for five missed Sunday deliveries in May and the two late fee charges
Our billing did get sent out for the month of May. It reflects the first $credit which was given earlier in the month. The bill receives will not reflect the additional credit of $17.90. Please let him know that he will only owe $for the May billingThank you Anita D***

Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. We take these complaints very seriously and we appreciate Mrs***’s concerns regarding the charges for our premium editions Subscribers are notified of the charges for our special premium
editions on page Aof our newspaper every day in advance and have the option to opt out of receiving or being charged for said premium editions prior to their publications. Her account was credited today for the cost of the last premium edition she received and $for the DEC TV Times editions in good faithI spoke with Mrs*** today for several minutes and tried to explain that our options were listed in the newspaper to opt out daily but she was not happy with thatI hope this response satisfied any confusion and rectifies Mrs***’s complaint. Regarding complaint # [redacted] Please let [redacted]now that we sincerely apologize.  She was on a previous special promotion that cancelled the end of December.  A promotion ends but the newspaper subscription does not end it continues at the...

regular rate.  She was given another special at half price which is approximately $16.00 a month on February 11, 2015.
However, from looking at her account I have noticed that that the $5.00 credit was not given and the vacation dates were not entered on her account.   [redacted] account has been cancelled as of April 10,. 2015 and the balance owed is $32.28.  This balance will be cleared and  no money will be owed. I apologize that the paper was not delivered to your Mother's address.  The paper should have been cancelled when you Mother called asking for the cancellation and that she wasn't receiving any papers.  The account has been cancelled and I will have the amount owed of $112.99 cleared out.  She will not receive any more bills from us regarding this amount.

I apologize for the spotty service you said you were receiving.  The offer you received was for the cost of the newspaper subscription and did not include any cost for fuel surcharges if there were any.  I will be sending   We did increase...

 our weekend service to include  a Thursday paper as part of our restructuring and extended the discount for another six months

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did speak with Mr. Boggs yesterday-No I am not happy as that statement about extra charges is NOT on your bill-only on page A2 of the newspaper-small print-not acceptable to practice business while deceiving customers in such a matter-I have to wonder how many people have auto pay with them and how many of their customers are aware-Look at it this way-Guess to make it easy-take 10,000 customers and get a extra 3-5 dollars every month-it gives them some extra income at the newspaer for sure, so this is not right and I have cancellled with them and hope other people don't get took by this practice and maybe if enough people cancel-they will be upfront on the billing and not expect people to look on page A2 in the bottom SMALL print!
