We had him paint a large MBR suite with a 14 ft ceiling, 40 feet of hallway and a split 15 step staircase with an open ceiling and the stairway railing spindles. The results look fantastic. Highly recommended!

We hired Edwin C[redacted] and his crew to paint the exterior of our church in Midlothian, VA. He exceeded all of our expectations. He had to scrape, replace rotten wood, replace old caulking and paint. Everything was completed to the highest standards. I would not hesitate to recommend Chavez Painting.

We have an older home (built in 1974) with masonite siding and some of the boards had started to rot and we needed these to be replaced. We also noticed that some of the wood trim our house needed paint. We used Chavez Painting Services very recently and have been quite happy with the outcome. At first, we were concerned that the job might be too small for them but we contacted Mr. Chavez because we had seen his work at another home in our neighborhood. During the initial estimate, Mr. Chavez pointed out the exact number of boards that required attention and quoted us on the carpentry and paint work required. His estimate was spot-on... no runaway costs or unexpected expenses. His staff was excellent too. They worked at our house for three days and each day they cleaned the work site. They were friendly and professional. The work they did was excellent. The new boards appear as if they have always been there and they matched the paint perfectly. The trim was sanded, primed, and painted with two coats and looks great. Lastly, we asked them to re-screen our back porch and replace some rotten wood. They removed the old screen and replaced it and also replaced the damaged wood with PVC strips (that will never rot) and painted them to match. The 42 year old porch is now like new. When our whole house needs to be painted in several years, we will be calling Chavez Painting to do the job for us. I have already recommended them to a co-worker who needs similar services.

We have had interior and exterior painting done by Chavez painting. Their prep work is second to none and the finished product is great! We also had some carpentry work done which turned out better than we had envisioned. The crew was very professional and cleaned up thoroughly after each days work.

Although the start date was delayed due to weather, we were notified and kept up to date on the schedule. We were highly impressed with the knowledge of the install and carpentry involved in replacing our rotten siding boards (100), brick moldings, 1x1 and window sill noses. Everything was done to the level that my husband wanted it and knew the proper installation process. They even used the same caulk my husband would use on the job --- not the cheap kind! The crew cleaned up after themselves each day prior to leaving.

Chavez Painting painted our house and garage about 7 years ago and we were were due for fresh painting. The painters were at the house at 7:30 am the first day and worked diligently. Edwin C[redacted] suggested we replaced some cedar siding that was cracked and add shutters which we did not have at the time. We also had the front porch stained mahogany which looks great! With the new paint and shutters, it looked like a brand new house.(the house is 30 Years old). Each of the painters worked very hard and were polite and used the best possible paint and stain for the house. I would use Chavez Painting again when we are ready to reprint again.

This included (1)replacing the wood floor of our outdoor deck with composite deck materials, (2) repairing the existing deck railing, (3) power washing the house, including hand washing the windows and gutters, and (4) painting the interior rooms of our house, including repairing nail holes and settlement cracks. In all of these projects, [redacted] and his team exceeded our expectations. By appearance, we practically have a new house! Review: Chavez Painting painted the exterior of our home in 2012. Two of the boards in the back of the house have bubbled and filled with water. I called three times and on the third call I was able to set up an appointment to have them come look at the boards. They didn't show up on the agreed date and I have left another message and have not had a returned call for a week now.Desired Settlement: We would like the two boards painted again and we would like them to show up at the scheduled time.
