After reading many of the past complaints, I could simply change some location information and it would look exactly like my situation. Delay after delay, and the sales guy continually feeding me a line of... Except when it comes to receiving checks. Then, they'll be right out! It's crazy. I'm even a repeat customer. But they'll always have an excuse... sorry, a "reason" for why I'm being pushed back and delayed. Always some reason. uhyup. got it.

Dear Sirs:
We have contacted Mr*** to resolve the issues listed in his complaint. Mr*** had direct control of the placement of his building and approved on the first day of construction. We are working to resolve this matter as quickly as
possible
Thanks,

Dear Sirs,
We have been in contact with Mr*** and are working to resolve the few remaining issues with his projectWe look to remedy these items quickly and close this complaint*** *** *** *** ** *** Cleary Building Corp

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr*** and have reviewed the surrounding facts of the matter. The issue at hand that delayed the project were the site conditions of the property where the building was to be constructed. The site was not
buildable due to digging conditions at the start of construction. Per the terms of the contract the site conditions are the responsibility of the client.
This issue has since been solved after Cleary and the client agreed to a solution to proceed despite the difficulties with the building site conditions and the project has since been completed. I have confirmed through our sales representative that the client is satisfied with the finished product. Thank you

This whole experience with Cleary has been a nightmare. We start talking to them in October of 2017. In December of 2017 we signed a contract and gave them a check the work was suppose to start in March of 2018 that month came and went not hearing anything from them. We called them and they gave us another starting date in April that month came and went we called them and asked what the problem was we were given some stupid excuse. The next starting date was July and again nothing and no word from them. They never call us we always need to call them they promised us August 9 they would start and again a lie. By now we are pretty upset all these dates they are giving us and they have yet to start. They finally started on August 16th. They are not here every day it's very sporadic. We might see them 2 days one week and won't see them again for a couple of weeks. They always have excuses. I'm writing this on November 28th, 2018 and still not done. We have filed a complaint with the Attorney General and we will be doing the same with the BBB. If we need to our next step will be hiring a lawyer. We have given them thousands of dollars for a simple pole barn and they just can't get it done. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We should have done our homework and checked them out before signing a contract and giving them thousands of dollars. We have read complaints about them from all over. I'm in Pueblo West, Colorado, so anyone in this area and around and are looking to build a pole barn consider yourself warned about this company.

Wanting to build a pole barn or shop I can tell you who NOT to contact. Do your homework and read all the complaints against Cleary we are so sorry we didn't. We start talking to them in October of 2017, we signed a contract in December of 2017 plus gave a check to them . It is now November 2018 and we still don't have anything We can park out cars in. They lie about all these dates when they are suppose to be here and doing the work. Our calls are not returned. We have given them thousands of dollars and we have nothing to show for it. We are so disappointed with this company that we are now in the process of filing a complaint with the Attorney General and the RevDex.com. We live in Pueblo West, Colorado. Their office is also here. DO NOT do business with this company it's been nothing but a headache. We were warned about this company by a local contractor but we already gave them a big check. It's been a year and one month and we are still having to rent storage spaces because Cleary will not finish the job we paid them for. I would not recommend this company to anyone not even my worst enemy.

Dear Sir or Madam,I personally called [redacted] at 9:33am the morning we received this letter (Aug 11th) and left a voicemail.  I emailed her at 9:41am and then was able to speak with her at 9:50am when she returned my call. I apologized for the unacceptable Customer Service and...

assured [redacted] that we do not condone service like that at Cleary.  We reviewed the letter and discussed what Cleary could do going forward, if she would allow us another opportunity to earn her business. She said that she truly liked our products and is still interested in a building.  She would prefer another Cleary representative to work with and that was arranged. [redacted] and her new Sales Specialist spoke late morning and discussed her project.  They set an appointment to meet on 8/20/16 at 9am. I then followed up with an email to reiterate that she can call me if she has any further concerns. Again, this is not indicative in any way of Cleary’s Customer Service standards and we apologize for the trouble it has caused [redacted].  We look forward to providing her with the best building solution and will be pleased if she accepts it. [redacted]

This response is in regards to Cleary Building Corporation not wanting to work this mold problem out in a safe or professional manner. First, we do not want our animals subjected to chemicals subjected to chemicals that are clearly stated on the bottle that it is known to cause cancer.  Cleary Corporation has no regard to letting one of their employees apply this chemical by hand spraying it on to the wood frame of the building.  They have tried this method before, and it didn’t work.  There is no way that they can completely spray the wood on both sides.  This building is 104’ long and 36’ wide.  There is tin covering the wood, and you cannot get to the mold on the backside.  In order to be sure that all the mold gets treated and killed is to encapsulate the building with plastic and treat the wood.  There are professional people who can perform this service and know what they are doing.  To ask one or two of your building employees to take on this dangerous and risky undertaking tells me that you don’t care about their exposure to cancer causing chemicals.  Well, we care about them and our cows and calves.  Cleary Corporation is a self-serving business with a long history of unsatisfied customers.  They claim that the customer matters but only want to do things their way.  That’s not how it’s supposed to be.  If there is a problem due to their negligence then they should do the right thing (the right way) to fix it; not put a Band-Aid on it and call it good.  In fact, they are claiming that we requested a specific mold inhibiting spray, but the truth is that we didn’t.  Cleary Corp. is the one who chose this product and showed up to apply it without consulting us first.  This problem would never have happened if they would have listed to us and insisted on bringing the building materials to our farm.  We had specifically requested that they wait on delivering the building supplies until the weather was forecasted to be drier.   They didn’t listen, and now there is a bigger problem with black mold.  Their only concern is to get as many buildings made, delivered, and paid for so they can make a lot of money.  As soon as the last payment is made the customer is forgotten.  Cleary Corporation knows that there is a big mold problem and refuses to fix it in a safe and professional manner.  Why can’t they just do the right thing and get it done?  I guess they are worried about losing money and not the safety and well-being of their customers, employees and our animals.  We feel that they are a company with people who are hardened and comfortable treating their unhappy customers in a manner that threatens them with ultimatums.  We have tried to reason with them, but they refuse to listen.  I guess they are too busy to really pay attention to our request.  All they want to do is sell, sell, sell and move on.  Again, buyer BEWARE!!! Sincerely,   [redacted] Farms Inc. [redacted] & [redacted]

Dear Sir or Madam,I have had the opportunity to investigate this situation.    I have since had our [redacted] inspect the building and the facts are that there are still leaks, and we have qualified the repair properly.     I expect that the ridge of the...

building will be properly repaired prior to 9/4/15.  During my review of the file I do not see that we have done "a dozen repairs", but we certainly have been there multiple [redacted]es in attempts to resolve this issue.   Which is what we need to do to provide the client with a building that meets his and our expectations.    If there are further questions I can be reached at ###-###-####.   Thank you.[redacted]Cleary Building Corp.

On 11 10 14 [redacted] came to my home in [redacted].  He came to my home to confirm the existence of a video showing his crew moving location markers ect.  At the end of our meeting he offered me a "change order" that showed I requested the placement of the [redacted] as it sits and offered me a 500 discount.  All previous conversations that were had via e mail expressed my desire to have the building rebuilt or waiver of final payment t of 5611.  This is only a fraction of the cost to repair the damage.  A offer of 500 dollars is nothing more than an insult and shows no true intention of cleary to remedy the problem.  Instead the handed me a intent to lein letter when I stated again I would not be paying for the services.  I have since then paid the balance as to stop any counter suit and initiated a civil suit against cleary.

Dear Sirs,
As stated, we have met with the client and rectified the two items in question. We are trying to arrange an on site meeting with our [redacted] to get this resolved.  We are looking to get this meeting set for early next week, but the client has a planned medical procedure which is causing a slight delay.  We are committed to bringing this situation to a quick resolution.

We are in receipt of the E[redacted]’s latest post, and will address their concerns in bullet points below   Cleary Building Corp did absolutely pay attention to the content of the complaint.  We take each and every complaint very seriously, no matter how big or small.  Customer service and satisfaction is the utmost priority, and we make every effort to not just meet, but exceed their expectations.  We are not perfect, nor do we claim to be.  The E[redacted]’s are correct that they signed a contract in July for a tentative erection date of October/November.  There were still changes being made to the building via change order as late as October 3rd.  As explained to all our clients, that tentative erection date (TED) represents a tentative date to start construction.  Due to various delays outside of our control, construction commenced on December 14.They are in possession of an email that “he forwarded us”.   That confidential information was not forwarded by me, but inadvertently by the branch manager.  I have no issue with how important it is to us that we take care of our vendors.  We have very stringent requirements to become an authorized sub-contractor for Cleary Building Corp, they are some of the best in the business, and they deserve to be taken care of.  That said, I also know how hard our clients work for their money, and it is an honor and privilege each and every time they trust us to a project of theirs. Upon receipt of their first post, a region manager was dispatched immediately to the site to ensure that we were progressing to the E[redacted]’s satisfaction.  We remain on site, and this project is scheduled to complete in the next 7 days.  Again, we are not perfect, however we pride ourselves on righting what is wrong.  We will continue to work tirelessly on this project for the E[redacted]’s until it is complete.   Respectfully,       Ron Kempkers General Manager of Operations, Western Division

This is [redacted] writing a continuation of the complaint I filed on 12-29-2014.       January 5th [redacted] the [redacted] from Cleary Buildings in Ellsworth Wi. Called me and said that someone will be out the week of January 5th or the following Monday to finish the job but no one showed up till Wednesday in which they only did half of what they were suppose to. The week before we signed a contract that they told us nullified the first contract just so we could put our belongings in the shed and out of the elements.  Well when they came back Saturday January 14th to finish putting steel on the roof they only screwed it on half way. Also there was a pole in the shed that they were supposed to fix but being something came up unexpected for us on Saturday and we couldn't be there, but with the shed being locked they chose to break in the shed to repair which is Unexceptable and invasion of privacy.  Any questions you can call me ###-###-####

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I accept their response in order to move forward toward a resolution. I disagree with some of the comments in their response and shared this information with the company. I will reach out to the business and work with them on a plan to resolve the leaks.

First of all, the complaint came from MRS. E[redacted], not Mr., which makes us think Cleary didn't pay any attention to the content of the complaint.  We signed our contract in July of 2016 and were told by our salesman that if we would go ahead and commit and put down 20% by August 1, we were guaranteed a construction time in October.  He even looked at his construction schedule on the wall, and said we will be on the October schedule.  Maybe it's not Cleary Corp. as much as it is the salesman who is not being honest with us?  Yes, concrete was poured in October, and we were again told by the salesman he was working on a crew to be there late October.  The response from Cleary to my complaint states the job was taken off hold shortly after the concrete was poured.  Yes, our materials were FINALLY delivered Monday December 12.  The stickers on the boxes say the job was processed November 21.  The crew showed up Wednesday December 13, in the afternoon.  Didn't see much progress.  Thursday they were back and began framing.  Friday, it was cold and wet, they showed up for a very short time and left for Christmas vacation.  We are told they will return the week after Christmas.  In the meantime, our materials are sitting out in the weather, including open boxes of nails and screws, as well as all the lumber, doors and windows.  What we are most upset about is that we feel like we have been continuously lied to about starting dates, and excuses for everything...the crew quit, someone broke his arm, the weather..and on and on from our salesman.  We are in possession of texts and emails from him containing his broken promises.  We also are in possession of an email which he forwarded to us (surely by mistake) containing comments from Ron Kempkers regarding TJ Construction and some information regarding the "Koster" job.  Please let Mr. Kempkers know that we also work hard for our money and we deserve respect from Cleary, just like the subs..  "Give this the urgency it deserves, get me the document required, and let’s get this sub taken care of.  He has earned it, he deserves it, and it is up to us to take care of our team." - Ron K[redacted] I have a real problem with.  When you were at MBA, we had several discussions about urgency and expectation.  It is very disappointing that you have a sub crying out for help, desperate for money, let we leave the resolution in the fate of an email to the client, and his discretion as to when he returns a vital document to    you.  He has a home, he has a place of work, and we should be on his doorstep to get what is needed to take care of our sub.  Give this the urgency it deserves, get me the document required, and let’s get this sub taken care of.  He has earned it, he deserves it, and it is up to us to take care of our team.

Dear Sir or Madam,We made contact with this client immediately upon receiving her response to the Revdex.com.  We will save disputing each and every statement, but we do st[redacted]gly feel that many of the statements made are not only one sided, but untrue.  We are working to find optional mold remediation products that the client will accept since she refuses to let us use the one recommended and that is commonly used in this type of situation.  It should be noted that the proposed product to be used is the one specifically asked for by the client, and now she will not allow us to use it.  We have mutually agreed that any questions or discussion regarding potential compensation is not warranted until we have come to an agreed upon resolution to her mold concerns.  We still maintain that 5 years is an unacceptable mold warranty when we have no control over or envi[redacted]ment inside the building during this timeframe.  We are fully aware that this building will be used for animal confinement, as well as calving operations, and those conditions are not conducive to maintaining a dry envi[redacted]ment.  As discussed with this client, we will continue to work with her to rectify and remedy her issues and concerns to the best of our ability, and we are to speak again at the end of the week to discuss additional options for remediation.  [redacted]General Manager of Operations, Western Division
