I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that the snide comment about my being confused was totally unneccesary and further supports my claim of the company''s lack of professionalism; despite that, this resolution is satisfactory to me

As stated by Ms***, and as our records indicate, she signed up on 3/24/for a day trialHer trial ended on 3/31/2018. She was billed on 4/1/2018, which was days after she signed up. Her first and only call to us was on 4/2/2018, after the trial had ended. When she
called, her account was cancelled that same day and a refund has been issuedPlease allow days to process

*** *** called on November 10, in regarding an unauthorized charge on November 10th. The customer service agent could not find an account under the caller’s name, phone or email address provided. The agent did find a customer record using the first and last digits of the
credit card, however that customer record was under a different name, address etc. Because the information did not match, the agent flagged and issued a refund of $39.90 to the credit card on file that had the first and last the caller provided. Since a refund was issued on the day the caller called, days prior to his compliant to the Revdex.com, we asked for the complaint to be removed

As stated previously, the first call from Ms*** was on Friday October 30th. She was canceled that dayThe agent told her to allow 3-business days for the refund. The refund was issued on November 6th, to the same card that was originally charged, prior to the receipt of the Revdex.com complaint. We cannot say with certainty when the refund appeared on her card. We only know that we did in fact issue it on November 6th. We are sorry that she experienced an overdraft, however the overdraft was not caused by our action or inaction. As for emails, a refund email was sent on 11/6/at 9:pm informing her that a refund was issued to her account in the amount of $39.90. Another email was sent on 11/7/at 7:36pm informing her that another refund was issued to her account in the amount of $As a courtesy we will, however, reimburse Ms*** for her $in overdraft feesBecause we cannot do this via credit card, we will send a money order to the address we have for her on filePlease allow up to business days for the money order to arrive
Thank you. This has been resolved they gave me my money back. Thanks, ***

I also ant to let you know the company in question went ahead and refunded the 3rd charge I was concerned about and I am satisfied they have refunded all monies taken incorrectlyHOWEVER, It does not resolve his or why this happened in the first place and I remain very concerned about what I consider their unscrupulous predatory business tactics
Sincerely,

Ms*** signed up for our program on 10/5/At that time she provided her full credit card and billing info and agreed to the payment terms that were made clear and conspicuous on the home page and the order page. These were not fraudulent charges. Her last billing was on
11/30/17. The first time she called was on 12/1/17. As a courtesy, she was issued a refund that day for the 11/30//charge. An email was sent that day confirming the refund. Her account has been canceled and she has not, nor will she receive any additional charges.Since Ms***'s desired resolution was met in full before she filed this complaint with the Revdex.com, and she had been informed that her desired resolution was met in full before she filed her complaint, we respectfully request that this complaint be removed as invalid
This company offers a $1 introductory offer for 5 days to give you your credit scores from the 3 major credit bureaus, after the 5 days it charges you a high monthly fee to continue indefinitely until you cancel, It then makes cancellation impossible by not answering the 4 possible phones associated with them. They have very bad reviews across the web, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM ! To beat them at their unscrupulous behavior you should place a LOCK against your credit or debit card OR report your card lost and reopen your account with a new account number. If you allow the charges to go through, you may never get a refund because contacting them will be impossible.

Ms. [redacted] signed up for our program on December 1, 2017. During the sign up she agreed to our terms and conditions, as well as our prices which are clearly and conspicuously posted both on our home page and unavoidably on our order page. It is our understanding that Ms. [redacted] said she did not...
receive the welcome email that reiterates the payment terms, as well as the cancellation confirmation or the refund confirmation emails. The email address we have on file for her is the same one provided in her complaint, and the same one Ms. [redacted] used to log into our service, so we don’t understand why she did not receive messages sent to that email address. Furthermore, Ms. [redacted] called us on 12/11/17 to cancel and request a refund. She was canceled immediately, and the refund request was issued the very next day, before we received her complaint. Because of this we cannot comply with her request, since it was fulfilled before we received her complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:
The membership was canceled the same day, as can be verified through the recorded conversations. The refund for the initial charge was not placed back in to my account until 11/8/17 which was AFTER I filed the complaint, there was never an email sent to me stating I would receive a refund other than the $1 I paid for the credit report. My card should have never been charged to begin with. Why would I call to cancel a membership, I had already canceled. This is why I'm asking for the overdraft fees I received due to this company charging my card. I wouldn't have over drafted had they not charged my card even with the membership being cancelled and just by their response alone tells me even more that this is a company who likes to scam, horrible customer service. Attached is the date I received a refund and the date it was charged.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
[redacted] might be calling the wrong number, since we have no record of any call from him on our customer service line or the corporate number on our Revdex.com listing. When [redacted] signed up for our program she provided her 16 digit credit card number along with the matching CVV code. Complaint: 12524084
I am rejecting this response because: Revdex.com:Since filing this complaint, I have been refunded all the money that was owed. I am pleased that this was resolved quickly. I am, however, still offended by this company's deceptive practices having charged me several times after I canceled service and furthermore, having somehow been able to process charges on a card that had been expired for several weeks when they charged it. From other complaints/reviews I have read, these were not isolated incidents but are, ostensibly, routine practices. Once caught by individuals that have been overcharged, they do seem to process refunds quickly but it stands to reason that not everyone that gets overcharged catches it and/or takes steps to retrieve those overcharges from this company, which appears to be the point of the overcharges in the first place. I believe that this company's business plan is based on deception and fraud. The name of their site is "clickfreescore," which is deceptive because their "service" isn't "free" at all. There are numerous other companies that do provide a truly free credit score and even credit monitoring service, yet this company charges either $29.95 a month (as in my case) or $39.95 a month (as in some of the other cases I've read) for poor service compared to the truly free services. I found their service to be poor because I received only one monitoring notification from this company the week I signed up. If I had received regular notifications, or any other notifications at all in the five months they were charging me, it would have been clear far sooner that they did not cancel my service as they were supposed to. I otherwise did not use their service at all. I only signed up because I thought it was a requirement to access a rental property site when in reality I had been redirected with the clickfreescore popup that had nothing to do with the rental site when I tried to sign up for the rental property site. I had no use for this service otherwise as I was not trying to monitor my credit but access a rental property site and I did not use their service at all. It costs $1.00 to sign up for one week of service. They charge a monthly fee after that (in my case $29.95) and after seeing the first charge, I begrudgingly accepted that this company had legitimately, though deceptively, charged me $30.95. I chalked it up to a lesson learned and promptly tried to cancel this service. When I was unable to do so online, I called them and canceled over the phone, which should have been the end of it. But they proceeded to charge me four more times and one of those charges was somehow successfully processed by this company on an expired card. They make it very easy to sign up for their service, which is done online, but very difficult to cancel, which cannot be done online but requires you to expend more of your valuable time and contact them by phone, which as in my case, is still no guarantee that they will cancel your service despite what you are told. I appreciate that they did make me whole by quickly refunding the money owed. But they shouldn't have charged me in the first place once I canceled my service requiring me to spend a significant amount of my time trying to recover those ill-gotten funds. Lastly, I do not appreciate this company's response. In it, they take no responsibility for having charged me four times after I called to cancel my service, which I have the phone records to prove and which they have a recording of that call to verify if the call center staff can be believed. They claim to have refunded one of the four fraudulent charges "as a courtesy" when they legitimately owed me that money. It is not a "courtesy" to return money that you have stolen. The reason that they didn't refund that fourth charge initially when I called them to demand they refund me for charges they shouldn't have made in the first place because I had canceled my service is because, despite that I could see my entire payment history when I log onto their own site, the call center claims that they can only see back three months (when queries several times, call center staff did not know why they could not see further back than three months). They initially implied that, for this reason, they would not be able to refund the fourth illegitimate charge because it had occurred more than three months ago. It was only when I would not accept this and demanded to speak to a supervisor that they begin to take steps to refund me the fourth charge. The company's response makes no mention of the fact that they charged me four separate times illegitimately after I canceled my service, they take no responsibility for having made those illegitimate charges and they do not apologize for having done so and for not having canceled my service when they were supposed to after I called them to do just. As such, I do not accept the company's response. Sincerely, Troy [redacted]
