Bought a Dell laptop, it has many issues and have been calling Dell customer supportEach time, after lengthy hold, technician will work in it through remote accessThey could not fix the problem thoughI have spent more than hours on the phone

I have been waiting months for a response after months of negotiating with the Dell rep that my case has been escalated to in order to get my laptop repairedWhen I first purchased the laptop and took it out of the box, the laptop required a motherboard replacement before I could even use itAs an IT Manager who purchases hundreds of laptops every quarter, this is a very rare occurrenceRegardless, I contacted Dell since I have years warranty and they replaced the motherboard during business hours on a weekday so I had to take the day off without payThe laptop was put back together however I could tell that it wasn't done properly because it didn't look the same as before and the trackpad and keyboard were slanted or popping out needing to be pushed back inWhen I finally opened a 2nd call to have it replaced, I was told a technician was coming and received a call from the tech, however no one showed upI took a day off again without pay to have a tech not show upWhen I call

I purchased a refurbished all in one Desktop back in Sept I have bought Dell products for many many years and they have been great NOT the case now Within days the screen would go black while I was working on it as well as sometimes I would leave my desk and it would be black when I got back Moved the mouse, touched the keyboards, NOTHING Pushed power button, NOTHING Would have to unplug power supply Plug it back in and it would come back on May work a day, maybe work days But would eventually go black again Called Dell, they ran diagnostics then they had me mail it to their repair location Mailed it on a Fri and the following Fri they called and emailed saying it had been shipped back Within a week or so, same thing happened So I called them They ran diagnostics and they had me mail it back to them AGAIN This time took longer No call or email stating it had been shipped....just showed up.....with a note stating they found nothing wrong and did NO

I bought a pre order for Mighty No from DellI made the purchase in chat session ***They did not send me an order number, but they took my money and sent the game once it was releasedI was promised a $gift card and a $gift card for making the purchaseI never received either

My experience with Dell's computers is primarily through the use of my own Inspiron series laptop and as such I have put my review for that first
My negative review is primarily because of behavior I have seen from representatives online related to these issues which is detailed in the final paragraph
For the most part, my experience has been alright, with no issues for the most part with the hardware or softwareThe first issue I encountered was an orange hue around the edges of my screen with red patches occasionally showing up in the bottom right cornerI assume this has to do with overheating given the colors, and the red patches showing up mostly when it's under heavy useHowever, there was another issue I found much worseOver time the laptop started coming apart near the left hinge for no apparent reason other than regular useThis wasn't initially much of a problem as the separation was only about or 5mmToday the laptop started coming apart in earnest with separation reaching about 3cm if I wasn't carefulOn the plus side I did manage to get some dust out so maybe that's a win for me? Either way it seems the screws are not holding the casing together anymore and I'll need to replace them or something to remedy the issueI no longer have the laptop under warranty so won't be bothered to go to them to fix it
That said, I did look online to see what possible actions could be taken to fix this issueAccording to Dell, this obvious design flaw is an issue with customers misusing their laptops by opening them from the right side etcand has nothing to do with their design or manufacturing processPeople with valid warranties are not being helped with this issue and they offer no recourseThis is unacceptable behavior for a business like Dell Inc

I placed an order with dell computers with a gift card and a credit cardAt AM on the same day I think someone from Dell called to verify the credit card and because they could not reach me they canceled the orderThe order has been canceled by Dell for a week and I have not received a refund to my gift cardThe gift card expires in daysI have spoken to atleast different people at Dell and chatted with another about thisI can't believe this can be good for business - cancelling an order from a customer and making it impossible to place the order again

Awful customer serviceThey don't assist you at all for free, you have to purchase a warranty (for like $300) just to get help with basic tech supportI like their computers but now that I've dealt with their customer service, this will be my last Dell

That deadline has long past and we are months with no refund So far when we ask to speak with her Dell Supervisor we are never allowed

I purchased a Dell Venue tablet in June of Just days before the warranty expired in June I had to return it to Dell because it would not accept a charge They fixed it and returned it However, the same problem returned in December When I contacted Dell to have it repaired I was told they could not do anything since the tablet was now no longer under warranty I pointed out that this was the same problem they apparently fixed in June Since the repair did not last, It seemed reasonable to me to have them do it again But after speaking with a half dozen people they refused to do anything
