Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this amazing review.

Comfort Pro was assigned to fix my A/C issues by my home warranty company. I'm glad they did. the technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They did a great job the two times I needed repairs. In fact, when the second issue cropped up, AHS originally sent another company out to look at the problem, and the technician didn't have a ladder. When AHS called me, I specifically requested they send Comfort Pro again. My A/C is old, so if another issue pops up, I'm telling the warranty company to send Comfort Pro.

They are not trustworthy. Both Melissa and Steve (the owners) promise repair dates and constantly revise them without notice. They are part of the American Home Shield scam. Document every conversation with them! They promise return calls and do not follow through. My dates for repair have been revised twice and now I'm told it can't be fixed and they are walking away from the agreement. That is because they loose credibility with AHS. They are not reputable, think twice before contracting with them folks.

Timeline:
1. Jun 22nd, 2020 5:15 PM We received a Work Order from a Warranty company as a Transfer Vendor to the property mentioned above.
2. Jun 23RD, 2020 09:59 AM We arrived at the Jobsite and Diagnosed Condenser Fan motor short to ground, and needed to be replaced, The Part was requested from United Refrigeration CO.
3. Jun 25th, 2020 United refrigeration informed us that the part is on backorder and will be ready around Jul 22nd, 2020
4. Jul 25th, 2020 04:03 PM We arrived to property to install a Portable Air Conditioner as a courtesy because suppliers are having delays with equipment's due to COVID-19, Also the Manager explained to the homeowner the status of the part, During the conversation customer was really upset because of the delay, we also explained to the Homeowners As our terms and conditions (Line 11) clearly state:
"Every attempt will be made to complete the work on the date(s) specified. Because the Company may have no control over equipment availability, delivery, and weather restrictions, all completion dates are estimates".
We understand the frustrations of being without Air Conditioning in the State of Florida, therefore we provide Portable Air Conditioners for certain emergency purposes only.
5. Between Jun 26th and Jul 08th Comfort Pro was in constant communication and attending every phone call from the homeowner, during this time the homeowners were very disrespectful to our team and unwilling to understand the delays homeowners were also threatening Comfort Pro to a point where we decided to do the responsible thing as a company and transfer them to another contractor to fulfill their service request.
6. July 09th, 2020 During this transfer we requested our portable A/C from the homeowners. They refused to give us our property and held one of our employees against his will in their kitchen Comfort Pro had no choice but to call the police to resolve this issue with homeowners
This complaint has no relevance, our team informed the homeowners multiple times the status of the part needed, as stated in our contract we have no control over delivery dates or parts availability. Due to COVID-19, the manufacturers are back-ordered.
in this case, any other negative communications, reviews, Etc. That directly caused damages will be considered Slander and we will pursue to the highest extent.

Usually with a home warranty (American Home Shield) the company's aren't the best reviewed. However, Comfort Pro Tampa has been phenomenal. When I submit a service request I by name request Comfort Pro. They respond quickly and the problem is diagnosed promptly and rectified. Very professional and provides quality work. The service tech was completed by Steven. He was very professional and explained the problem. He took great care of our family, especially in 100+ degree heat..

Thank you so much for your kind words, Jesse. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us--and we agree, Steven is truly a gem to have on our team! We count ourselves lucky for customers like you. We look forward to working with you again in the future!

Such a wonderful visit from Ricky today... professional, helpful, informative and caring... and solved my problem immediately. Great repoire with me and my family. I'll have him and his company come over anytime I have an issue with my mini-air conditioning unit. OUTSTANDING service!

I was very happy with this company. They came right out, and fixed the problem. Very friendly and helpful!

We had a couple problems with our A/C. We also had it cleaned and UV light installed. Everything is working great. We dealt with 3 Comfort Pro techs, Anthony, Dustin, and Ricky. They all were prompt and professional. Also, Rita did a fine job too. I would not hesitate to use Comfort Pro again or to recommend them.

I have edited my review based in a phone call I received from the owner(Steve) of Comfort Pro*
Though the initial visit from one of the Comfort Pro tech was extremely frustrating the rest of the review was based on my initial dealings with that first Tech. Because of that I misinterpreted the information that the Owner(Steve) was attempting to give me. Because of several factors it took a bit but my Air Conditioner is working great. The owner called me today about my initial review. Even though I put his company through the shredder he was not angry or disrespectful. He was generally concerned about what happened. After a great discussion I have absolutely no doubt I will use Comfort Pro from now on. I trust him(Steve) 100%. He did not ask me to change my review. He just wanted to find out why I left it. It was based on the very first visit by a tech who did not represent Comfort Pro in a professional manor. He(Steve) not only gave me his personal number and Email but is refunding my home warranty deductible. Told me if my air conditioner ever acts up again not to hesitate to call him. After my conversation I told him he didn't need to refund my deductible but he insisted. I'm leaving part of my initial review because if it should happen to you do not hesitate to call Comfort Pro and let them know. Steve insists he does not do business that way and will not tolerate it from one of his Techs and I believe him 100%

I have American Home Shield. My Central A/C quit. AMS sent Comfort Pro out to evaluat the problem. Service guy wasn't here for 15 minutes before he tried to sell us a new unit. Told him we had warranty and he scoffed at it. Kept on about selling us a new one. Told him we couldn't afford it but that didn't stop him. My wife asked if we bought a new one how long would it take? He said I can get them out here tomorrow. Again told him can't afford it.

I had such a positive experience with Comfort Pro. Anthony and Rick were quick to diagnosis the issue with our AC system. They both were very reassuring and professional. Highly recommended service!

Very timely in their response.
Got a new coil for the AC through them, approved by our warranty co.
Good service

The repairman were professional, friendly and honest. Best A/C Co. I have had the pleasure, after many disappointing experiences with other Co in the past! Highly recommend!

Great Company highly recommend and they do what they say

I have American Home Shield. My Central A/C quit. AMS sent Comfort Pro out to evaluate the problem. Then he said he couldn't Read model numbers on old one. Called AHS to find out when it was going to be fixed. They said that Comfort Pro hadn't sent in the work order yet. Well a couple of days later Comfort Pro sent someone out to get numbers off compressor. Turns out it was the owner. First thing he said? You have a 2 tin A/C. You need at least 3-1/2 tin. Well he gets the numbers and then says it's 4 ton you need at least 5 ton. 7 days after it started they finally replaced my compressor and fan. Funny considering if I had bought a new one they said it would be done the next day. Funny how when they said I needed a 3-1/2 ton unit turned into a 5 ton Unit after realizing I already had one bigger than he thought. I would never call these people if I needed a repair. Don't trust them at all. Only dealt with them after first day because of my warranty.

Comfort Pro was on time and kept me updated on their arrival so that I could plan accordingly. Anthony the technician was prompt and professional He seemed very thorough. We would definitely use them again.
