Hello Ms. [redacted], I am in receipt of your inquiry regarding [redacted], a parent of former resident in our housing program in [redacted]. Per the terms of the lease signed by Mr. [redacted]  CHS followed such terms as listed below. The student did not return the Move-in Inspection...

form, indicating to us the apartment was in perfect condition. As the terms of the lease below indicate Mr. [redacted]  was assessed damages appropriately. Additionally please see the move-in inspection attached which indicates the original condition of the apartment and the move out portion which indicates the change in condition. (c) Move-Out Inspections:  Whenever the Resident vacates the apartment unit a representative of the Landlord will conduct a final move-out inspection.  The results and findings from such inspection will be used to compare to the “original condition” at move-in determined in subparagraph (a) above in order to assist the Landlord in determining deductions, if any, from the Resident's security deposit.  Per the lease signed by the resident all charges and policies were followed accordingly.  Cordially,Collegiate Housing Services

Mrs. [redacted],
      We are in
receipt of inquiry #[redacted] regarding [redacted]. Please find the attached
CHS application in this response. All policies were communicated and followed
per the terms of the application and no refund will be applied. Please note...

at
the bottom of the application “Written notice of cancellation must be received
thirty (30) days prior to move-in date in order to receive a deposit refund.”
In addition please note the student/parent listing as their first choice of housing
preference the $429 rate, second choice $419 rate, and third choice $379 rate. The
student was given his first choice of apartments at the $429 rate he requested
on the application. All costs were known and policies followed in accordance of
the application attached. In addition on Thursday June 26th [redacted] called and
spoke to our local Director of Housing requesting to be taken off the lease entirely
as the guarantor. If we can be of further assistance please feel free to contact
us.

Cordially,

[redacted]
