After contacting AutoNation on Thursday, September 24th about a particular Jeep Wrangler that I wanted to purchase, I told the salesman that their email offer was the one I had selected over four other dealersHe stated that was great and that we definitely had a dealHe was going to be away from work for some training on Friday and we agreed to meet on Saturday to take care of the paperwork and make the transferHe emphatically stated that 'He had the keys to my Jeep and would lock them in his desk for safekeeping." I did think he made a generous offer to have someone drive to Casa Grande to pick me up as I had to make other arrangements to get to Phoenix Late Friday evening, I received a phone call stating that "Someone had gotten into his desk, taken the keys, and my Jeep had been sold"All of this was a great mystery to him as to how this could have happenedHe said he wanted to make this right and would get a Jeep that I had been considering at another dealer and would get back with meI waited two more days before calling for an update and was then told that "That Jeep had been sold, but if necessary, he would get one from Las Vegas and have it sent to Phoenix." After not hearing once again for a couple of days, I called and found out that "All of those Jeeps had been sold and one in San Diego, and they couldn't help me" Foolishly, since I had made a firm commitment with the salesman early on, I had sold my current vehicle to a neighbor for cash and was without transportation nowWhile not particularly rude, it was plain to see that they no longer cared for my business nor the deal we had both agreed toAgain this was discussed about "How someone had gotten into his desk and taken the keys and they had no idea who this was"While I have no proof, it became very apparent that some customer had come in on Friday and was willing to pay a higher price than what I had agreed to and left with my JeepThis had to be a conscious business decision rather than some accident of not knowingThe more we talked about what all they were going to do, the more apparent it became to me that I was being told whatever they felt would get me satisfied, while they had no intention of honoring the deal we had madeAfter that, I started working with a different dealer and wound up ordering a new Jeep to be built and sent to ArizonaThis will take six to eight weeks and has caused me to have to rent a car for that period at my expenseI was wrong to have sold mine before theirs was in my garage, but where I came from, a deal has been reached when two parties make a verbal commitment to honor the conditions While there is no resolution to my situation that AutoNation can provide, I do want to add my great displeasure to what I am reading about a number of other customers that have been way less than satisfied with doing business with themI am being generous when I rate my selection as a Zero for recommending this business to friends as I am not allowed to give negative numbersI was very surprised when I looked on the Revdex.com site and found this business to have a rating of D+ for customer satisfaction, but now I can fully understand why

Recently I tried to purchase a vehicle with Auto Nation DodgeDue to lack of financing, the deal fell throughAuto Nation requested that I return the carThe car was returned promptly and I was told that if they came to a conclusion, they would contact me so that I can come back to pick up the carOn 12/20/2014, I received a letter in the mail stating that a claim had been received by [redacted] against me, from Auto NationIt stated that I had been in an accident I had not been in an accidentThey stated that the vehicle had body damage The body damage that they are referring to was never mentioned to me, nor was I ever contacted by Auto Nation about any issuesThe car was returned on 12/11/at Auto Nation's request, due to lack of financing! The representative came outside with me, took the keys, circled the vehicle multiple times, made sure I had everything out of the vehicle, and removed my temporary license plateHe shook my hand and sent me on my way The claim sent by [redacted] states that the "so called" damage took place on the 11th of DecemberThey didn't report anything to [redacted] until the 16thThe car was sitting on their lot for days before they decided to report anythingI nor [redacted] should be liable for anything that may have happened on their lot during that timeI have attempted to contact Auto Nation, with no successNo call has been returned On another note, Auto Nation seems very disgruntledRecently they attempted to sell me a carThey purchased my Dodge Stratus from my finance company, put everything in their name, and sold my previous car in an auctionAfter they did this, the company that was going to pick up the loan (Dodge Dart) decided to back outAt this point, they had already purchased my car and had to eat $I was left without a vehicleThey called the finance company for my I traded in and stated that I decided to return the car because I didn't like it anymore and changed my mindThey then tried to have the finance company return their money (for a car they sold) and reopen my loanWhen they saw that this was a long shot, now a claim has been received by [redacted] for "Body Damage." I don't know what the total "damages" are, but wouldn't be surprised if they totaled $I am going to call the corporate office of Auto Nation in [redacted] to file a complaintI find it disrespectful that they would try these various attemptsI won't be paying for any "Damages," nor should *** DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM AUTONATION!!!!!!!

There is no way to prove that the damage to his mirror happened at the dealership There is no way to prove it did'nt happen at the dealership My offer stands, and it expires 01/31/

I have purchased vehicles now at this dealership AutoNationI came in to trade my dodge dart in for a newer truckI also told them before we looked that my car was at the body shop and that I wanted to trade in the car as is! so we came to an agreement and I signed the papers and drove the truck home approximately on 5/15/They then called me back and had me resign for more money down and a higher payment which I signed and did so I could keep the deal rollingthis day is 5/20/i also towed the trade in on 5/20/i have the acceptance letter from bank of the west and I have made my first payment of On approximately 6/4/i received text messages from [redacted] stating that they are putting the lean back onto my dartand that I will be responsible for either fixing the dart or payments on the dart when that is not what we agreed onalso now trying to send a repo man out to get MY TRUCK that I have already put a down on and paid the HIGHER payment that we agreed on of I am also receiving threaten texts messages from the manager(GSM) [redacted] that I have proof of on my phone

Worst company to deal with Employees and talk back to customers if you complain they say without a name they can't do anything If there is anything wrong with the vehicle if you buy used and you report it before you own it for a week they tell you well you bought it so it's your problem They don't acuratly put the correct mileage on the paper work when they sell it

Mr [redacted] is attempting to get his car repurchased from Chrysler under the lemon law He is a very hostile person and he was the person who assaulted one of my employees We have tried to help resolve his issues as best as we can but at this time the manufacturer must step in and resolve this issue

I recently bought a Dodge Grand Caravan from AutoNationThe sales person, [redacted] , was a great help at firstBut this is a fast food service car dealershipNo sooner where we there then she would leave and then show up againAnyhow, I don't think they ever checked out the vehicle and I had to take it to the dealer in Prescott for warranty service as AutoNation did nothing for the two warranty items and the replacement of the upper consoleI realized on the way home it was missing the antenna and the wipers were needing to be replacedI had already complained about the tires but they would do nothingI did get a great deal on the vehicle but I would never recommend this dealershipI have not received my plates yet or the registration but as soon as I do I will be totally done with these guysI bought an extended Chrysler warranty since I don't know what went on with the vehicle in the 16,miles it had when I bough it This is the McDonalds of fast service and poor customer care Once again I will complement Trisha for her help but that is the extent of my positive review of this place

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10403294, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. That option was already offered to me when I contacted the dealership the day after I brought the truck home and discovered that the mirror was broken I have already rejected that offer Regards, [redacted]

I went to this dealer to trade in my cadillac ctsv for a truck so I could buy a 5th wheel camper the salesman shows me the manual that says the truck will tow 17k lbs I finally buy a 5th wheel and come to find out the tow capacity was only 12k and I can't tow my 5th wheel They will sell anything to get a dealextremely unprofessional!

I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to the AutoNation’s service department on May 26, to have my front driver seat fixedI also wanted to receive one of my free oil changesKevin the service advisor requested a tire rotation which I also agreed to have doneI told Kevin my service advisor that my Jeep was under extended warrantee for the seat issueWhen I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee I purchased multiple warrantees to cover the Jeep Grand Cherokee form “bumper to bumper”In fact, the financial advisor who sold me the service contracts shared with me that if I had any problems with the leather seats including rips, ink marks, wholes, or electrical parts that my warrantee would cover the fixing of the issue of even replacing the whole seat if needed But I found out over the phone today, according to my service advisor Kevin, the broken front seat was NOT covered under the extended warrantee contract since the issue was a broken partTherefore either Kevin or the financial advisor who sold me the contract was not telling the truthEither way over the phone I told Kevin to cancel ALL requested work except for the free oil changeI decided I did not want to do business with an unethical company who would sell me a $45,dollar SUV plus extended warrantees and “not honor” their agreement! I asked Kevin to send the shuttle to pick me up at home right away so that I could get my Jeep Grand CherokeeAfter ½ hours I called back because the shuttle driver had not arrivedKevin shared that the driver was in Black Canyon City I cancelled the request and had a friend drive me to AutoNation to pimy JeepWhen I arrive and went to sign the paperwork there was a charge on the invoice for tire rotationKevin said the service department did the tire rotation before I calledKevin did remove the charge from the invoice The cashier said my car would be outside the waiting room doorsIt was not outside the doors at the piarea but in the back of the buildingI walked to the back of the building to retrieve my carAs I got into my Jeep I notice that they did not wash it as stated they would do with the oil change I plan on taking my Jeep Grand Cherokee to another ethical dealership to have my front seat fixed and to receive better customer serviceMy advice to anyone reading this letter on all the social media sites I’m posting this information, is do not do business at AutoNation in Phoenix, Arizona!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted]

I bought a brand new Dodge Ram years ago along with an oil change package It was not disclosed to me that the oil change package would expire and when I went in for my first routine oil change off the warranty, I was told not to come in till my truck reached 10,miles I use my work truck daily and have not put that many miles on the Dodge Ram I brought my truck in for its first oil change using the package and was told I have months until the rest of my oil changes expire I've only put miles on the truck and have been told that I will lose the rest of the oil changes when the expiration date comes around I pleaded my case to no avail and was told after they expire they can offer to sell me another oil change package, and that's it I paid top dollar for the truck, they got my money and have dropped their customer service completely All I want is to be able to use the oil changes that I paid for, when I need them

Unfortunatly after months of ownership it is impossible to dertermine the exact cause of a bubble in a tire No dealerships would be responsible for tires that long after the unit soldI would be more than willing to extend dealer cost on the replacement of or all of the tires on the truck, but not a refund

We have had a discussion with a disgruntle employee, she would not listen to our issue which was that we never received our new plate for a vehicle we purchased back in AugustNever got to speak to a human always left messages for the entire dayWe did receive a call from some woman in financing and was VERY rude from the get goWe will never recommend Autonation NorthWe had great service while we were there when we purchased the vehicle, Bruce was very helpful and we tried to reach him as well and got no answersThank You David V*** ***

The worst auto dealer service department I have ever experienced, they could not even find me in the computer system after initial visit and order for part on Jeep Grand CherokeeTerrible Service Department !

I am making a formal complaint against an employee named JordanUnfortunately, no one will give me his last nameHe works in sales and possibly as a receptionistOn Friday evening, April 15th, my boyfriend and I went to Autonation to test drive a Dodge DurangoWe test drove with a salesman named Gor and once we were done he introduced us to JordanThe four of us sat down to talk and my boyfriend and I told Jordan several times that we wanted to sell our current vehicle and buy the Durango, we would not be trading in our current vehicle at allWe also couldn't stay long that nightJordan starting in with the pressure right off of the bat, stating they want to buy our vehicle because it's in demandAgain, we told him we weren't ready and needed to leave, and said he would give us $15,for our carMy boyfriend said we were looking for $16,Jordan said that would be fine and they would take a look at the car and buy it for $16,but only if we did this nowI told him again that we couldn't stay and asked if they could give us a moment to talkAfter a few minutes we went back to Gor and told him that we had to go, but I would come back to see him on Saturday, which I did without my boyfriend this timeI did bring my sonI test drive the Durango one more time and told Gor that I wanted to buy itHe worked up the numbers, but it was with us trading in our current vehicleI reminded him that we were selling our vehicle and buying a new one, no tradingHe went back to his manager and the numbers on the purchase of my vehicle completely changedInstead of giving us $16,like we were told by Jordan, we were only going to get $12,They were going to charge $for new tires, which I only needed to get two new tires, and charge $for the two key scratches, which is completely outrageousGor had his sales manager come over (which no one wants to provide his name to me again), he kept working up numbers as if I was doing a tradeI said multiple times that I don't want to do a trade in and no one was listeningInstead, the sales manager started getting irritate with me and told me he can't buy my car and then sell my carI told him that I called up to the dealership a few times and was told that I can sell my car and then buy another one, which would be two separate transactionsAgain, I'm having to say this same phrase several timesThe manager then told me that I either take the $12,or leave because they won't do a deal with me at all and walked awayI was shocked and very upset that the everything changed from the night beforeThe manager found Jordan and had him come over to our table, with his sunglasses hanging on the back of his head and a cigarette behind his earI asked him why he told me and my boyfriend that they would buy my current vehicle for $16,and he immediately denied that and said he only said that to get them to look at the vehicleHe accused me of making him leave the table, when we asked if they could give us a moment to talkHe said he never worked up an order to by my car at $16,500, which is true, because he just wrote all of our info on a piece of paper and getting irritated that we didn't want to sell our vehicle that momentHe told me that my car isn't worth $16,and that I either take the $12,or leaveHe then told me that he only said he would give me $16,just so they could look at my vehicle and that would be for a trade in onlyI repeated myself multiple times that I'm not trading in my vehicleJordan then asked me if I did any research on how much my car is worth and started talking down to me even moreI told Jordan to stop talking to me like that and he wouldn't, it just kept getting worseI told him that I did my research and my car is worth $17,to $19,per KBBJordan scoffed and said that's ridiculousI told my son it's time to leaveJordan asked why I wouldn't let him finish talking and I told him that he's not listening to me and not letting me get a word in edgewise, that I have repeated myself multiple times that I wanted to sell my vehicle and buy a new one, and that I was very upset that the numbers have changed and don't appreciate being lied tooI leaned over to get my purse and Jordan proceeded to try to give me a science lesson on angerJordan told me that when you're angry the oxygen doesn't run to your brain and that I'm letting that happened and I'm not thinking straightHe also stood up when I stood up and got closer to my faceI was absolutely appalled and told him to get out of my face and to never talk to me like that againI grabbed my son, apologized to Gor that Gor's manger and Jordan both cost him a saleEven my son had to tell Jordan to back off because he wouldn't listen to me or stop I have never been treated like this from a sales person everI truly believe that since my boyfriend wasn't with me and that I'm a woman, the entire story changedI believe Jordan needs to be fired or take anger management classes, because clearly when things aren't going his way, this is the outcome

I bought cars in Oct from Autonation Dodge in Phoenix, AZI purchased their EVTS system on both cars and a warranty on anotherAfter finding out I had Onstar (superior to EVTS) I canceled it on both car on Nov7, I also canceled the warranty on one car due to use changeI have asked various people of all levels at the dealership why my account has not been credited multiple timesEach time I am told that its on its wayI have even emailed the GM, Mr***I get the same run aroundMr*** seems to be more interested in blaming Chrysler or anyone else for the problemsI have bought multiple vehicles from this dealership since Their customer service is the worstThey ignore you you in the service area, I guess in hopes that you will just go awayTheir finance people or person have made comments to me that they now know were to steal nice cars (because they dont have EVTS)I also bought a "Certified pre-owned" truck from them in Novand it was less that "certified"On the way home from the dealer the wiper fluid light comes ondays later I bought fluid and as I am pouring it in, I notice that it is pouring out from underneathI then looked at the oil and it was black and dirtyI would never buy another vehicle from this dealer or any Autonation dealership as it seems their committment has changed! Buyer beware!
As of today, I have not recieved account credit for the above cars bought in Oct The amount owed in over $If I owed the dealership over $4000.00, would they wait for their money?
Mr***, the GM, seems to be more interested in saving face of his dealership then correcting major problems that force loyal customers to leave and NEVER return

Vehicle purchased Nov 19, We were there from 8:30am to almost 4:30pm It was by far the worst experience that we have ever had The purchase of a new vehicle should be an exciting and great experience We saw the ad for the particular truck on Carguru.com We called first thing when they opened We spoke to Don Seefried, the car salesperson He had the truck pulled out and ready for us to come and see The truck is a Dodge Ram Express Crew Cab 4xfor $26,with 8,miles on it From the start things did not seem kosher We stuck it out as he wanted this truck During the test drive we were told by Don that there was no wiggle room on the cost of the truck It was a no haggle price We asked him if there were any dealer add-onsHe said no other than the certified pre-owned warranty fee which he said was $ He said we could potentially haggle that cost After a month of talking to dealerships we knew what to ask When we got back to the dealership from the test drive we noticed the sticker in the window said instead of We asked why He had no idea Once in the building it was discovered that when the vehicle was checked in after arriving to the dealership from auction it was not checked in correctly When checked in it was checked in with 28,miles not the 8,it currently had This did not go over well with the sales manager Don brought out a sales menu that detailed the cost of the vehicle The $26,went to $32,before tax and dealer fees It included vehicle price of $26,991.00, Certified Pre-owned warranty $1,495.00, Window Tint $with the aof the lift kit and tire and wheel package we were adding of $5, After sales tax, doc fee, air quality fee, title fee, license fee, postage, and a tire fee the total was $37, We asked Don why he didn’t tell us about the tint cost We noticed while Don left to talk to the sales desk that the Carfax said the vehicle had 28,miles when checked into Autonation and before the vehicle was purchased in Las Vegas, Nevada, the original dealership added the window tint We asked why we were being charged for window tint if they were not the ones who added the tint The response was that is their fee to warranty it We also pointed out the Carfax mileage being incorrect and demanded it be fixed before we left Per the hints of Don it was clear the sales manager was upset at the sale price of the truck due to the incorrect date on the sticker of the truck and the mileage At that point none of the fees were negotiable We were not happy but we moved on We noticed the original sales menu as described above was incorrect in regards to the description of the truck He had that corrected We also had him take off the Service department labor so we could pay that out of pocket The reason you ask The service department does not tax the labor However by us adding it to the financing the dealership was going to charge us tax The numbers were just not adding up We were pointing everything out to them and having them change it He came back with another sales menu The description of the vehicle was corrected and the labor fee was removed, which lowered the tax They also changed the tint cost to $ The new total was $36, We moved on We had already been preapproved threw our bank for 2.74% interest rate on an auto loan They wanted us to finance through them still using our bank Don says he was asking us a favor to do so due to the fact that they lost money on vehicle because of the screw ups when checking it in the sticker price should have been more He said they wouldn’t make much off of the finance but it would be something I'm not really sure why we agreed let alone stayed to purchase the vehicle This is when we met Ronnie Wertz the finance manager He was apparently the one preparing the paperwork He came over to go over the other warranty options for before finalizing the paperwork for us to sign Mind you the vehicle was still under the factory warranty and because it was certified pre-owned it was also under a year/100,mile warranty He told us that we were not eligible for Gap insurance as the vehicle was basically new We figured that he knew what he was talking about He offered other warranties We said no He did the usual are you sure you never know what can happen once you leave our lot We said no it’s fine we do not want it That conversation took another minutes or so He left and sent Don back with other paperwork Ronnie was not happy with us It was very clear So unprofessional Don shows us the ADOT document for us to sign in order to register the vehicle We looked it over The vehicle cost was $more We asked why The sales manager even came out because we wanted it corrected His name was Joe His response was to ignore all of the information above as it was only the document for titling the vehicle We said all of the numbers should match He never answered the question why it was $more After a long conversation with no answers and no change in paperwork he convinced us to sign it and move on Again we should have just left The length of time it took him to convince us it didn’t need to be changed because it didn’t matter, he could have corrected the document Next came the contract Well it was wrong The mileage was wrong and the final total of the vehicle was $more We were not happy at all What is going on? Why couldn’t they make things match? It was finally told to us that the $was for a light rail tax Why was this not included in the sales menu as all other fees were? Why could you not have said that when we noticed the difference on the titling form? Weird! We were fighting the fee because it was not explained until we made an issue out of it We also wanted them to correct the mileage as it said 8,not 8, Don came back with about different contracts saying that the printer kept printing it out that way He said they tried different contracts and he even tried himself However there were other number 5’s all over that contract and none of them were printing out as 8’s Obviously something fishy was going on Again why did we keep going through the process with them? Why didn’t we just leave? He said that it will be correct on the other paperwork By this time we had been there for over hours We were tired and done with them We were in a terrible accident, which is why we were even having to go through this process We were hit by a semi at full force We were lucky to be alive and we were of course still dealing with the pain and other medical issues that came from this The time we spent at that dealership with the drama we had to endure was ridiculous Everyone knows humans make mistakes, but the extent of the mistakes that were made were past that point It’s one thing to make a mistake, recognize it and correct it, but they treated us as an inconvenience As though our requests were over board Any contract or document that should be signed in the purchase of the vehicle should be correct and all numbers should add up I do not believe that this is too much to ask for We finally were done with the process However, that was a Saturday and the next week was Thanksgiving weekend We had to wait for parts to come in for the lift kit and tire and wheel package At this point we would like to say how much we appreciate Joshua Winter, the parts advisor there He was amazing throughout this process We dropped the truck off on Monday, November at the service department to have the lift done and get the tires and wheels put on They were done days later We picked it up after 5:30pm on Wednesday, November We looked it overMind you it had a 4” lift put on it and it was night time We didn’t think we had to go over it with a fine tooth comb The next day we had work and physical therapy after The following day was Friday My fiancé took his truck to work and was able to look it over and actually be excited to have his new truck Well that faded quickly It appeared they took the truck through their car wash and the roof of the truck had two huge dents beginning at the windshield and scratching towards the back of the roof We took it in Saturday first thing to Maureen the woman who helped us She went to the manager and returned with in just a few minutes She said she told him what happened he didn’t even blink an eye and said they would fix it He didn’t even come out to look at it We scheduled to drop it off that Monday, December She called us throughout the process asking even if they could keep it one more day to make sure it was dry So my fiancé received the call that it was ready, Thursday, December We had physical therapy and were unable to pick it up till Friday She said that was perfect to give it an extra day to dry He went after work on Friday to pick up the truck The truck had a crack in the front bumper, fog light cracked, scratches down the side of truck on both sides, huge scratch on the bumper in the back, oh and the dents in the roof were still there My fiancé had Maureen get the manager, Eric Wentworth He was not happy about the damage They wanted my fiancé to drive off with the truck and return when they could fix it Absolutely crazy! Today is December we still have not heard anything I left a message on Eric’s cell phone and still have not heard back from him
