The continued rainfall this year made in very difficult to do this repairThe pool was repaired yesterday, I believe to the customers satisfaction

I received your letter with Majestic Pools responseFor the most part it is true, except that they left out the part where they would contact the makers of the [redacted] Unit I purchased to see what they coulddo for meSince my unit was the first unit they have encountered that had a second circuit board to burn upWhich means that other Spa's have had similar problems in the past lt you review my original complaint, you will see that I mentioned I have no problem with Majestic Pools and Spa'sOnly the product that they are selling to the PublicThe [redacted] Unit that I purchased from themI stated that I had two (2) FIRES IN A YEAR TIME FRAMEONE UNDER WARRANTY, ONE NOT UNDER WARRANTYBoth fires were caused by the circuit board shorting outBoth fires did not trip the circuit breakerWhich is a safety concern that not only the Revdex.com should raise, but all the other organizations I have complained to should raiseThe next concern all should have is, why these fires occurred in the first placeWhat caused these units to short out and burn upIf this was an auto company the Government would step in investigate why these fires occurred and what caused these fires to occur and force the [redacted] Makers to replace and repair the defected materials that caused these firesAT NO COST TO THE CONSUMER The Government should request that Majestic Pools and Spa's provide them with a record of How manySpa's they have sold, and how many of these spa's have had circuit boards replaceIn order to get an accurate percentage of just how often these units burn upThat would also give an accurate record ofjust how severe this circuit board problem really isIn fact I am now making a formal request under the freedom of information act to obtain the information I have just stated that the government shouldrequestShould the Revdex.com not be able to help me with my complaint, I will use this information when I complain to investigative reporters at the local Television News Organizations, which I am sure will helpme deal with a Hazard and Safety Issue I believe exists with the [redacted] Units Majestic Pool and other distributors are selling thru out the areaThank You for Your Time [redacted]

The consumer called to say the business has taken full responsibility for the issues and they have resolved the complaint

This communication is in response to a claim by Mr [redacted] *** Mr [redacted] contacted us regarding his need for service on his [redacted] on 12/6/At which time Mr [redacted] informed us of his circuit board failure and he was offered the service of repairing his spa and the costs involvedAt which time our service was declined by Mr [redacted] due to the cost of the repairTo date we have not received any further communication from Mr [redacted] We would be more than happy to repair Mr [redacted] s' Hot Tub, at his cost, since his manufacturer warranty has expiredSincerely, Majestic Pools & Spas Walden AveLancaster NY,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAlthough the pool liner repair has finally been completed there is concern that there was a large amount of water that got between the liner and the wall It remains to be seen if this is going to cause yet more problems with the liner and pool wall We would like, in writing, a statement to the effect that if there is more damage it will be repaired at no further cost, in a timely manner, and in a respectful way This was already stated to the company by my husband and we have not received a reply I also wholly disagree that it was a "rain delay" in getting our repair handled in a timely mannerWe called for weeks on end and the employees and management were rude and never returned calls We also requested that the pool closing be done at no charge because of the inconvenience, the added cost of chemicals, water, etcand the continued lack of consideration and rudeness exhibited by managementRegards, [redacted]

Their pool was fine for two weeksThen they called and we inspected the pool and found a hole was in the liner and through the steel paneWe did not put the hole in their pool! Our service tech seems to think it looks like some kind of bullet holeWe did put a patch on the liner for them

We reviewed the situation and we stand by our answerThe pool is over years old. We cannot guarantee the anchor sockets for that long

New liner was installed on 6/and customer is satisfied as far as we know at this time

We are so sorry, this totally slipped thru the cracks a check will be in the mail today

We are sending this customer a check today for the full amount of the purchase

We did not put the hole in their poolThe heater has been fixedWe did go and regarded the yard, however, we could not remove all of the dirt or the drainage would have been affected

A new liner was placed in the pool after a week but that liner also leaked after the pool was almost filledWe were told it must be a bad batch of linersThey had someone come in days and patch it and told us they would order a new liner from a different companyMy main issue is that when it leaked, not only did we lose all that water, but the sand foundation leaked also making the pool base not levelWe probably lost abut 9,gallons on water and not sure how well the pool will hold up losing some of that sandAlso, we have a new pool with a patched linerI don't think this complaint should be resolved until the whole issue is resolved

$WAS CREDITED TO HER CREDIT ACCOUNT

The customer told our employee where to put the productAlso we have a sign stating: Caution Liquids are sold "vented" lids Please secure before transporting

The heater was fixed as soon as we were aware of the problem

In regards to the complaint# *** I filed on 10/13/15. I just received another bill from Majestic Pools for the original amount, but now they are starting to charge me service feesWhere am I at with this complaintThis is the first contact that I have received from Majestic Pools since
I filed the complaintThank you. *** ***

We did call the manufacturer of the heat pump to provide service on the unitWe talked to the customer today and the unit is now working fine

that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Original complaint date :    9-29-16   I was very pleased to receive a call from John [redacted] of Majestic
Pool Co. on March 19th, 2017.  He apologized for the delay in responding
and stated that he would call me back sometime this week, and make an
appointment to come to my home and discuss his plans to make my inground
pool stair jets work.  I am very hopeful that he will be able to make
these repairs soon, unfortunately there may now be a problem getting
parts - but he said he will work on a solution.  This is an unusual
situation because we are talking about an inground pool and these
companies cannot work during winter months and reopen when the ground
thaws.  So, at this time I cannot close my complaint -it is too
premature- but as soon as I am contacted again by Mr. [redacted] I will
contact you.  I hope the work will be completed as soon as possible and
at that time, once the jets are in good working order, I can close my
claim as a satisfied customer.  Also, once the jets are working, I will
happily cancel my upcoming Small Claims Court date now set for
June 2017.  That is why I could not, at this time, choose the "accept"
response and had to choose "reject" - until the problem is resolved.
