The things they don't tell you at City Furniture.
In the last 6 months I have made 3 purchases at City Furniture. First was a single recliner, which my sales person told me it came together and I just had to open the box. Wrong. I had to pay someone to put it together. Second, I purchased a double recliner, which was delivered on 07/29/2023. The recliner is leaning to one side. I called customer service and was then told that I have to pay $50 cash for someone to look at it, and if it can't be fixed, pay an additional delivery charge. My sales person never told me about these charges. Third, I purchased a mattress and box spring. My sales person never said that they would not take my old items if there were stains or anything else. My items were fine, however not being told any of this was upsetting. It seems every time I deal with City Furniture, information is left off to make the purchase more appealing. I would have purchased the warranty on the double recliner if I knew.
Unless something can be done to help me with this issue, it will be the last time I shop at City Furniture.

Defective products delivered five times and returned four timesPoor customer service and company doesn't stand behind products On 7/17/(invoice XXXXXX), City Furniture (CF) delivered an Avery sectional upholstered in Revolution fabric (Which according to their web site is "Made of ultra stain-resistant, easy to clean Revolution fabric, you can live life and enjoy moments worry free on this expertly crafted sectional")The delivery men used a dolly and wheeled the sectional into my home through the front door, across the foyer and into the TV roomThe sectional was clearly damaged as it had large gaps between the modules as well as places where the wood frame could be seen through the fabricdespite my concerns, the delivery people said it will be fineThey left and shortly thereafter I noticed hairline cracks in my tile floor from the entryway to the spot where the sectional was deliveredI called customer service and they said they would phone me back with a resolutionT

Like many others The initial shopping experience was ok it was the follcustomer service that was a nightmareToo many delays with the delivery of one item; continued back orders for a replacement item under warranty customer service people that are rude and not helpfultheir representative are trained robots who do not care one whit about the customer This store does not make any attempt to accommodate the customer or really get to the bottom of the issue The corporate office just forwards complaints to the local store owner/manager, who is then never available This business is definitely not customer friendlyI would not recommend them to anyone

I recently purchased a few items from Ashley and City furniture and it was delivered to my home.The delivery service was beyond pathetic and unprofessional.They were very rough and damaged my wood floor and stairs.I was very upset and called the customer care and I had a very bad experience with them making me feel worst .The person who picked up my call was very rude and provoking and it added to my misery.I hope they give more training to the delivery team so that they wouldn't damage other people's property and also give more training to the customer service so that when a person is calling for an issue caused because of their team they treat the caller with respect and not arrogance
