I received an email that looked like it was a free choice of gifts for being a valued CVS customer, all I had to do is choose the gift I wanted & pay for postage which cost $7.95. I chose Confident Bright Smile, which also has another company name attached. I received the package, opened the outside but never opened the inside product packaging. After 2 months I was charged $149.95 on a credit card I had paid off & was in the process of closing. I was very upset. I called my credit card company, disputed the charges & then called Confident Bright Smile. They said they'll refund my money & to send back the package. Well, I wasn't getting out due to the pandemic crisis we're living in, so I returned it two months later, July 2020. I never believed they'd refund me, and to this day I have not received my money back. In fact my credit card company had given me a courtesy refund, I closed the account & now it's been reopened because they never received the refund from Confident Bright Smile. I am extremely upset. This company are full of crooks & they are scamming people out of several payments. I read a few of the complaints. They should be forced to refund our money. They also spoke like foreigner's so they are scamming American's. It should not be allowed!

My husband and I have tried for the last 3 months to cancel Confident Bright Smile teeth whitening product subscription with no results. Three months ago I spoke with someone Via phone listed who said they would take care of it and send a confirmation email. I failed to get the name of the person I spoke to and I have not receive an email confirmation of the product. I continue to get the unwanted product. I again tried to cancel via phone last month but your company associates are not answering, the call goes directly to an answering message. Today I tried to cancel again and got the same message that you only answer within normal business hours. No matter what time I call you do not answer and I get the same message.

Like others I was tricked into receiving the product as a thank you for a survey if I paid the small shipping cost. Yes, shame on me, you got my credit card number and set up what I believe is the fraudulent subscription. I have tried your product, my husband tried the product and each of our children tried the product -it did not work on any of our teeth!

I will not be sending the product back for a refund, nor am I asking for a refund because I am concerned the same product will be sent out again to another person. This product does not work for any of us. It did not even whiten any of our teeth 1 shade lighter. I am requesting that you not send me or my husband any more product. I used my husbands credit card number, therefore, the product was addressed to him. I have also notified the credit card company not to honor any more billings from your company.

Please help us to get this company to quit sending and billing us for this product that we believe we were tricked into subscribing.

Same pretty much as the 40 complaints before mine- I was duped into thinking I would pay $7.95 S&H for a FREE GIFT, for just doing a survey or looking at their ad. A month later 3/19/20, my bank charged me $149.95 for Pura Vida Nutra ( confidentbrightsmile.com ) which goes by many names I've learned. Ok I called this company and cancelled, which is something I didn't know I needed to do until today. They promise to me was once I returned the product, used or not, they would give back my money. No emails stating this were sent to me as promised.. There was never any communication unless I called them. I disputed the charge with my bank and now they wont give back the money because I disputed the charge! Make sense? NO even had my bank, them and myself in a 3 way conversation to tell them the dispute ended- now they could give back my money.. STILL they said NO. Although over the phone they had promised once I returned the product they would.. I should have kept the product and run over it with my car. False advertisement for a FREE GIFT .. they need to be sued. Here it is 5/20/20 very angry !!!!!

Ordered beginning product and pen to try. Never ordered the regular subscription. Was never advised of the 14 day cancellation because I never ordered the product. Never received the product!!! My account was billed 149.99 for the product that I never received on 3/4/2020. They don’t even answer their phone with the company name. They just say Customer Service! This is a total scam!!!

I ordered a teeth whitening kit, advertised for $7.95. I tried the product several times and did not notice any improvement, but thought , "What the heck, it was only $7.95" Then, I saw credit card charges for $149.95 and $89.95. When I placed the order, I read very closely and did not see that I would be charged subsequently. When I called and finally got through to customer service, I was told this was outlined in their Terms of Service, which were obscure on their site. I canceled and sent an email asking if I may return the product for a refund and I was told that I could. I returned the product several months ago and have not received even a partial refund. My follow up emails have been ignored. I can provide the email chain.

On March 14, 2020, I accepted an offer for $17.95 to try their teeth whitening service.
On March 17, I received an additional Whitening Kit and a bill for $89.95.
I did not order this additional kit and in addition to being billed $89.95 I was also billed by Platinum Teeth for $149.95.
I have complained to Brighter Smile about these charges and filed a dispute with my Credit Card Company. CTI
I have not used any of this merchandise and will gladly return it as I feel this is a pure case of fraud and deceit.
I received a Cancellation Verification Code: *** from Bright Smile, after I complained and should have not been billed the $149.95 .
I sent a detailed Email to Bright Smile, on May 2, 2020, complaining about deceptive practices.

I filled out an online questionnaire and at the end I was offered a choice of free products. One was a sample of teeth whiting gel from Confident White Smiles for $0 and just pay the $7.95 shipping. I used a credit card to pay for the shipping and on 1/2/2020 the $7.95 was billed to my credit card. A few weeks later I received what I believed to be the sample product, it came in a soft envelope with no introduction letter, instructions or any literature.
On my next credit card bill I saw a charge of $149.95 from Pretty Bright Teeth (Confident Bright Smile, trademark). Since I did not purchase a product for $149.95 I notified my credit card and they handled it as fraud and took the billed amount of $149 .95 off my credit card bill while they investigated the charge. In the meantime I tried to contact the phone number on the back of the sample package that was sent earlier that month with little success.
The credit card company contacted me a few weeks later to say that this was not fraud as I had purchased a sample fro this company. They put the charge back on my credit card on 4/20/2020. Now I tried again to contact Confident Bright Smiles and I did get to speak with a representative. That person indicated that I had 12 days to send back the product for a refund when I had received it. I saw no such information on what was sent to me, and I was led to believe I was receiving a sample of the product for $0 cost and just the $7.95 shipping cost. This is a true misrepresentation on the company's part and they were unwilling to take the product back or admit that the offer was for just a sample. I see from your website I am not the only person that has fallen victim to this company's scam to lure a customer with a sample, and them bill them for a product they did not ask for.

same as all the other complaints--purchased item for $9.95 and they took out $149.00 out of my acct.unauthorized I returned the kit for cancellation and recredit my acct, they are crooks. thieves and take advantage of the elderly and disabled. I have had phone conversations with their rep. repeating saying my acct. will be recredited but never happens. they rip off all clients.
That company scams people. Beware do not do business with the crooks.

Ordered a whitening kit from WowTeeth. Cancelled the account on 1/3/2020 and then Cumisky Teeth Products LLC charged my card on 1/5/2020. Their refund policy states they will refund within 3-5 days but they did not so I protested the charge on my credit card. Now they told my credit card company that I did not return the product even though I have talked to them numerous times. I called the whitening company back and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor but they refused. I asked for a return address and they refused. They refuse to honor their refund policy. I found a return address on their website and have sent the items back. This company tricks people using different names, refuses to honor their own refund policy, refuses to help out in any way. The credit company has even said they have had problems with this company. I am still waiting on a resolution to this problem.

I completed a survey that was emailed to me in February 2020 that offered a free gift that would only bill me for the shipping cost. I was billed the $7.95 after completing the survey and received a whitening kit in the mail a couple of days later. On April 13, 2020 if discovered that I had been charged $89.95 for another kit I did not purchase. I also was charged a whopping $149.95 on March 30 from a company called Obsessed Teeth (I've never heard of them).

I was offered a teeth whitening kit for $10.00 or there about. Nothing indicated that it was not a one time deal. They took $89 and $149 from my credit card . I called and was told I didn't cancel so I was billed for more. They cancelled my account but kept my money. My bank said they could not help because I hadn't cancelled the account. I spoke with a nasty, rude man when I called them.

Was able to select one of 4 products as a free gift for survey at Sams. Had to pay 7.95 shipping. Received product and thought this was through. Nothing said about $149.95. It seems that if I did not cancel In 14 days they charged. Did not check debit history until today,3/28/20, when I received another whitener I did not know was coming.Charge of $89.95. Order date placed on bill 3|12|20 automatic by company and hit checking account 3/13. Called company and was told it was past 14 days. This seems deliberate and may have happened the first time but I was not aware of any agreement and it was not posted in a place that was readily seen. Tried to pull up terms today and it would not come up along with email to cancel all future orders. Did by phone. Also offered to sell me the same product for $29.95. Product caused me gum irritation. This problem appears to be wide spread with unethical advertising and business practices . This has been called a scam by many. 14 days from date on letter head is self serving and does not allow the receiver to respond .This has to be from time of receiving product. I Would like to RETURN this new product and receive the 89.95 credit. I have only had it for a few hours and they tell me I had 14 days to return. I am hoping that this company will offer services at a fair price and see that negative reviews will possibly sink a business. I guess I will find out by the way they treat this 72 yo Veteran.

I participating in an on-line survey with the promise of a “free gift.” As with other complainants, I asked to pay the $7.95 shipping cost associated with the “free gift.” I was then charged one month later for the cost of the kit of $149.95. In addition, I was "subscribed" to recurrent packages and charged $89.95 for the next shipment.

I’m writing to advise you of the practice of Confidential Bright Smile. I had the opportunity to receive a free sample of Confident Bright Smile from a Groupon advertisement. All I had to pay was shipping. This was completed on 1/27/2020 (order ID). I received the samples and thought that was the end of it.
I was in Florida for a month and just returned home and had another package waiting with two tubes (2/24/2020 - order ID) and a bill, stated this was an subscription. I had no knowledge this was supposed to be an subscription and would be receiving these two tubes of whitening gel every month for this amount. I immediately send this back and e-mailed the company with a Cease and Desist letter plus I wanted to get in touch with the Revdex.com and notify them with this illegal practice. Since I originally received the offer from Groupon, I also notified them what this company is doing. They are abusing their responsibility.

I participated in an online survey for *** with a promised of a free gift. I chose a tooth whitening kit and was asked to pay $7.95 shipping. Less than a month later I receive more gel for the kit and charged $89.95. I did not knowing subscripe for this service and get no response from the company.

This is the same as many of the previous complaints.

I answered a survey and was offered a gift. I selected confident bright smile (recommended). They sent me a "free" tooth whitener kit at only shipping charge $7.95. A second order of more whitening materials was sent $37.85 (shipping). There was no explanation as to a trial period of 14 days which I was charged $149.95 and a subscription for $29.95 a month. When I called to dispute, I was told it was too late, but they would adjust the charge. I told them NO. I just want my refund and remove the account. I received an email verifying the removal of the account. My husband overheard the call and laid them straight. This is deceptive practice and an illigitimate charge.

After I was asked not to report this SCAM,-That was my tip off. I immediately called the credit card company who told me it was a pending charge and I could not dispute it until it had been processed. (3-5 business days).

I do not wish anyone else to succumb to this disceptive practice of signing you up for subcription you never agreed to. I will be waitng for a chance to dispute the charge and will be returning the kit to their PO box in Eagle ID. (Hmmmm-

Costco had an offer for this with a $7.95 charge for shipping. I thought I'd try it. I received it. I tried it. For some reason I got suspicious as $7.95 was too little for the product considering what they send you. I found that my 14 days had expired as it took them that long to get it to me from the day of the order. So, I contacted my credit card company after seeing they charged me $149.95! Even had the company answered any of my numerous calls/emails/complaints and I returned it I wondered why in the world they would accept a return on something I had put into my mouth! Eeeewwww, sterilization notwithstanding. So, I've turned this over to my credit card company and am paying close attention to make sure they are not charging me each month for something I am not receiving. I read another review that said one needs to cancel their credit card in order for the charges to discontinue under numerous other names. I hope that is not the case.

I took a survey through *** website. One of the prizes for doing this was the teeth whitening kit. The instructions said I would be billed $7.95 for the shipping which I agreed to. It also said the kit was totally free. I entered my debit card info for the freight. A few weeks later my bank flagged the charge of $149 for the kit and informed me of it, freezing my card. Apparently, this company is on the hot list. I called them and they said the product was only no charge if I returned it before 14 days. They said they would refund the charge if I returned the product which I did. I will file another complaint if I don't see the refund soon.

Ordered the $7.95 trial with a 2 week trial period on 1-20-2020. Received it in a week.Product was working so I ordered a months supply for $149.95 on 2-14-2020. The gal on the phone said the price would be reduced to $89.95. I was happy for that. Todays date is 3-14-2020 and I have not received my 2nd order. Not only that, I reviewed my credit card statement this morning and was charged $149.50 from Teeth whitening out of San Diego, plus an additional $89.95 from an outfit called Obsessed teeth out of San Diego. I also received an email on 2-18-2020 for a refund notice of $149.50 which as of this writing has not been refunded. I have noticed that ordering products on the internet is either a nightmare or a joy depending on the vendor. This company is a nightmare. I do not want the product any longer. I will not do business with outfits like this. Another thing... their phone reps are literally impossible to understand. Perhaps that is what they want. Obfuscation seems to work just fine.
