Review: Am being charged additional fees related to a bankruptcy. I have been trying to get in touch with someone to explain fees. I have been going through this process for almost 3 years. I had been in touch with Citimortgage during my divorce & bankruptcy, following their instructions on what I needed to do to maintain the home. The home is in good standing. When these fees suddenly appeared on my mortgage statement, the process began. I've constantly been transferred to various departments with half explained answers. I've been promised multiple returned phone calls which never happen. Finally, was able to speak with someone in their Recovery Unit. They referred me to their law firm to provide a invoice of services rendered. The only invoice the law firm had referring to my account does not match the fees I'm being charged by Citimortgage. I have forwarded that invoice to Citimortgage. They are now referring me to another law firm. I have tried to get in touch with someone with authority & they refuse to provide me a name & contact number. Their standard answer is "we will have someone contact you", they never do, thus, I have to continue to call back in. I wish to be absolved of these fraudulent charges.Desired Settlement: I wish all fees to be removed from my account

Review: I applied for a Citi Credit Card that advertised 20,000 points with $0 spending. I was sent the card but they are claiming that I have to spend $1,500 in 3 months to get the 20,000 points. This is bait and switch. When they replied to my email message, they said they are aware of the problem but do not have a time frame to resolve the issue. The only reason I applied was because I thought I was getting the 20,000 points with $0 spending required.Desired Settlement: I would like the 20,000 points with $0 spending to be credited to my account.

They made a mistake with billing they wrote everything wrong from my phone number , routing number , Home Address and Bank account information . I have spoke to other card holders and this seems common practice with this company . They started sending more bills but it was paid I could not figure out why . I called them I believe 2/**/15 and made a 45 dollar payment MEMO # [redacted] . My next call was to find out why they were not sending my bills . They tacked on all kinds of interest which I had reversed I asked them to please let me pay the balance and to close the account . I spent what felt like 2 hours on the phone trying to settle the account . I gladly paid my last payment of 38.10 to settle the account MEMO# [redacted] . I just wanted them out of my life and off of my back . They are stalking my life making claims on my credit report and holding my life hostage . They sent another bill after this and said they reversed the fees in error .

I called and they made me pay another 70 dollars after the account was settled .

With the exception of [redacted] stealing money from me and holding my credit score hostage with intentions of stealing more money from loyal hard working people . It has ravaged my credit rating for something that was their fault . They then lowered my limit on the card from 1750. to 250 which effected my credit score further . All because of their greed , mistakes and want to steal more money . My other credit cards have 5,000 to 12,000 limits . I have 17 credit cards and I have never had a issue . They are scam artists and they will do anything to rob honest people .Desired Settlement: I want them to refund the 70 dollars . The account was already settled . It is sad [redacted] is not trust worthy on any level Their primary goal is to prey on low income people with bogus charges to raise revenue . Their customer service is zero and they do not update information even when you call numerous times . I called numerous times . Good faith dictates if I paid for this one time it should be done I should not be stalked . This was a sale for $79.00 dollars . I have paid over double . If you check my credit history I have no late payments or no reports on my credit till [redacted] . This whole process of intimidation was done for a second time and out of the blue they reversed everything that was settled again and decided to stalk me again . The stress is to much to bare . For a measly 79 dollar purchase they almost made my loan fail for a house . I intended to outfit the house with [redacted] products but I will NEVER do business with them on any level . I have 3 [redacted] Cards and they have better products and they are trust worthy . I own 6 sets of complete tool sets for home and every vehicle I own . I buy [redacted] tires for my vehicles . I buy clothes from [redacted] as well as Nail Guns , saws , and home items . I do not understand why they would do this to a loyal customer . The only correspondence was a phone call saying I would be getting a letter with information on the matter . The only letter received was a confirmation of the account being closed . They lowered my limit to 250 dollars and damaged my credit score . I just do not know why they would do this to a person . Why would I need a $250. credit card when I have very hi limits on other cards with a perfect payment history . As with any situation or complaint a history of bad actions will apply . I have none on my credit report . I would bet this is common practice with [redacted] . I am sure I am not the 1st person they abused . I want my money back and I want them to reverse the harm they did to my credit .

I deserve an apology for their stealing , stalking and the abuse . I am very hurt by the fact that they would steal from a family with a disabled child that is just trying to make a difference with hard work . I have been ripped off for more money . Review: I haven't been receiving statements from [redacted] . Therefore, I have a late payment from August on a [redacted] credit card that was issued by Citibank. I enrolled in their debt payment protection program to cover me in the case of financial hardship. The debt protection covered the late payment, but seem to have been applied to the wrong months causing the late payments. Also , I haven't received a statement since June from [redacted], and I do not know why. To quell this I have enrolled in E statements. I have been told several times by several escalation specialist (Paul, Sherri, ETC) that the late payment from August would be removed in 30 days and it hasn't been removed. I was advised that Sherri submitted the removal request to the incorrect department and this is why it wasn't removed. On November [redacted] I was advised by Paul that on December [redacted] the late payment would be removed and it was never removed. Today I spoke with Corey ([redacted]) and he advised that the there are no notes that specify that the late payment would be removed.Desired Settlement: Requesting the 30 day late payment from August to be removed from all credit bureaus.

Review: In the summer of 2011 2 of my friends and I went into the [redacted] store in [redacted] to look at TV's. One of the sales people came over to help us and after a very good description of one of the sets my friend [redacted] and I both decided to buy a new TV. At the register the sales person asked if we wanted to open a [redacted] card. I was not really interested in opening another credit card, but the sales person convinced me to do so by offering interest free financing. I question him on how payments would be applied to card over the 36 month interest free period and also if it was a balloon payment. I found out it was a balloon payment at a criminally high interest rate, but I also calculated the payments out to be about $70.00 dollars a month paying the purchase off in 20 months. I then asked the sales person how the payments where applied to the purchase and he read off his computer that payments would be applied to the oldest purchase first. Last week I went to pay my bill and there was a financing charge of $1,200.00 on my account. I called the [redacted] card call center and they told me this was a finance charge from my first purchase back in 2011. I told them I had been making payments on this account for 3 years totaling over $2500.00 and they told me that the payments where not applied to my first purchase that they where applied to new purchases as I made them. I told the person on the phone that this was not how the payments where to be applied according to the agreement I was given when I open the card and they basically told me well, that's not how they do it so too bad. I told them I would never have opened the card if I had known they where not going to honor the agreement made at the time of purchase. They then offered to remove the $1,200.00 if I would give them a payment over the phone for over $500.00 right then. I told them I had no way to make a payment this large and should not have to because I had already paid off the purchase 16 months ago.

Review: On July 7 2015, I called City Bank to talk to someone about the judgment that I have on my credit report. The person that I talked to gave me a number to call [redacted] ###-###-####. I called the number and talked to Ms.E[redacted] who told me that the law firm that I hire did almost pay all my debt except the last three payment of 250$. So I ask if I can pay that the get the account take out of my credit report. She told me that she can not do that but instead we agree to make 10 payment for 100$ each month starting august. She told me that I will get the agreement in witting soon. I wait for a week and noting happened so I send a letter stating what we agreed and ask if I can get the letter agreement. Noone reply. Then I called a week later, I talked to Ms. E[redacted] again, she informed me that the account has been transferred to another Law Firm [redacted] ###-###-####. I called the number and asked about my account. The person that I talked to told me that they can not accept any payment for this account at this time she also told me that they are ready to send it back to CITI bank. She advice me to call CITI or the first law firm that I hire to take care of this account. The thing is the Law firm that I hired does not representing me now. I did explained this to the person that I talked to. She told me to call CITI, so I called CITI on July **, 2015. I talked to Mr. R[redacted], his office is in India so the quality of our conversation was very poor. I can not hear what he was saying for the most part. The part that I hear was not very comforting. He told me to call [redacted]. I explained to him that I did talk to them and told him what happened, he said he will direct my clam to Recovery Escalation Department and this department will contact me within the next 3-5 business days. Review: I am the father of a minor child who has been solicited multiple times by Citibank MasterCard with mailings requesting typical personal information. I have called the company to inform them of this problem and they agreed to stop all contact. My child has been mailed credit applications several times since that call. I have returned each application with my message "Minor child, stop soliciting" written across the application. I told Citi that I am concerned about my child's identity having been stolen and her future credit security, but it looks like they don't share the same sense of urgency that I have. I will continue to try to get satisfaction from this huge corporation that has such low regard for my child's safety and future. Review: I cancelled my Citicard in November, 2010. At which time, there was $0.00 balance showing on my card. I moved to Washington State the same month I cancelled my credit card. I udpated my new mailing address at the time of cancellation in case any other transactions were done and I could be alerted to them and to recieve a final statement. My cell phone number remained the same and has never changed. On **Mar14 I contacted Citicards via the 888 number due to a recent call I received from UCB credit collection agency. This was the first contact I had received since Nov. 2010. I confirmed with Citicards on **Mar14 that my billing address (Washington) was current in the system as well as my cell #, I further inquired as to why I was not contacted previous to this date if there was an outstanding payment on my CC of $74.54. It first of all shoud never have been processed since I cancelled the card in 2010. The agent could not give reason this information was not relayed to me at that time nor could they note reason I had not received any statement in the mail or a call to my cell number since Nov. 2010. Their system showed they had called my cell number (current number) 1 time in 2013 and then submitted it to collection department however I never received any voice messages or calls relating to bill. I am very organized and precise with my monthly bills and thought I had handeled this process correctly when cancelling the card in Nov. 2010. The only option the agent gave me at Citicards was that is most likely was not processed to completion for cancellation in 2010. and that the Aug. '**. charge was processed in error due to no cancellation. I would have been very happy to resolve this matter at time of need however there was no communication by Citibank to alert me of this issue. On **Mar14, the agent gave me the fax number only for their dispute center. Per the agent they cannot handle disputes or investigate into any claims by customers, nor would their system allow them access to transfer to dispute center directly. I questioned this as well and requested a [redacted], this request was declined by the agent and the call was terminated. I called back repeatedly each day and was never allowed access to dispute center or a [redacted]. I faxed my first dispute claim on this matter on **May14, as this was immediately after I received all former statements in the mail. I had requested all related documentation to be sent to my home for my review and follow up. After I received all statements, I faxed these and my requests to dispute center on May [redacted]. I requested a follow up response, either through Fax, email, or call. I never received any return contact from the dispute center to discuss this issue. I had also sent in a check for the original billed amount of $74.54 so that this would not carry over any further late fees. I thought with my payment and dispute request to investigate the deletion of added late charges this would get proper attention. I was incorrect and never received any further contact with Citicards. I started to recieve further calls from UCB collection agency for the outstanding balance of late fees totally $125.69. I decided to pay this balance and continue to fax/follow up wtih the dispute center to possibly alleviate the fees and ensure this does not go on my credit report. Needless to state, after multple calls to the help center, which never amounted to anything more than initial information given and faxes to the dispute center I never received any contact to discuss this issue. I have recently applied for a mortgage loan and this is the only issue now on my credit report (and will remain for 7 years). I tried to contact Citicards again today, **Apr15 however was informed by that agent that they cannot remove anything on the credit reports once filed and to contact them. I contacted [redacted] and [redacted] today who all told me only the creditor can remove complaints on my report. Therefore, citicards gave me false information again. I called back the number I was given by the Citicard agent today, to reach their [redacted] if I had further questions and it was a busy signal. Therefore, without going back through the general call center (which I did again, and was told by that agent he was transfering me to the manger, [redacted]) it was a busy signal and they had hung up on me. Citicards customer service is concluded as ineffective after this issue and I would like to file a complaint against this company.Desired Settlement: I would like to actually receive a call back from the [redacted] in charge of disputes to resolve this issue as well as have Citicards remove their complaint on my credit report. I have excellent credit dispite this matter and do not want this being the only matter that is tarnishing my credit rating. Review: I am writing about my Citi Prestige credit card account ending in [redacted].

I have been a customer of Citi for quite some time, and I recently opened a new line of credit with the Citi Prestige card. Upon signing up for the card, I spoke with a representative that guaranteed the first year annual fee would be waived in its entirety for 450 USD, appearing as a credit on my account.

I completed my application, and have now been told that this agreement would not be honored. I am very frustrated because the offer I was told was one of my primary reasons for signing up for the card. I am even more upset that a Citi representative mislead me and that Citi is not following through on the promise made.

Review: When we opened out account with [redacted] in 2012, both I and my husband signed the paperwork to purchase a tractor. Apparently the page with my signature and personal information was discarded by their employee or maybe it was kept by that employee. [redacted] credit cards are funded by Citibank. When our card expired in April of 2014 we notified Citibank that we needed a new card and Citibank refused to send us new one because they claim it violates National Security laws for us to have a postal mail box. What???? That’s the most ludicrous excuse ever manufactured in light of the fact that they accepted our postal mail box address when we applied and even mailed statements to our postal mail box address in the beginning. Also when I send my payments they are addressed to a P.O. Box, which would be illegal and a breach of National Security as well following their line of reasoning. Subsequently, Citibank closed our old account because of this alleged National Security breach, opened a new account in our names using our information, they claim that they transferred the balance from the old account to the new account and now refuse to give us the account number, the amount owed or any information about the new account. I have tried to get this information since August *, 2014 and Citibank refuses to speak to me because I am a woman and will only speak to my husband. They consider me nothing more than chattel of my husband and refuse to recognize that I signed paperwork when we opened the account. They claim that I am not an account holder. This is degrading and discriminatory and makes me wonder exactly what they are hiding. I have been making the payments on this account since day one and the payments have been made from my paycheck. That being said, I sent a check to [redacted] Credit Cards in the amount of $100.00 on September **, 2014 (due to their threats of charging late charges and adding to our unknown balance) and put the old account number on it since they refused to give me the new account number they claim they opened in our name (for which they have not provided proof of this new account). My check, #[redacted], cleared my bank on September **, 2014 and was credited to my old account according to the endorsement on the back of the check, which is closed according to Citibank. Where did my money go? Why won’t Citibank tell me what my new account number is, whether my $100.00 was credited to my account or one of their personal accounts, what my balance is and why they treat me as only property of my husband and that I am to be kept in the dark about these issues? This is affecting my health and causing me to have [redacted] pains for which I will be seeking medical assistance. I have never experienced or been treated before for [redacted] pains. This is what Citibank is doing to an elderly person.Desired Settlement: I demand that a full audit of Citibank is done to prove where my $100.00 went and what my balance is. I demand that I am issued a public apology for the degrading manner in which I have been treated. Review: Contacted citi bank to make payment in full, they were unable to get funds electronically, had to post them a check.Called them numerous times.

I called citibank to pay off account in full, they were willing to waive $25 late fee, they gave me the total and put it through. A few days later I noticed it had not gone through electronically, called them they tried again, same thing. I had funds not sure why,,they were not very helpful. So I posed them a check, again they told me the amount to pay in full, I sent it to them,and closed my account, now I am getting billed for late fees, twice, they say I had a late fee, I did, but they waived it for the once time, I was never late before this was my first bill!! I paid off the amount in FULL they told me was due, now they are trying to get more money from me that I dont owe and the longer it goes on the keep adding more late fees for the late fees. The refuse to pass me on to a superior and insist this is my fault. They are shady and criminal, they are trying to make me pay for something I should not have to, the account was closed, check cleared for amount in FULL !! They are totally ripping me off and hoping I will cave and pay them for nothing for stealing my money!!Desired Settlement: I want them to stop billing me for late fees when I paid the account off in full and the late fee they are speaking of was originally waived!! I only talked to a cust service low level person, when asked to speak to a [redacted] they told me it was not an option and they would have to call me back, so far I have not heard back from them or gotten a message . This is NOT resolved, they are charging me for late fees only, no purchases, my account was closed, paid in full and the late fee was waived, there should be no more charges of any kind on my account, I looked into other complaints about this same company and the tactics used on others are the same as they used on me!! Very unacceptable business practices. I have filed a compaint against the Citibank Call Center in [redacted]..They are charging me over and over for a late fee I did not concur..I DID pay my account off in FULL however and asked that it be closed. The original late fee was waved, there is absolutely Zero justification for any late charges..since I requested my Full Balance amount that was needed to pay off the account in full and close it,,as I have done, a couple months ago, they keep sending me inccuring charges that is basically a 25 late charge they keep adding on to, I tried to talk to them but they are trained to ignore and confuse the consumer and give us nothing but crap, they wouldnt even put me thru to a [redacted] stating its not how they operate..I have now just gotten the 3rd bill for the original 25 late fee the bill is now up to 87 dollars, even tho my account was closed and paid in full before they sent me this bill..it makes no sense. They need to stop harrassing me, my only avenue was to file a complaint with you and from the response I am barely getting from them they are continuing to ignore and bully me..please get this BULLY company to withdraw their bogus charges..its criminal they should not be allowed to be in business and treat ppl this way. Review: Purchased from [redacted] on their credit card. Did not receive a bill, or phone call, or U.S. Mail, or email. I forgot about the purchase until applying for a loan on a house. I was told of the bill from a loan officer. I called the credit card company and made a over the phone payment. Paid the amount in full. The next month I received my first bill through the mail. It showed the amount I paid, than showed a reversal on the payment. still no notification from them, no explanation. Called and paid it off again. They dropped all late charges, gave me a $60.00 credit, but would not remove bad credit on my credit score. Because of this my credit score is to low. I am out $7000.00 plus on appraisal surveys and other charges. Review: I applied for a mortgage with Citibank sometime in mid-October of 2013. I was pre approved for a mortgage and sent validating documents to Citibank. On Nov [redacted], 6 weeks after my original approval by my sales person [redacted], I was told underwriting is using the wrong income but they aren't going to change it. After a lot of phone calls I was able to establish what happened was Citibank felt my income had declined over the last 3 years and would only use my 2013 income and they only used commissions that were already paid year to date even though I was paid monthly commissions and I had 2 more months and checks to come. My complaint is that if this was Citibanks policy, then I should have never been put in the approval pipeline by my salesperson. At no time over the 6 weeks since my original approval did [redacted] tell me this was a loan that was in jeopardy of not being written. As a result I may lose the house I was purchasing and if I can get the house interest rates have gone up so I will lose a lot of money. I fully believe [redacted] was being dishonest and knew my loan wouldn't be approved but didn't care what problems it would cause for me. 9/** about 9:30am, I can't login to my citi online banking for some reason.

I use the phone [redacted] to call citi bank ###-###-####, the associate in credit card department was very nice, she couldn't pull out one of my credit card account so she transferred to her [redacted]. The manger was nice as well.

She help me close my citi [redacted] account. when I ask her why I can't login to the online banking. she transferred to the technical department, this guy's told me her name was [redacted], I asked her to spell to me, but she didn't. this guy [redacted] didn't allow me speak, and she kept broken my word when I spoke. I felt very upset and asked her to transfer to her manger. but she didn't and hang up the phone around 9:56am

The guy thought she didn't spell her name to me and she might told me the wrong name, [redacted] wasn't her name, and I couldn't find her to complain.
