Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because it does not at all resolve the complaintThe response does not address, nor even acknowledge, the problem I have repeatedly communicated with Thumbtack about for over a yearThe problem is Thumbtack's recommended price for wedding officiant services is much too low and greatly discourages fair pricing which has the effect of misleading customers and distorting and lowering the market for these services, and has prevented most of my bids from being acceptedI am spending a lot of money on these bids and getting almost nothing backThis is the problem that I have repeatedly explained to Thumbtack, and have repeatedly asked them to examine their pricing and make it more fairI have also asked for someone in authority to contact me and work out a solution to this problem But Thumbtack's response, is always the vague and meaningless claim that they will consider the feedback, but they never give a definite answer or even any indication that they understand the problem so more of my bids will be acceptedSuch was their response to the complaint I filed with the Revdex.comIt was also the first response they sent directly to me recently, referencing the complaintI wrote back to them saying their response did not address the problemThen came their second response which again did not address or acknowledge the problem, but instead referred to a suggestion I had made some time ago to begin to deal with the problem by differentiating between wedding officiant and justice of the peace, the latter being a much reduced wedding serviceThey rejected that, but I want to emphasize that that is NOT the problem here So I am still waiting for Thumbtack to address the actual problem which is the recommended pricing I am still waiting for them to actually talk with me and find real solutions for the lack of accepted bids - real solutions, not the extremely generalized suggestions they makeI'm available at *** and am waiting for their call.Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: even though it explains the appropriate steps to request a refund as a PRO, custsupport is not able to investigate appropriately and approve refundsThe refund is not accepted if the customer contacted a PRO but the customer either stops communication or closes (finalizes) he request without providing a phone number or further contact info
when this happens the PRO loses on the money invested on the creditsIt is an unfair way to keep the credits and the PRO losing on a conversation which produced no further action by the so called "customer"!
Many conversation end by the customer without producing a successful sale or contact by the PROThis action makes THUMBTACK customers requests seen no legit and fake
A good way to fix this problem would be to chargeback a customer for a fake request or to refund credits to the PROSIf PROS are not able to further contact or meets customer a refund of credits should applyAnother way would've to put more trust in the PROS BY CREATING AN ACTION BUTTON and confirm the contact or sale with the original customer did happen and then be charged for a successful request
Being charged credits as a PRO when a request is suspended, deleted or stopped by a customer makes this blind-bidding-system seem fraudulent
