Tell us why here... He came to our company trying to get a home loan as a self-employed borrower. He sent me over his 2014 Tax Returns and wrote off 100k in expenses. He reported that he only netted 5k after all his expenses were taken out. He hadn’t filed his 2015 Taxes yet and his tax preparer...

called me and told me that he was only going to be taking home roughly 30k for 2015. I told him that with a 2 year average of 35k, he wasn’t going to be able to qualify for a home loan through our company and he would need to re-file his taxes in order to get the loan amount that he wanted or wait until after he filed his 2016 Taxes. He decided to refile. He had enough income being reported to the IRS, and his credit scores were good. The file was suspended because they didn’t like his 2014 tax transcripts. When we got his amended 2014 tax return forms, we noticed that he owed the IRS money for the refiling of his 2014 taxes. His tax-preparer didn’t inform him that he was going to have to pay anything so when we did, he blamed us for having to re-filed his taxes. We told him that he needed to establish a payment plan with the IRS for three consecutive months or pay the amount in full. He never got back to us after that.

The worst mortgage company I've ever dealt with. They weren't trying to approve our loan but trying (very hard) to find any reason not to. Our agent asked me to prove I had my own company 15 years ago by giving him one of my customers info? Not sure how that factors into my present salery. I looked up their address and it's in the middle of a car lot. Not surprising since my wife and I feel like they were dishonest.
