Cheap & Fast Divorce Reviews (48)

Review: On March [redacted] 2013 I went to www.cheapandfastdivorce.com and they took $734 out of my debit account. They told me I was paying for court procedural process and support. They sent me paperwork but never helped me with the procedural. Everytime I tried to call them and talk to a manager I was told they weren't in and they would give the manager the message and a manager would call me back. A manager never called back. We got our bank to review the fraud fees and the divorce place magically made paperwork up stating we used their services. We tried to get our money back through our bank and two months after we did the bank reversed the payment because of the paperwork the divorce place gave them. The divorce place keeps telling us we are making up stories and hanging up on us. They aren't not helpful and are just a fraudulant service. We want our money back and now we're out $734 because of there so called "paper work" they have that we never were even shown.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. We are not happy with the services provided and they falsely gave us information stating they would help up with procedural support and was not given. They give you the run around when they say that you want your money back.

Sincerely,

Review: I contacted this company to file my divorce and I paid them the amount requested the same day. Did not hear anything in return for two weeks. I called, they told me that someone would be in touch with me that same day. No one called. I called again the next day and the same thing happened. When they finally returned my call after I had called another three times, they told me they would send papers that I needed to sign. And I should notify my bank. They requested information pertaining to my bank account and annual salary. They also requested information about other people in my household and their salaries, etc. I don't think this is relative to the divorce since my wife and I have no property or children to split or share between us. I told them I wanted to cancel because I Think it's a scam and they have been trying to convince me not to. They sent more paperwork for me to fill out, but it wasn't official government documents. I think this company is a scam. I have no desire to continue business with this company. I need my money back, they told me I can't get my money back. I have to continue or just stop contacting the company. The man I spoke to, [redacted], claimed to be a manager.Desired Settlement: Money returned in full.

Sincerely,

Review: I called cheap and fast divorce and spoke to a gentleman by the name of [redacted]. He agreed to take my case for 599.00. My card was then charged for 744.00. I called back and said they would refund 94.00. The customer service was very rude. They would not let me speak to [redacted] again and passed me off to [redacted]. [redacted] was very argumentative. After this conversation and decided that I did not want to use there services. I called back to cancel again [redacted] was very rude. I offer to make a deal and not use there services if he would just refund me an additional $200. His company would be making $450 for doing absolutely nothing. I think this was more than fair. I called back the next day to confirm the conversation. I asked to speak to [redacted] and I was told he was unavailable. I was told my case was close and the only refund I would receive was 94.00. I was then hung up on. I called back three times to be hung up on each time. I then called from another number and did talk to [redacted]. He stated he made not such deal with me. I can not believe a company can operate like this.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $744.00. I was willing to take $294.00.

Response:

The woman hired our service, signed a contract that specified what the service was and is still able to receive any support she requires

She made a false claim about pricing even though she signed to the 744 price. To keep her happy we refunded her 94. She called asking for another 200 and we refused since there was no basis to give her back additional money on a price that was fully disclosed. We provide 90 days over the phone support and she can pick up the phone and receive that . We are not sure why she is unhappy.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I spoke to [redacted] on 10/*/2013 after him arguing with me for about 10 minutes. He agreed to refund me an additional $200.00 due to the fact that I no longer wanted to use his services. He agreed that since his firm would not have to provide me with services that would be acceptable. When I called back the next day to confirm the lady that answered the phone would not let me talk to [redacted] or [redacted]. I was hung up on. When I called back I was hung up about another two times. I called from another number and gave a different name. I was then connected with [redacted]. [redacted] stated he did not agree to the $200 and hung up on me. I was also told my case was closed. After the service I received why would I want to use their services?

Review: I CALLED CHEAP AN FAST DIVORCE THEY SAID IT WOULD COST ME 199 AND THEY WOULD SEND ME A EMAIL I GOT THE EMAIL AND THE PRICE WAS 644 I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID NO REFUNDS THIS WAS 5 MIN AFTER I GOT THE E MAILDesired Settlement: THEY SHOULD REFUND THE CHARGES

Review: On Dec* 2013 I contacted this company by phone enquiring about their services. I was told that they cannot elaborate unless I sign and fax a credit card payment form to them. I specifically asked the rep saying I have a few questions and I do not want to proceed unless my questions are answered and whether this is possible the rep said after the payment form is signed we can talk details So I faxed a form back on Dec ** 2013 called the Company and another rep [redacted] said she asked me a few questions my address my name and then she told me that they cannot help me as a minor was involved so I told her What is the point of proceeding any further and that to close my case. She threatened me and said that this is not possible and a male will be in touch with me .The man [redacted] called me and said that I cannot cancel and they will charge my credit card and only think I can do is put it on hold or pay 200 dollars more for something else. I refused and he faxed me a form asked me to sign put on hold I FELT VIOLATED HARRASSED BY THEN WHOLE EPISIODE WAS IN 24 HOURS. I called my credit card company explained my situation and as no services were received only 4 phone calls of warnings they said they will stop Payment. On Feb ** credit card company said they produced documents of me signing that form of payment and saying that services were completed by this company and they have to be paid. They forged dates on my document to be placed on hold took out my notes submitted to credit card company and summarized that I should be arrested by local police for fraud and getting services for freeDesired Settlement: The approach of the company doing business by misguiding the customer by wrong fees, not checking whether the customer is a right candidate, faxing forms before even interviewing candidate and taking payment and stating on the form that services were received and the customer is very satisfied and will not proceed to complaint against this company even before any services are rendered. I called them when I received this fax and told her How can I sign a form which is completely contradictory to what I am sdigning and she said do not worry that is a standard form and that I will be fine and everything will be taken care of.

Sincerely,

Review: I contacted this "company" on January **, 2014. They told me they could help me by doing a 1 signature divorce. They are not lawyers, and just send you paper work, for you to do yourself. Mistakenly, I believed this nonsense and gave them my debit card information, and my social security number. Immediately realizing I made a huge mistake, I contacted my bank to dispute the charge. This is in process right now. I spoke to [redacted] and 2 different women on the phone. They are not going to issue a refund, but I am NOT using their services. It is NOT acceptable that they are keeping my money - $719.00, and I am not using them. This was a huge mistake and I am unsure if it can be rectified after my giving them all my information. Please, if there is anything you can do to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I just want to get my money back, as I had to hire a real lawyer, at a much lower price, that has already started the proceedings. It seems impossible, but if there is anything that can be done, that would be amazing. Thank you.

Review: On September **, 2013 I made a phone call to cheap and fast divorce and spoke with a gentleman named [redacted] about pursuing a divorce. He began talking about how cheap their services are and that other local lawyers would charge a lot more then they do. So I began to ask a few questions about their services and he took my credit card information within five minutes of our phone call. I was then informed that there would be an email sent to my email account with the guarantee confirmation and all I had to do was initial and sign the document and scan and email back to them. Well the price that was quoted to me was $599.99 plus tax. When I got the email, it had my billing information on it with a price for $744.00. So I then immediately check my bank account as well and saw that it was charged for that same amount of $744.00 as a pending charge. I then called back to dispute that charge but the sales representative misinformed me about the administrative fees that he did not mention. I called for several hours, constantly being transferred to somebody else, please hold, and even was hung up on. I then called my bank USAA federal savings and they as well called them and they did the same thing by constantly putting them on hold and hung up on them. I then called back trying to cancel with their services as I felt very uncomfortable with this business and they are very rude and unethical with customer support and just kept giving me the run around. The administrator told me that they were then willing to remove the filling fees but would not grant my full refund for the amount of $744.00. The one document that they did send me telling me to initial and sign was never filled out nor sent back to them. I feel like I'm owed a full refund due to their inconsistency with their sales. I also did not feel comfortable with this business minutes after our five minute conversation. I have even tried to speak with the manager but was always told he was either on the phone or he will give you a call back. No phone received regarding this matter.Desired Settlement: I think honesty is the key success when operating a business dealing with customer support. Misleading information and trying to hide charges will not get you anywhere. When a customer begins to feel uncomfortable with you and is asking to get a full refund, you shouldn't tell somebody "Well you are not getting your money back, you paid over the telephone and verbally agreed to the charges." I think this business needs to give me my full refund back and just move on.

Review: I contacted Cheap and Fast Divorce late one night about Beginning to file for separation papers with my husband. That night, I was told that I would have to put a down payment of $200.00 down and that the total I would pay is $499.00 [redacted] was very clear about that (that is all the money I had). I agreed. He took my credit card number, my name and address and said that he would be in contact later. The total $499.00 was not to be paid until the papers were signed and filed. The next day, I called them because they did not send me the confirmation email they promised. They had the "wrong e-mail address". I gave them the correct one, they still did not send it to me! They claim that I simply "did not check my e-mail". Which I did, Spam as well as regular. I called them again, and asked to cancel because I no longer wished to file separation papers and I felt uncomfortable with them because they did not send me that email. They told me that I was not allowed to cancel, I could only put it on hold. I said fine, do that then...I DO NOT WANT IT! Later, an amount of $200 came out of my account, and then right next to it, another $419!! I called, they would not let me talk to a manager. I filed a dispute with my bank. I filled out all the paperwork, and talked to them, and trusted them to fix it. a few months later I get a call looking for more information. I called them 4 times and left messages! They called me back 3 times, and also left messages, abut whenever I called back, they were not there. So they dropped my claim. [redacted] from cheap and fast divorce claimed that he had proof that I received services. That "proof" turned out to be that their computer documented that they sent out an email. That was it! Not [proof that I received ANYTHING. They don't even know my husband's name! Once when I called, some lady told me that it was too late, I was divorced which I know isn't true because I have children, and you have to be separated for at least 1 year before you can file for divorce in the state of Virginia.Desired Settlement: I understand if I am out the $200 down payment. That was stupidity on my part and something I agreed to. They other $419 was stealing! I would like that money back!
