Golden Rule's Service was excellent, speedy and wonderful. Thank you for coming out in the middle of winter to fix our broken water line. We will definitely do business with them again.
I appreciated Alan's quickness in coming to fix our furnace. We were relieved when he was able to come early to fix the furnace. He got us into the right price point on our new furnace and air conditioner. James and Travis did a great job on the installation and were very polite, clean and quiet. Overall excellent service. Brittany did a great job scheduling and handling the paperwork as well.
Alan is the most professional person I've ever had in my home. He was early to the appointment and worked very efficiently to get our hot water heater back up and running quickly. We also signed up their Total Care Club and will definitely be relying on their services or our homes plumbing, heating and cooling systems after having bad experiences with other contractors in the past. Thank you!

They showed up on time in professional looking trucks and were clean. I appreciate everything you did to help get my air conditioner up and running so quickly. Plumbing issues and blackmailing attempts
On thursday, ***, we had a plumbing issue with a bathroom pipe. It was an emergency. It was 8:30 at night. We called all around until we found a plumber that could come out. The problem was they could not come out for over an hour. It was an emergency and we could not wait an hour. So we had a city utility worker come out and help us. We informed the plumber, Golden Rule Plumbing, that we didn't want them to come out. The plumber arrived, and hour and some later. We informed him that the problem was taken care of. He told us we had to pay him $***. We told him we wouldn't pay. He then threatened to put a lien on our house and said he was going to call someone and have them come out and cite us for code violations unless we paid. So we paid. We called them today and spoke with ***,, who refused to apologize and stood by her plumbers behavior.

This doesn't sound anything like how we do business. I can see from the notes here that on *** the bill was reduced by $*** and that Mr *** said he thought it was was a fair compromise and thanked us. Because we have already discounted the invoice by $*** in our system we have this issue as resolved on our end which is why we are surprised to see you contacted the Revdex.com. Whether we received a discount or not is not the problem. We should not have paid for a service that was not given. We were essentially blackmailed by a plumber who refused to leave our home unless we paid him. He also threatened to cite us for health inspection fines unless we paid him. This is not good customer service. We were strong armed. I guess they are ok with treating people this way. but trust this : my reviews of their services online and to our many neighbors will cost them more than $***. I want them to know that their behavior is not christian and certainly not how things are done.
Very through work, at a reasonable price. have given their name to many people looking for furnace work. on time, neat, thoughtful, informative. a good company to work with.
