Irregular invoicing detail I have recently spent over in purchases in this storeThey Fail to provide documentation to validate their chargesI have repeatedly asked for this information and they insist I have to come into the store I opened a charge with Synchrony bank so I need to see what is chargedSynchrony bank does not detail charges eitherThis is extremely unusual and I feel not in the consumers best interest

Furniture not delivered I purchased a bedroom set in early august All but the headboard was delivered promptly I was told that the headboard would be delivered on 8/ Also, their sister company Ashley Furniture was to deliver a chest that I had ordered that same day After not hearing from them, I called on 8/to find out what time the delivery would occur However, they told me that because the headboard was on backorder, the entire order was cancelled I took the day off today I have company coming on 9/and needed the bedroom set for them I am cancelling my entire order

Horrible company to do business with Never buy anything cash from them, always use a credit card with these people so you can put a stop payment on the order City Furniture took my cash for a large piece of furniture and it was a large chunk of cash City Furniture delivered the wrong piece of furniture to my house I called customer service and tried to talk to a manager and the best I could get on the phone was a customer specialist named *** they would not let me speak to a manager and that lady started laughing at me because I was getting aggravated The Customer Service Specialist told me that it was my fault they delivered the wrong furniture and that I had to take the problem up with the salesman I didn't let the delivery people leave the furniture at my house for very good reason So after the very rude conversation on the phone with the Customer Service Specialist I went down to City Furniture and demanded a refund I was told that City Furniture does not refund cash and that they would mail me a check in to business days A dozen calls and a month and a half later I still don't have my money or a check from City furniture I have every time I've called and who I had talked to documented so I will be contacting an attorney very soon

I have not received a refund for over months from them because of a layaway that was canceled without notifying me I put some furniture in the layaway it was awhile since I had made a payment on it The store took upon themselves to cancel the layaway without notifying me So I was told that I had a refund of $due to me I had to fill out some paperwork it was taking a while and I had not heard from them so I went to the store in person to see why I had not receive my refund they told me that they had lost the paperwork and I had to fill out the paperwork again They told me it was going to to weeks to here from someone so weeks went by and I had not heard from anyone so this time I called them I talk to a ***, she stated that their accounting office is responsible for the refund and she couldn't do anything and I had to wait on them to pay me So I waited about weeks still had not heard from anyone I called the store again and this time I spoke to Manager **

The main issues I have are regarding a sofa and loveseat I purchased from city furniture. There has been very poor response from headquarters. On August 1, 2012 I purchased the Benson dark brown leather power reclining sofa and power reclining love-seat. The invoice number was XXXXXX. In September 2015 on my sofa one of the power reclining mechanism is broke. I contacted headquarters for city furniture and was basically told that there was nothing they could do that my warranty had expired the previous month. Also the warranty on the motor had expired as well. I haven't been able to have it fixed as it is too expensive. Since then the other side of the sofas power recliner has broken and areas of the padding is sunken in. Ordered Sofa Set. Delivery scheduled for 4/21/18. Item not available for delivery. Not notified. Refuse to accomodate. Poor service. Order #XXXXXX Order place on 4/15/18 and delivery scheduled for 4/21/18. I went to the store in Tamarac and spent a few hours there. We saw a sofa/loveseat that we wanted to purchase. It was the Malone Beige Sofa and Loveseat. The price on the poster/picture listed the Sofa and loveseat for $779 and the agent tells me that the price is actually $879. When I showed her the price listed, she stated that is an old pricing sheet. She left to go speak with a manager and after 30mins, she never came back. I went looking for her and found another agent who took me to a manager (bald with beard). He said they cannot honor that price because it is old and after I showed him the price is incorrect on the ad, he said that is what they are there for to clarify these things. He would not honor the misprint/old ad posted so we left the store due to unethical business

I purchased the Carver Microfiber power reclining sofa from Citiy Furniture and it was delivered on 3/9/By July all cushions were bubbling and peelingI contacted the service department and they ordered all new replacement cushions from top to bottomThese were installed at the end of September Again by the end of October they were already bubbling againI contacted service, this time they sent someone out to inspectThe person who contacted me "Enrique" was rude from the very first phone call up until he left my houseAfter almost months of scheduling issues he finally arrived and looked at the sofa and asked what he was doing there!!!
