Clean Aire Home Services Reviews (58)

Customer was given estimate for additional services that need to be done and she refused so we done what the ad covered as requested by customer if we didn't write not a full cleaning on work order than she would of said we left it dirty and would want it to be cleaned for free. All of her ductwork...

was only $199. we complete approx. 2500 homes per year and just have a few complaints from customers who knows nothing about air duct cleaning. the only scam is the customers who want you to work for free and complain when you don't. Any company who asks there people to work for free is breaking the labor laws. There will be no refund and when it cost more to get completed than what we would do it for our estimate is off the table.

I'm sorry my wife felt pressured by your employee. Obviously you need the money more than being concern about the customer. Keep the money but I will be reaching out to as many people as I possibly can so that no one ever uses you again. I would rather give people a positive review and send more business your way but that won't happen now. I hope the Revdex.com gives you a poor rating.

the reason we stopped payment of the check was not due to the fact that 'dust' was left on the carpet and an oil spot left in the driveway. We stopped payment because we felt we were overcharged for the services provided based on fair market value. We also stopped payment because NO documentation was left outlining the warranty on the services done to our home. There was also NO documentation left on the chemicals that were sprayed in our home. We do agree that the original amount was negotiated down, however, we agreed to the service being done because they spoke of mold. We did not receive before or after pictures of what type of mold was treated and whether it was harmful. We do not know where they treated for mold in our vents. At this point, we began to research and call competitors, and felt as though we may have been victims of a scam.  We have spoken with the company about receiving the proper documentation and the response to us was "it is on the paperwork." Attached is the only documentation we were provided, which does not indicate any information about warranty, sanitizer, or mildicide. We do not agree to the pay the $900 they are stating we owe. We will agree to pay a fair amount for the services provided, but not until proper documentation (warranty information and paperwork on the chemicals sprayed) is provided and a reasonable amount is agreed upon.

My wife signed it because it was THE WORK WAS ALREADY DONE by your employee and she felt pressured to sign it. Yes I did talk to your customer service manager but I asked the owner to call me and you didn't take the time to do so. I'm not asking for a complete refund but what the ad was for as this was a classic bate at switch. I would love to come to an agreement and just agree to go separate ways and not do business together again.

customer has itemized estimate and work order signed, of what needed done and what was done. The mildicide treatment which was used is sporicidin the entire duct system was treated.  we have the treatments we use in each work vehicle with labels on jugs, we usually require customers to be home so we can show them before and after as we don't keep pictures of every job. services was completed and we need to be paid.

When Tech. arrived to do inspection The husband ask if she wanted tech to come in and she stated no. So there is no way for us to inspect to see what the problem is. And as to we couldn't articulate what the problem was we need to inspect to find out. just like a car mechanic cant articulate whats...

wrong with your vehicle until he does a inspection.

Our company tried to go figure out the problem. Customer does not want us in her home so we will send a 200. refund as requested if this will fix the problem

On first call from customer she stated that her hardwood floors was just refinished and scratched. we ask for pictures customer emailed, Pics was of some scratches on laminate flooring, on 2nd phone call we addressed the flooring and she said it was high end so it could be refinished or at worst...

case there was 2 to 3 pieces that needed replaced. I said send us a estimate but instead she sent a invoice for the entire floor. we are not sure how her floor even got scratched but just to try to make customer happy we would be willing to give the price of service back.

It is extremely obvious this is a professional customer who gets all work done for free the Revdex.com should have a plan in place for customers like this, if customer wants legal action maybe that's the way to go, so it will not be wrote off. and if this changes our Revdex.com rating customer will be legally responsible for this.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. We agreed to pay the $900. We paid full amount of $900 on Monday, December 21, 2015 via CC over the phone. Confirmation #[redacted]Regards, [redacted]

I think that the way you are unprofessionally conducting yourself as a business owner says more than anything. My flooring engineered hardwood with a layer of bamboo on top. I've explained this multiple times. It is not laminate floor and no my 5 pound dogs did not damage the floor. You metal, heavy equipment and careless tech did. I had 10 scratches to my floor and have a photo of each scratch. Also, I don't understand why you are acting, my flooring is low cost therefore unimportant that your company damaged it. All customers are important and everyones' property should be treated that way, as well. One scratch or 100 scratches, your company is liable. As previously explained, the major portion of cost to repair was removal of much of the floor to access the pieces and then putting the fooor back together.

The complaint has been resolved

I talked to customer there was a mis understanding, but ductwork is scheduled to be cleaned customer is...

satisfied.                                   ... Thanks Rick

we are not paying for her whole floor, when customer stated it was 2 or 3 scratches, lets go to court they will say the same thing. I still have pics of the two scratches that has been taken from different angles trying to make it look like a lot more. customer stated that the floor was just refinished and its not hardwood see her pics. Since the floor is laminate maybe it is all her dogs scratching it.

customer states duct work is not properly cleaned, we had a inspection set up to find out what the problem is on 8-16-16 and customer called and cancelled. We have to inspect system to figure out the validity of this claim.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

I contacted Clean Aire Home Services to clean my duct work after receiving a coupon in the mail. The coupon advertised the cleaning of 12 vents, 1 return, and a main plus a complete system check for $54.95. I called prior to scheduling to find out what was meant by return and main. The gentleman told me that most people have a main supply and a main return and that they would take care of cleaning both. I also asked what was meant by a complete system check. I was told that they would check the furnace and AC to make sure they were working properly and check the ducts for leaks. When the technicians showed up they did not arrive in a company vehicle. It was simply two guys in a pick up truck with an air compressor and a giant "vacuum." They did not cover their feet or protect my hardwood floors from the equipment they brought in, despite telling me they had just completed a large job and were very dirty. When I told them what I wanted done they said that I would only get the main supply trunkline cleaned and that cleaning the return would be an additional $199. I showed them the coupon and mentioned the conversation I had with the gentleman that scheduled them to come out. They told me that "return" only meant the return vent. They then proceeded to give me an estimate of services they believed I needed totaling $832.89. As I argued with one gentleman for about 15 minutes the other gentleman, a trainee, proceeded to start cleaning the vents. He hooked a negative air vacuum to the main supply. Not once did I see them check to see if the negative air was actually working. When the first gentleman went to get his phone to call his boss I placed a plastic bag against one of the supply vents. If the negative air was properly working it would have sucked the bag into the duct work. It did not. So how then is it cleaning the actual duct? They used compressed air to blow into the duct work and push the dust etc toward the main supply. But there was no way to actually know if they succeeded in cleaning because they did not use a brush on the end of the line to knock the dust off the sides of the duct. There was a small piece of rubber that they said would move around rapidly and take care of all the dust. I was not convinced. In the end I told them I only wanted what was included on the coupon. They cleaned the vents and the one return vent and packed up there things to go. I asked about the complete system check and they said since I did not pay for the additional cleaning there was really no way for them to check for leaks, etc. I basically paid for them to blow dust into the basement and leave it there. They showed me the inside of their negative air vacuum and there was hardly any dust there. Not to mention that they did not clean up after they left each room. They simply left the dust they blow off the vent covers, all over the floor. This advertisement is a complete scam to get inside a person's house and try to sell them stuff they really did not need. They said I had mold which was $408 of the $832 quote. Not once did they test to see if it was actual mold. They based their opinion on looks alone. This company is a complete ripoff. I would not recommend them to anyone.
