Review: An unauthorized "hard credit inquiry" was placed on my credit report in June of 2014. My account is with [redacted] (aka [redacted]) and ends in [redacted]. [redacted] requested Citibank remove this item as of or around January **, 2015. This "hard inquiry" is damaging my credit, and should be removed immediately.Desired Settlement: Remove the inquiry from my credit report immediately.

Review: A hard hit on my credit report is an error.
Customer service did nothing to prevent me from cancelling my two cards out of anger.
CitiBank sent me a letter offering a credit line increase based on my credit history with them only, they asked that I go to a website [redacted] and I did. The increase came back as an odd number $2,200.00 then a box appeared asking if I wanted a further increase. I asked for an additional $300 to make it an even $2,500.00 I did not noticed the warning that at that point CitiBank 'may' or 'may not' effect a hard-hit on your credit report. Considering the low amount I was asking for ($300) I would think I would end up on the 'may not' end of things. When I found out from my credit monitoring service that CitiBank hard-hot my credit report (which can harm your [redacted] and [redacted] score) I became irate and called CitiBank Customer Service. The agents said there was nothing I they could do except give me an address to write to in an attempt to have the inquiry removed from account (which normally doesn't end in the customers favor). In response I cancelled both of my Citi Simplicity and Citi Dividend Cards. The agent made absolutely no attempt to save my business with CitiBank. I have one more card which is Citi Doublecash, if the inquiry made on 02/**/2015 is not removed from my credit report, specifically Experian, than I will cancel my Doublecash card and wash my hands of CitiBank altogether.Desired Settlement: I want the inquiry removed from my credit report specifically Experian. I have an excellent score with [redacted] at 800 and a [redacted] score teetering 900 and I feel the inquiry may have a negative impact on my scores.
I ask that you make it absolutely clear to your customers that you are about to perform a hard-hit on their credit reports.
I ask that you train your agents to defuse situations better and work harder on customer retention. I didn't ask CitiBank for an increase until CitiBank sent

Review: After calling [redacted] & discussing their incontinence products for my son with special needs I was offered a $10 prepaid service card. The card came and my son ended up sick in the hospital for an extended time. After returning home I called Citi Bank to explain what had happened. I spoke to a [redacted] at the time. She told me & spelled her name for me. After waiting for 4 weeks I called Citi Bank back using the telephone number on the back of the card. I spoke to [redacted] this time. He told me he checked into the status of this & they did not have anyone working there named [redacted]. He said it would take 24 to 48 hours to see if they can reissue the $10 prepaid card. I waited & called back a third time only to be told they could not reissue the card. I don't know who I was talking to if indeed the person I spoke to was not [redacted]- the name she gave me & spelled for me! Then I was misled to wait 24 to 48 hours to see if they could reissue the card? More nonsense!! This is a small amount but its not the $10 as much as the run around I received! I was lied to & the folks I spoke to were not very courteous!!!I did not call up expecting anything. I called to discuss the products & I was offered the prepaid card. Maybe someone else will NOT go through this kind of treatment with Citi.Desired Settlement: Honor the promise originally made & reissue the prepaid card.

To Whom It May Concern:
Citi® Prepaid Services received the complaint submitted on March **, 2015 from [redacted] regarding a prepaid card issued by Citi Prepaid Services on behalf of [redacted]. As a business that aims to provide a positive cardholder experience, we endeavor to resolve all cardholder issues in a thorough and satisfactory manner.
After researching [redacted]’s complaint, it was confirmed that this prepaid card was issued in June 2014 with an expiration date of December **, 2014. In accordance with applicable law and regulations, this expiration date was embossed on the front of the card; displayed on the cardholder materials (i.e., “valid thru 12/**”); disclosed in the terms and conditions that accompanied the card with an explanation that the funds would no longer be available after the expiration date
We spoke with the customer on March **, 2015 when he related that he had been with his son in a hospital for several months and did not think about this card. As a one-time courtesy, the account balance was reissued, and a new card sent to the address on file in the amount of $10.00.
We regret that [redacted] encountered this situation. If the Revdex.com should have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at the number and information found below.
Sincerely,
Review: I wish to file a formal complaint against CITIBANK for the way they handled closing both of my [redacted] and [redacted] credit card accounts. I have had these accounts for almost a year, have handled these accounts responsibily, paid them on time, in full and have never been late. Citibank "claimed" someone tried hacking into both accounts online and jepordized the security of the accounts. An operator claimed they wanted to close the [redacted] account for "security reasons" and reopen them with new numbers, which I hesitatly agreed to. I had requested both accounts credit limits be raised as I was a loyal customer, which Citibank agreed to and had done to $1,000. The week following the credit limit increase, I had applied for and was given 3 new accounts with Citibank, one [redacted], one [redacted] and still another with [redacted], all branded credit cards Citibank sponsors. The morning of Monday, April [redacted], I received 2 disturbing phone calls from Citibank security. They claimed to have expressed "concern" over so many accounts being opened over such a short period of time. I explained to them that I had applied to these companies as a "buffer" measure to help me avoid being left out in the road as I had planned to travel this summer as I have a severally handicapped, disabled person in my family and cannot afford to be left out in the "cold" so to speak. They agreed and hung up the phone. On Tuesday, April [redacted], a clerk who represented the credit review department threatened to contact all of my creditors indicating they had closed my accounts and the aforementioned reason the account had been closed, in a tone indicating that they were trying to ruin my existing credit. The very next day, I received notification that I was now placed as a "risk" to Citibank as they claimed I had too many inquiries on my credit report to their liking and they subsequently closed all 5 credit accounts with their company. I did not realize that there was a "limit" to the amount of credit cards one may apply for over a period of time, otherwise I would have never applied for them. I object to the way they handled these accounts, assuming that I am now a "credit risk" to them simply because I have applied for more than 1 account in such a in their definition "short" period of time. As stated, I have been a loyal responsible customer of theirs for almost a year and had NO PROBLEM up until now. Please consider this a formal complaint against Citibank.Desired Settlement: I would like my accounts to be reopened.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The response provided to me by Citibank is nothing more than a glorified form response from the company. As I stated in my previous complaint, I have been a loyal customer of Citibank for almost a year. They have treated me nothing short of being rude, smart mouthed, and over judgmental during the entire business relationship with them. I had enough trouble getting the card and "proving my financial situation" with them and they closed all of my accounts for no reason. I reject their "form letter" and their excuse for closing my accounts. Everyone will be notified of my experience with Citibank. I am very happy I owe them nothing, because the bank IS nothing other than exorbitant interest rates and rude, nasty operators. No sweat off my back!

Review: I am writing about my Citi Prestige credit card account ending in [redacted].
I have been a customer of Citi for quite some time, and I recently opened a new line of credit with the Citi Prestige card. Upon signing up for the card, I spoke with a representative that guaranteed the first year annual fee would be waived in its entirety for 450 USD, appearing as a credit on my account.
I completed my application, and have now been told that this agreement would not be honored. I am very frustrated because the offer I was told was one of my primary reasons for signing up for the card. I am even more upset that a Citi representative mislead me and that Citi is not following through on the promise made.
As a desired settlement, I am requesting that the first year's annual fee be waived, either through a statement credit or through a refund check.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that the first year's annual fee be waived, either through a statement credit or through a refund check.

Review: I cancelled my Citicard in November, 2010. At which time, there was $0.00 balance showing on my card. I moved to Washington State the same month I cancelled my credit card. I udpated my new mailing address at the time of cancellation in case any other transactions were done and I could be alerted to them and to recieve a final statement. My cell phone number remained the same and has never changed. On **Mar14 I contacted Citicards via the 888 number due to a recent call I received from UCB credit collection agency. This was the first contact I had received since Nov. 2010. I confirmed with Citicards on **Mar14 that my billing address (Washington) was current in the system as well as my cell #, I further inquired as to why I was not contacted previous to this date if there was an outstanding payment on my CC of $74.54. It first of all shoud never have been processed since I cancelled the card in 2010. The agent could not give reason this information was not relayed to me at that time nor could they note reason I had not received any statement in the mail or a call to my cell number since Nov. 2010. Their system showed they had called my cell number (current number) 1 time in 2013 and then submitted it to collection department however I never received any voice messages or calls relating to bill. I am very organized and precise with my monthly bills and thought I had handeled this process correctly when cancelling the card in Nov. 2010. The only option the agent gave me at Citicards was that is most likely was not processed to completion for cancellation in 2010. and that the Aug. '**. charge was processed in error due to no cancellation. I would have been very happy to resolve this matter at time of need however there was no communication by Citibank to alert me of this issue. On **Mar14, the agent gave me the fax number only for their dispute center. Per the agent they cannot handle disputes or investigate into any claims by customers, nor would their system allow them access to transfer to dispute center directly. I questioned this as well and requested a [redacted], this request was declined by the agent and the call was terminated. I called back repeatedly each day and was never allowed access to dispute center or a [redacted]. I faxed my first dispute claim on this matter on **May14, as this was immediately after I received all former statements in the mail. I had requested all related documentation to be sent to my home for my review and follow up. After I received all statements, I faxed these and my requests to dispute center on May [redacted]. I requested a follow up response, either through Fax, email, or call. I never received any return contact from the dispute center to discuss this issue. I had also sent in a check for the original billed amount of $74.54 so that this would not carry over any further late fees. I thought with my payment and dispute request to investigate the deletion of added late charges this would get proper attention. I was incorrect and never received any further contact with Citicards. I started to recieve further calls from UCB collection agency for the outstanding balance of late fees totally $125.69. I decided to pay this balance and continue to fax/follow up wtih the dispute center to possibly alleviate the fees and ensure this does not go on my credit report. Needless to state, after multple calls to the help center, which never amounted to anything more than initial information given and faxes to the dispute center I never received any contact to discuss this issue. I have recently applied for a mortgage loan and this is the only issue now on my credit report (and will remain for 7 years). I tried to contact Citicards again today, **Apr15 however was informed by that agent that they cannot remove anything on the credit reports once filed and to contact them. I contacted [redacted] and [redacted] today who all told me only the creditor can remove complaints on my report. Therefore, citicards gave me false information again. I called back the number I was given by the Citicard agent today, to reach their [redacted] if I had further questions and it was a busy signal. Therefore, without going back through the general call center (which I did again, and was told by that agent he was transfering me to the manger, [redacted]) it was a busy signal and they had hung up on me. Citicards customer service is concluded as ineffective after this issue and I would like to file a complaint against this company.Desired Settlement: I would like to actually receive a call back from the [redacted] in charge of disputes to resolve this issue as well as have Citicards remove their complaint on my credit report. I have excellent credit dispite this matter and do not want this being the only matter that is tarnishing my credit rating. Please have their dispute department contact me (at current cell number they have on file) as soon as possible. I will also never be using a citicard CC again and will shre this recommendation to all friends/family/co-workers that ask. Thank you for your time and help!

My original payment was paid 12/**/14 and this is the confirmation email . It was supposed to be paid and done at this point .
Your payment by phone request
in the amount of $83.10
was received on 12/**/2014

number for your records: [redacted].

Payment by phone requests received by 12:00 am ET will
credit your account the same day. Payment requests
received after 12:00 am ET will be credited to your account

They made a mistake with billing they wrote everything wrong from my phone number , routing number , Home Address and Bank account information . I have spoke to other card holders and this seems common practice with this company . They started sending more bills but it was paid I could not figure out why . I called them I believe 2/**/15 and made a 45 dollar payment MEMO # [redacted] . My next call was to find out why they were not sending my bills . They tacked on all kinds of interest which I had reversed I asked them to please let me pay the balance and to close the account . I spent what felt like 2 hours on the phone trying to settle the account . I gladly paid my last payment of 38.10 to settle the account MEMO# [redacted] . I just wanted them out of my life and off of my back . They are stalking my life making claims on my credit report and holding my life hostage . They sent another bill after this and said they reversed the fees in error .
I called and they made me pay another 70 dollars after the account was settled .
Your payment by phone request
in the amount of $70.00
was received on 04/**/2015
Please keep the following confirmation
number for your records: [redacted].
.
It has not posted to my account yet and I am assuming it may never so they can charge me again . I have no late payments on my credit records . I have a perfect record for years . With the exception of [redacted] stealing money from me and holding my credit score hostage with intentions of stealing more money from loyal hard working people . It has ravaged my credit rating for something that was their fault . They then lowered my limit on the card from 1750. to 250 which effected my credit score further . All because of their greed , mistakes and want to steal more money . My other credit cards have 5,000 to 12,000 limits . I have 17 credit cards and I have never had a issue . They are scam artists and they will do anything to rob honest people .Desired Settlement: I want them to refund the 70 dollars . The account was already settled . I also want them to fix my credit report they destroyed . They need to take that off of my record .

It is sad [redacted] is not trust worthy on any level Their primary goal is to prey on low income people with bogus charges to raise revenue . Their customer service is zero and they do not update information even when you call numerous times . I called numerous times . Good faith dictates if I paid for this one time it should be done I should not be stalked . This was a sale for $79.00 dollars . I have paid over double . If you check my credit history I have no late payments or no reports on my credit till [redacted] . This whole process of intimidation was done for a second time and out of the blue they reversed everything that was settled again and decided to stalk me again . The stress is to much to bare . For a measly 79 dollar purchase they almost made my loan fail for a house . I intended to outfit the house with [redacted] products but I will NEVER do business with them on any level . I have 3 [redacted] Cards and they have better products and they are trust worthy . I own 6 sets of complete tool sets for home and every vehicle I own . I buy [redacted] tires for my vehicles . I buy clothes from [redacted] as well as Nail Guns , saws , and home items . I do not understand why they would do this to a loyal customer . The only correspondence was a phone call saying I would be getting a letter with information on the matter . The only letter received was a confirmation of the account being closed . They lowered my limit to 250 dollars and damaged my credit score . I just do not know why they would do this to a person . Why would I need a $250. credit card when I have very hi limits on other cards with a perfect payment history . As with any situation or complaint a history of bad actions will apply . I have none on my credit report . I would bet this is common practice with [redacted] . I am sure I am not the 1st person they abused . I want my money back and I want them to reverse the harm they did to my credit .
I deserve an apology for their stealing , stalking and the abuse . I am very hurt by the fact that they would steal from a family with a disabled child that is just trying to make a difference with hard work . I have been ripped off for more money . But the Maliciousness and the amount of time they sucked out of my life in a travesty . Why would they do this !! All I can do is fight and warn people about their practices . Sincerely ,[redacted]

Review: This is a Notice of Direct Dispute with you, under the provisions of FCRA 623(a)(8)(D), of the accuracy of information you have posted to my credit file. I am in dispute with all three credit bureaus [redacted] pertaining to a credit card with Citi Bank [redacted] for the date of last activity and payment history. After some further investigation on my part, I am also concerned that these accounts may not belong to me, and/or the reporting to [redacted] may be inaccurate. In compliance with FCRA 623(a) (8) (D), and enacting regulations published at 74 Fed Reg 31484 (July *, 2009), this Notice includes: Identification of the specific information being disputed: [redacted] reporting for Acct Number: [redacted]. Basis for the dispute: On [redacted] status is closed, but reports payment history with a 30+ days late July 2014 and November 2014 However on [redacted] and [redacted] there is conflicting information where it does not show a November 2014 late payment and has reported through January 2015. I am in full dispute of these 2 late marks on the report. Under the provisions of FCRA 623(a)(8)(E), you have the duty to review all of the information in this Notice of Dispute, to complete your investigation, and report back to me the results of your investigation, within 30-days of my Notice of Dispute. In addition, I humbly request that you provide me with complete transaction and payment history, a copy of any signed contracts or agreements, and total outstanding balance you believe I owe. I would like both negative reporting marks referenced in this dispute removed from all three credit reports OR have all information regarding this account to be removed from all 3 credit reporting bureaus.Desired Settlement: I would like the two 30 day late marks on Nov 2014 and July 2014 removed from this account on all three credit reporting bureaus. Both of these were not late as contingent on our mutual settlement of this account as accepted by Citibank.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I received a packet from the business citing my settlement decision with the company for a lump sum payment. Prior to that I was on a monthly payment plan of $63.00, as part of the settlement arrangement made on the next consecutive month, I paid the settlement in lieu of the monthly payment and my credit report should not show as a late for that month. The 30 date late mark should be removed. I will take additional action if this is not resolved.

Review: As per fax that I sent to [redacted]: no response yet.June **, 2015We received a written notice via standard mail which stated that we had not paid on our [redacted] card and we owed over $240. My husband spent over 2 hours on the phone attempting to determine how this had happened; we have been members since 1989 and we pay all of our bills on time. Although at no time was email confirmation obtained (Citibank cannot determine WHAT email account they supposedly sent these bills to; the last email correspondence we have from them/you is dated 5/**/13) my husband opted to pay the entirety of the bill due to the fact that in the time it took him to respond to the letter, the amount owed had jumped again, due to finance charges! He was unable to give this issue the amount of attention it required due to the fact that his brother was in hospice; we agreed that we would revisit the issue again once we had time. He issued payment via checking account as follows: June [redacted] 2015 $279.34Heres the facts; there were apparently charges dated as follows:Dec. 2014 $39.02Jan. 2015 $34.99Feb. 2015$22.95TOTAL $96.96There is absolutely no indication that we ever received an email; I have checked all possible email addresses and cannot locate a single email from your company past 5/*/13. I have called REPEATEDLY and been told No one is able to locate the actual email address. (as per Chloe, Mr. B[redacted], Rohan, and several other people to whom I spoke). It is beyond unfair and unethical for us to be billed for finance charges in the amount of $182.38, when your own company cannot confirm the email address of the billing. It is especially hurtful when this happens to people who have always paid on times, SINCE 1989. At no time did we change our email address with your company; it is VERY concerning that no one can locate the actual email address that was billed, if one even was.I am requesting a refund for the finance charges in the amount of $182.38.Desired Settlement: Refund of untraceable finance charge of $182.38Correction of my credit rating, and that of my husband [redacted]

Review: On Saturday, May [redacted] I went in to [redacted] to purchase a refrigerator. I had 3 separate [redacted] cards that I wanted to use and have the payment spread across all of them. I was told by the sales associate that in order to get the store's promotion of 12 months no interest financing I would only be able to use one card. The sales associate offered to call up their credit card hotline and see if they could do a credit extension on one of my cards. I talked with a lady on the phone and explained the situation to her and she confirmed that I would need a credit extension and submitted the request. I was denied and was about to leave the store, when another employee stopped me and said I could spread the payment across all three cards and still get the 12 months no interest. I called [redacted] Credit Card services again today, 06/**, to see if they would help me remove my credit inquiry from Saturday from the bureaus but was told they could do nothing and that I would need to reach out to each bureau myself. This is extremely frustrating and horrible customer service on [redacted]' part. Due to the lack of knowledge on their specials they were running, both from the store associate and the lady on the phone from the credit department, I had to take a hit on my credit for no reason. It is unfair to me as a customer to take the hit for this. Had the employees been properly informed, this would not have happened. Besides, even if I reach out to each bureau individually, I am going to have to get some sort of letter from [redacted] approving the inquiry removal, so I don't see why they are not helping me out with this.

Review: On July 7 2015, I called City Bank to talk to someone about the judgment that I have on my credit report. The person that I talked to gave me a number to call [redacted] ###-###-####. I called the number and talked to Ms.E[redacted] who told me that the law firm that I hire did almost pay all my debt except the last three payment of 250$. So I ask if I can pay that the get the account take out of my credit report. She told me that she can not do that but instead we agree to make 10 payment for 100$ each month starting august. She told me that I will get the agreement in witting soon. I wait for a week and noting happened so I send a letter stating what we agreed and ask if I can get the letter agreement. Noone reply. Then I called a week later, I talked to Ms. E[redacted] again, she informed me that the account has been transferred to another Law Firm [redacted] ###-###-####. I called the number and asked about my account. The person that I talked to told me that they can not accept any payment for this account at this time she also told me that they are ready to send it back to CITI bank. She advice me to call CITI or the first law firm that I hire to take care of this account. The thing is the Law firm that I hired does not representing me now. I did explained this to the person that I talked to. She told me to call CITI, so I called CITI on July **, 2015. I talked to Mr. R[redacted], his office is in India so the quality of our conversation was very poor. I can not hear what he was saying for the most part. The part that I hear was not very comforting. He told me to call [redacted]. I explained to him that I did talk to them and told him what happened, he said he will direct my clam to Recovery Escalation Department and this department will contact me within the next 3-5 business days. I asked for the phone number of the Recovery Escalation Department he said he do not know, I asked for his supervisor he said his supervisor is busy. So I thanked him and hang upDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Correction to a credit report
I called again get Ms. C[redacted] who transferred me to Mr. A[redacted] in India. He told me the same thing word for word what Mr. R[redacted] told me. And can not give me a good phone number to get to the right department or can not put his supervisor on the phone. He told me CITI gave them specific protocol not to give numbers. Now I want to resolve this issue and I do not know how. Please help. I want to know what to do.

Review: I have paid my credit card and [redacted] is not willing to report to [redacted] upon request. This is a standard business practice. ** wont participate.
I have called [redacted] two times as well as have participated in chat. During the phone call I had given verbal permission for a specific agent (which I had given the name of) and the phone agents had taken the name. This person has contacted twice with no success. I had also reached out to support via chat and asked to have an executive escalation so I can speak to someone who handles Revdex.com complaints before sending a ticket in through the Revdex.com site. I was told that they would not be sending the escalation request. In addition to this I had given written permission for the agent at [redacted] to speak on my behalf. All of these things were for the sake of getting my credit score evaluated. This is impacting my ability to buy a home as it is a failure for [redacted] to provide [redacted] an updated credit report upon request.
In short, [redacted] is participating with credit reporting but is not making it available for updates to be requested. This is not a standard business practice and is making my life more difficult.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to allow the agent from [redacted] to contact and get an updated credit report.
I am not looking for anything else.

I do not have the paper responses from Citi Bank. The responses said that they submitted to the credit agencies once a month. They did not respond when [redacted] inquired about the status of my loan. This is a standard business practice. This caused a delay in me getting my home refinanced. The delay was almost a full point in interest difference. This over a 30 year span (term of the loan) will be nearly $20,000. I dont really care about that because I am going to sell the house over the next few months, but otherwise the neglect of Citi Bank would have caused a serious financial burden. In addition to that, I missed out on purchasing a house I was very interested in. Long story short, they have not addressed the issue of them not responding directly to the credit agency's direct request for my credit information. This is a standard business practice and I have been wronged in their neglect. I just want someone to acknowledge that they have made a mistake and their actions have caused damage in an individual's life. I have received nothing that addressed the issues that I have brought up here. The only response I have received was "We report monthly." and "we consider this issue resolved". Nothing whatsoever that addresses the damage done.
Review: I have called in countless times due to my account. This time Citi has recharged the promotional interest to my account when it should not be. I called in a rep told me it would be taken off in 2-3 billing cycles and to make a payment of $30. When I did that I got charged a late fee and when I called in another rep told me no that money needed to be charged and the rep was wrong. I have had to call into Citi about 7-8 times. This has become extremely ridiculous that CITI cannot properly keep track of someone's account.Desired Settlement: Whether the promotional interest should be on there or not CITI needs to remove it due to the fact I have on recording a representative saying that interest was charged by accident and it will be removed. This has now become a verbal contract since the employee is a representative of CITI's and I was smart enough to record the conversation as I consented to it being recorded and CITI is now legally obligated to remove the interest from my account which it should be anyways. Also any late fee's I have incurred need waived as well and any negative reports sent to the credit reporting agency need removed as CITI cannot tell the truth.

Review: In 2008, my brother, [redacted], was dating Citibank employee [redacted]. He had told her to add me to his Checking Plus Account [redacted] as a Power of Attorney. Instead, she added me as a joint account. This was all done without my knowledge or presence. When I started receiving statements in my name, I went to the bank and told them that I never authorized this. They explained that they would discuss it with [redacted]. When I returned a week later, they told me that she had left the branch and that my name was no longer associated with any account! I was under the impression that my name was removed and that the issue was resolved. Seven years later on April *, 2015, I receive a letter from a collection agency stating that they are trying to collect a debt from this account. I NEVER used this account nor did I accrue any sort of debt. I immediately went to Citibank and spoke with the manager, [redacted], regarding this issue. He was rude and exhibited inappropriate unprofessional behavior. I held out my hand for him to shake, but he just walked away and sat down. I said, "Nice to meet you"; he never responded. When I was explaining the situation to him, he kept looking at his computer and ignored me. When I went in the second time, he didn't even greet me, shook his head, and threw documents at me attempting to claim that I was always on that account, which is not true. He told me he was going to contact his legal department and put an investigation through, but he never did. The 3rd time I went to the bank, he slammed his door in my face. Instead of resolving the issue like a manager, he lied and wasted my time for over a month and a half. I was told that they would make internal phone calls and they never did. I have written letters and called many departments myself. No one has contacted me in return. It is fraudulent that Citibank would authorize and allow this to occur without me being present to sign. Citibank is responsible for the actions of their employees, past and present.Desired Settlement: I would like my name to be removed from all three credit bureaus, the collection agency, as well as the Citibank account immediately. I would greatly appreciate it if this matter can be corrected once and for all as soon as possible.

Review: Citibank relying on false entries to my credit report sent me a letter dated July **, 2013 that due to the false entries on my credit report it was lowering my credit limit to $1070 further damaging my credit. I have a pending [redacted] dispute currently ongoing to remove the false entries to my credit report however instead of waiting for [redacted] to take care of the false entries Citbank relies on in lowering my credit limit it went ahead and damaged my credit further.Desired Settlement: Submission to all three credit reporting agencies that there lowering of my credit rating was done retying on erroneous information so my credit is not further damaged based on false information.

Review: I purchased a washer and dryer from sears dept store and was told that if I sign up for the sears card I would get 12 months no interest. I recently noticed that I have been paying interest since day one at a rate of 25%. I have good credit and would not have signed up for a high interest rate card unless it had 0 interest. After calling sears and going to the store and spending about 5 hours of my time to get this resolved I was told my only course of action is to write a letter to sears corporate and wait for a response that can take up to 45 days. This seems unreasonable I find it hard to believe that someone can't just fix the problem over the phone or on the computer.Desired Settlement: I want the money I paid in interest over the past 10-12 months back.

Review: Hello,
I am punctual with payments, that being said the day my "zales card" statement for this month became available I payed it. ( with more then ten times the minimum payment).
somehow there was a glitch on there end, the payment posted to last month's bill. I went threw there customer service department to correct the problem. they verified it somehow posted to last month's cycle.
there response was:
sorry that your payment posted to last month, but we do require you pay your minimum payment again. That is why I am contacting you. I budgeted my bills accordingly, I believe this is a way for them to sneak people into late fees, deferred interest charges, and penalty interest charges.Desired Settlement: I would like zales card to adjust the minimum payment on my account to reflect the payment I made when there system said to. ( which was ten times the minimum)

Review: I had issued what is called a "balance transfer" through the citibank.com website on July [redacted]. The "balance transfer was intended to pay a creditor of a different credit card, and had a time sensitive factor as the bill was due then. I went through the whole process entering all the information properly and receiving a confirmation from the website as well. A week had passed and no history of the transaction was on their website. I tried filing a complaint through the customer service line, explaining how I had lost money due to their non-action on my transaction. I additionally requested for them to check my history to see if they saw me make the request. They went ahead with the history check and confirmed that I had indeed gone through the process. They agreed that there might have been fault on their end but could not offer any additional help.Desired Settlement: $300 Credit card credit
