They stole money from my account, I literally just needed an updated credit score to apply for a home loan and what a waste of time they couldn't tell me anything except N/A N/A across board ...I ended going with credit karma got info I needed FOR FREE and they charged me anyways $40...FOR NOTHING and was rude, customer service sucks...they are not there to help you just take your money...STAY CLEAR OF THESE JERKS!

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Revdex.com:Since filing this complaint, I have been refunded all the money that was owedI am pleased that this was resolved quicklyI am, however, still offended by this company's deceptive practices having charged me several times after I canceled service and furthermore, having somehow been able to process charges on a card that had been expired for several weeks when they charged itFrom other complaints/reviews I have read, these were not isolated incidents but are, ostensibly, routine practicesOnce caught by individuals that have been overcharged, they do seem to process refunds quickly but it stands to reason that not everyone that gets overcharged catches it and/or takes steps to retrieve those overcharges from this company, which appears to be the point of the overcharges in the first placeI believe that this company's business plan is based on deception and fraudThe name of their site is "clickfreescore," which is deceptive because their "service" isn't "free" at allThere are numerous other companies that do provide a truly free credit score and even credit monitoring service, yet this company charges either $a month (as in my case) or $a month (as in some of the other cases I've read) for poor service compared to the truly free servicesI found their service to be poor because I received only one monitoring notification from this company the week I signed upIf I had received regular notifications, or any other notifications at all in the five months they were charging me, it would have been clear far sooner that they did not cancel my service as they were supposed toI otherwise did not use their service at allI only signed up because I thought it was a requirement to access a rental property site when in reality I had been redirected with the clickfreescore popup that had nothing to do with the rental site when I tried to sign up for the rental property siteI had no use for this service otherwise as I was not trying to monitor my credit but access a rental property site and I did not use their service at allIt costs $to sign up for one week of serviceThey charge a monthly fee after that (in my case $29.95) and after seeing the first charge, I begrudgingly accepted that this company had legitimately, though deceptively, charged me $I chalked it up to a lesson learned and promptly tried to cancel this serviceWhen I was unable to do so online, I called them and canceled over the phone, which should have been the end of itBut they proceeded to charge me four more times and one of those charges was somehow successfully processed by this company on an expired cardThey make it very easy to sign up for their service, which is done online, but very difficult to cancel, which cannot be done online but requires you to expend more of your valuable time and contact them by phone, which as in my case, is still no guarantee that they will cancel your service despite what you are toldI appreciate that they did make me whole by quickly refunding the money owedBut they shouldn't have charged me in the first place once I canceled my service requiring me to spend a significant amount of my time trying to recover those ill-gotten fundsLastly, I do not appreciate this company's responseIn it, they take no responsibility for having charged me four times after I called to cancel my service, which I have the phone records to prove and which they have a recording of that call to verify if the call center staff can be believedThey claim to have refunded one of the four fraudulent charges "as a courtesy" when they legitimately owed me that moneyIt is not a "courtesy" to return money that you have stolenThe reason that they didn't refund that fourth charge initially when I called them to demand they refund me for charges they shouldn't have made in the first place because I had canceled my service is because, despite that I could see my entire payment history when I log onto their own site, the call center claims that they can only see back three months (when queries several times, call center staff did not know why they could not see further back than three months)They initially implied that, for this reason, they would not be able to refund the fourth illegitimate charge because it had occurred more than three months agoIt was only when I would not accept this and demanded to speak to a supervisor that they begin to take steps to refund me the fourth chargeThe company's response makes no mention of the fact that they charged me four separate times illegitimately after I canceled my service, they take no responsibility for having made those illegitimate charges and they do not apologize for having done so and for not having canceled my service when they were supposed to after I called them to do justAs such, I do not accept the company's responseSincerely, Troy [redacted]

The payment details are clear and conspicuous on our home page as well as on the payment page We state clearly the date the trial ends, the monthly amount after the trial and the toll free number to call to cancel This is not in small print Mr [redacted] called on 11/25/ requesting refunds We refunded him as requested at that time It is our understanding that he is now requesting a refund of the fourth chargeAs a courtesy we will refund that charge as wellPlease allow 7-days for the refund to process

Our records indicate that Ms [redacted] signed up on 3/3/ The address and phone number provided match the information on the Revdex.com complaint.When she provided her digit credit card and cvv number for payment, it too matched the address on file with the credit card company.In order to complete the signup process, Ms [redacted] was required to authenticate her identity through a third party verification system She passed authentication.After signing up, Ms [redacted] accessed the portal to retrieve her reports and scores.On 3/15/Ms [redacted] called requesting to be canceled and refunded She was both canceled and refunded that day.Because we fulfilled Ms [redacted] ’s request the day she called us, and before we received the Revdex.com complaint, we ask that this complaint be made invalid

Ms [redacted] signed up on 11/12/at 4:50pm for a 7-day trialOn that same day, at 5:26pm, Ms [redacted] called our toll free number but did not speak to a customer service agent Our system noted that, and a customer service agent attempted to call her back that same day at 5:48pm, however reached her voicemail Other than this single attempt within hour of her sign-up, we have no record of Ms [redacted] calling our toll free customer-service number, the direct customer service numbers listed on the Revdex.com review page where she filed her complaintOther people who signed up for our program during this period were able to reach us without incident or complaintMs [redacted] had days to try to return our call, but instead she asked the Revdex.com to cancel her account for herOf course, Ms***’s account was canceled prior to the end of the trial and was never charged any monthly fees

The customer has been cancelled and will not be billed any further for the services

It is our understanding that the main topic of Mr [redacted] ' complaint is that he had trouble navigating our customer portal He could have, and should have called our customer service department, who would have been happy to help him (the toll free number is listed prominently on our site, and in the email we sent him)Our portal is user-friendly and very easy to navigateIn fact, this is the first time we have had someone complain about it As a courtesy we have refunded him.Since Mr [redacted] did not attempt to contact us concerning his trouble with our portal before he complained to the Revdex.com, we believe this is an invalid complaint and respectfully asked that it be removed as invalid

We received a call from *** *** on September 4th regarding this account. We canceled the account and issued the refund on September 5th for $39.90. *** *** had also contacted us previously, on August 24th, regarding a different account he had with us, which we cancelled at that time

As stated previously, the charges were authorized and not fraudulentThe first call to us from Ms*** was on 12/1/17. We canceled her that day, and never charged her again. I am rejecting this response because:Because of their incompetence and negligence on doing what they did I'm taking out on the 6th and everything I had a payment that was due towards my mother's funeral service that I wasn't able to make and which now they're charging me double for that on top of the $for the card fee and shipping fee for the card so I'm rejecting there offered because they really really messed up my whole month for my mother's funeral and which who's who's going to compensate for that I'm because I had to go and borrow money from Friends that I now owe I believe because it was their fault on why I had to do this and now I owe people money because of this so I wouldn't miss that payment I believe it's all fair that that money gets returned back to me as well because that is not right what they did to me and I sent you a copy of my bank statement showing that they did it and when they did it and to be quite *** and honest they owe me more than $for their negligence of not properly on September 7th when I told them that I was canceling because I had started on the 5th of September with them and two days later I had canceled them and then I had to go and recancel them again and again after that that not only wasted time of mine but it also cause me to lose out on important deal that I've had going on and I'm paying my my mother's funeral service coordinator on which I had to go borrow money for to pay the coordinator so in all fairness they owe me more than $so I'm rejecting it it is not right what they're doing to people and plus when it says click free score you don't put free in the middle and it not be free that's advertising and yes they fraudulently charged my card

The company successfully issued refund in the amount of $back to *** ***’s credit card. The 2nd refund of $was issued by check and sent by certified mail. On Saturday, 8/19/, the ** *** *** attempted to deliver the letter to the address *** *** gave us, but no one was available to receive the letterThe *** left a notice for *** *** to either come to the post office to pick up his letter or to reschedule deliverySince at this time delivery of the final $payment is entirely up to *** ***, we believe we have fulfilled *** ***'s request and respectfully ask that the Revdex.com close this complaint

After I put in the complaint they decide to reimburse my account. They wanted to fight me, and not give back my money, when I said I did order from their websiteThis terrible companyWhen you call me company business practice, is consumer is always right!
