documents relating to my complaint against Master MoversI have highlighted important things on each document.Master Movers had started that all their crew members were employees and they were a national company with facilities throughout the USA at the time of their quotationHowever, in an email, the customer service states that only the administration staff are employees and the drivers/loaders are subcontractors.Master Movers did not handle our shipment from the origin to the destination as they statedThey brokered the shipment out to unprofessional people who made me sign receipt of all items before shipment was offloaded.I filed a claim which is enclosed and calculated cents per lbMaster Movers have indicated that they will only pay for one desk (two desks were destroyed) and two endtablesThey are refusing to pay for the other damaged items and missing itemsPlease note the several inventory line items that are unmarked as received as well as the items marked damaged.Master Movers lied about their company operations and provided documentation/ads to support heir falsehoods.My inventory of damaged goods totaling $plus the wall damage of $should be accepted because of the damage and their misrepresentationAnd they should be reprimanded for their advertising falsehoods.Please help settle this claim with Master Movers.Thank you Sincerely, [redacted] tele: [redacted] e [redacted] @gmail.com

Dear Revdex.com,Please see the copies of the moving documents from the day of Mrand Mrs***'s moveThe non-binding estimate given was suggested for movers and hrs + hours for packing and for the second stop needed, however the customer only wanted movers and about hrs in totalYou will see that the foreman on the job made a hand written note of the events that occured on the move, stating that when he arrived he expressed to Mrs [redacted] that the move would be longer than the estimated timeframe at which time she called Mr***Mr [redacted] then explained to our foreman that he rented a U-haul truck and purchased packing materials to be used by his wifeHe told the foreman that he only wanted one trip and they would not be going to the storage unit as previously plannedThe foreman actually spoke to Mr [redacted] again during the move informing him that the dresser could not be moved with the breakable items in it and that they needed to be removed and properly protectedHe again stated that he did not want the crew to pack anything and his wife would be handling thisDue to the drawers not being emptied they were removed from the dresser and the dresser was padded and placed on the truck which was fullDue to the customer only wanting one trip the movers could only take what would fit on the truckMr [redacted] was in control of the move and directed the crew in what he wanted doneMaster Movers does feel that the customers own words at the end of the move show alot as to what took place and in going with what was stated, it showed that the 3rd man was not available to work toward the end of the move thus the comment reflected "not being able to help the other crew members re-assemble the furniture"It was clear that since Mr [redacted] rented a truck he and his wife understood this move was much larger than what we were being contracted for and they directed the crew to do what they needed them to doWhen the information was given to us regarding the mover who was injured and not able to complete the move with his crew the customer was given a credit for those hours as well as an offer to send a crew back out to them to complete anything they felt needed to be done at the original price per hourThis offer was declinedMaster Movers was denied the opportunity to make the situation right for the customer and now is being asked to return half of what the cost of the move was, which we feel is not reasonableWe appreciate the Revdex.com's assistance in resolving the customers issues, however we feel that Master Movers did as the customer wanted and compensated for the issues presented.Thank you,Customer Service

Dear Revdex.com,This cusotmers original documents from the delivery date have not made it into the office as of yetWhen drivers are out on the road sometimes they are not in the home state for a couple of weeksAs soon as the original documents come into the office, the account will be gone over and any credits or adjustments that are authorized will be issued at that timeThen the billing department will issue a receipt to show that the issue has been completed via email to the customer's email we have on file.Once we receive the claim it will also be processed accordingly.Thank you,Customer Service

Dear Revdex.com,Ms [redacted] hired Master Movers to move approximantely items, with an additional stop and flights of stairs / elevator use at the destinationUpon arrival to the home the foreman did find that there was more items than originally estimatedThe given timeframe was 7am-1pm, customer was given a courtesy window of 9am - 11am, our arrival times are not guaranteedMs [redacted] called on the day of the move to say that the movers were not moving fast enough and they were not going to be able to go to the 2nd stopWith a non-binding estimate you are given a requested amount of time per the customers request with the explanation that if you go over you will be charged in minute incrementsPer the notes in the account Ms [redacted] or her mother called in"received phone call from customer cussing and yelling saying that the movers have been there over hrs and have hardly moved anything, she said the movers are going to have to take all her moms things to her house instead of her mothers and now she has to figure out a way to move these things all by herselfI told her I needed to transfer to dispatch and she screamed and yelled and cussed at me saying no because the dispatch doesn't listen to her and she can not understand what they are sayingI finally got her to agree to put on hold, I sent to dispatch, Before that I tried to explain the due to the stairs even though there were elevators the move would more than likely take longer thank hours but she disagreed saying they both had elevatorsNow she is upset the move is going to go over." The recommendation for a move this size per page of the estimate (see attached) shows that it needs movers for anywhere from 2-hrsWith the additional stop and the floor destination this move was definitely going to go over than what the customer requestedDue to the customer using the estimate timeframe and going over an hour, the supervisor stated if she wanted an additional truck we can send one however it would be at an additional cost as we completed the estimate timeframe she allowedPer the dispatcher he spoke to the customer on the day of the move and ensured that he would speak to the foreman which he did and the foreman stated that they were moving as fast as possible and with the use of the elevators there was wait time as other residents were using itWe do apologize for any inconvenience that was caused to the customer on the day of the move, however the supervisor did not find that any refund is due to the customer Thank you again to the Revdex.com for assisting in resolving the customers issues.Sincerely,Customer Service

Dear Revdex.com, Per the Supervisor he expressed to Mr [redacted] on one of their previous phone calls that the shipment would be running late, utilizing the days timeframeUnfortunately, in the trucking industry there are delays and we are working diligently to get the shipment moving to Mr [redacted] It was expressed to Mr [redacted] that compensation for his late delivery will be issued as soon as the moving documents are received back in the office We understand that the delivery not being made in a timely manner is creating a hardship on the customer and we most definitely apologize, however we are working diligently to get the shipment confirmed on the road for him with an ETA for deliveryWe do expect to have this for him asap Thank you, Customer Service

Dear Revdex.com,Mrs [redacted] shipment for her daughter was picked up on 6/17/Per the estimate given we were asked to come get items and on the day of the move there were more items of which the customer's daughter agreed to have added and they totaled Mrs [redacted] daughter was given the option to either revise her estimate (with a revised written estimate) or not take the additional itemsMrs [redacted] daughter signed off on the revised written estimate approval of the addtional items to be taken and the additional charges for that servicePer the customers request we sent copies of all moving documents signed so that they could review what was agreed upon and how many items were actually loadedMr [redacted] has had a very lengthy conversation with our supervisor and the offer was made that the customer can pay for the work that was performed on the pick up which includes the hours of moving items and the packing supplies and come get their items should they chooseThe customer chose a Non-Express delivery which states that the company has 5-business days to get her delivered and should they choose to have it come on an Express or Direct delivery that includes additional feesThe options have been given to the customer and we are awaiting for their decision as to what they would like to doWe as always thank the Revdex.com for assisting in resolving this issue.Sincerely,Master Movers

Dear Revdex.com,Mr***'s move was in a troubled area for us and an agreement was met in which the customer chose to come pick up his shipments (since he was going to be in Indiana)This agreement also involved a revising of the charges for only the work that had been done (pick up / packing) which left a credit on his account to be issuedUnfortunately the supervisor who approves all refunds was in and out of the office a lot last weekHowever, now that it has been confirmed by the customer which credit card he wants the refund to be placed on the billing department will issue the credit promptly The news of the customer feeling he needed to file a compliant with the Revdex.com has also been sent to the supervisorWe will get the refund issued as soon as possibleAgain, we thank the Revdex.com for assisting in resolving the customers issuesSincerely,Master Movers
