This is in response to Revdex.com ID On 6/11/we did provide service at the [redacted] residence, diagnosed their system and got the a/c cooling again Approximately month later Mrs [redacted] called our office to complain about the service we provided which included Freon pricing and also that she felt we had taken advantage of her husband whom she stated has comprehension problems A member of our management team did speak with her that day and kindly explained our pricing and the fact that it was unbeknownst to us that her husband had extenuating circumstances It is unfortunate that there wasn’t someone there to assist him as we were unaware he didn’t understand We do apologize for any communication shortcomings on our part that Mrs [redacted] thinks happened Also, during our conversation with her it was discussed refunding for the Gold Club Membership purchased of which was processed at that time in the amount of $ Did not see that indicated in the Revdex.com complaint that we received approximately weeks later I trust that she received the refund I might add that our prices are competitive in the market and generated using flat rate pricing As a matter of information, most of those companies that quote cheap prices for R-also charge for labor or additional fees just to install it which adds to the total amount they charge In reviewing our paper work nothing indicated that it was out of order It would have been advantageous for Mr [redacted] to ask for clarification when he was looking over the paperwork when it was signed We would have been more than happy to answer any and all questions Our goal is always to best meet and preferably exceed our customers’ expectations in all aspects of service Quite honestly though we do not see that an additional monetary refund is warranted regarding this situation However, I would like to offer an additional $refund in good faith as an attempt for resolution Please let us know if this would be of interest to our customer Thank you

This is in response to Revdex.com [redacted] Our records indicate the last time we provided service to [redacted] was months ago She did not indicate in the complaint that the repair did not fix the issue with her system which indicates that our diagnosis was correct Also, considering the length of time since service was provided the warranty for the repair has since expired I want to reiterate that our pricing is not excessive and we are competitively priced in the market However, with an interest in wanting her to be satisfied with our service we would like to offer a refund in the amount of $ We feel this is a more than fair offer for resolution If she accepts the offer we will refund by check which she should receive in approximately - business days Please advise Thank you

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted] Please be advised that when Mr***’s concerns were discussed with him we asked for a copy of the other company’s invoice to verify the findings We also at that time did offer a full refund but wanted to review the documentation first before proceeding After that conversation, we tried to reach Mr [redacted] and left a voice mail to remind him about forwarding the invoice to us To date we have yet to receive a return call or the documentation At this point we have determined that we would offer the refund of $to expedite the resolution Please advise Mr [redacted] of this offer If or when he accepts the offer let us know, then we will gladly proceed with processing the refund Thank you

It has been weeks since I accepted the settlement offer of a $refund from Bryant Heating & Cooling I would like to inquire as to when they will follow thru with the settlement agreement? They have not reversed the agreed amount to the credit card that I paid them with Do they have to complete the refund within a specified timeframe? Thank you for your help [redacted]

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted] We do continually strive to meet and hopefully exceed our customers expectations In reviewing this complaint for resolution, please be advised we did take into consideration for the cost of the parts Ms [redacted] is referring to and offered a substantial price reduction on the purchase of a new system Ms [redacted] accepted the offer for purchase Additionally, records indicate that American Preferred Home Warranty Company compensated for the parts that she is referring to as well Considering the reduction in price for the new system plus the amount the home warranty company compensated, we feel that Ms [redacted] has been more than adequately reimbursedFor further details, Ms [redacted] might consider forwarding to the Revdex.com a copy of our response to the Attorney General dated 4/2/ Thank you

This is in response to Revdex.com ID # [redacted] In reviewing the invoice for this service call (see attachment) we did recommend replacing the unit But, our technician did not include the pricing for replacement on the invoice However, as stated by Mr [redacted] an approximate price for replacement was quoted verbally Repair pricing was included as an option on the invoice if not interested in replacement Repairs can get costly as time goes on Rather than continually sinking money into a unit that has issues we do think that repairing is not always the best option Many times it’s only a band-aid and just a short term fix with the unit continually breaking as parts go bad We diagnosed the unit having multiple issues including problem with the thermostat However, it is the customers decision in the end I believe better communication regarding an estimate for replacement would have been helpful We value the relationships we develop with our customers As a matter of goodwill we are interested in reimbursing Mr [redacted] the $that he paid to have his thermostat replaced We apologize for any lack of communication We will await for your reply Thank you [redacted] Manager Bryant Heating & Cooling

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] .It was not apparent when I spoke on the phone with Bryant that they are bringing in (or suggesting) a more technical person to look at the system from the Manufacturer We have had so many Bryant techs (to include what we were told were 'upper level/more experienced techs' with Bryant and the system is still leaking water In fact, it is STILL leaking water (now) The company that Bryant suggested would be involved in the repair of the damaged dry wall got a "C" rating from Revdex.com So we are not thrilled with using that company for repairing the dry wall once we have the water leak stopped So we agree with having an outside/more technical person coming into our house to see the system If that results in nothing different than what we've been dealing with since May - we will revert back to our request to have this system REMOVED from our house with our money refunded We simply CANNOT have a HVAC system in our house that is not even a year hold LEAKING WATER INSIDE.Regards, [redacted] ***

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted] First, I sincerely appreciate Mr***’s complimentary positive comments regarding our services in general I apologize for those few instances that our customer service representative’s responses were less than adequate We do take pride in our services and do appreciate feedback when service doesn’t meet the expectations of our customers In reviewing the history on Mr***’s system, I see that we did service the system on multiple occasions as mentioned, with the most recent in July when we did waive the labor fee due to the labor warranty being expired I’m hoping the system is now working to our customer’s expectations At the time that repair was made we thought that we had resolved the issue & felt Mr [redacted] was satisfied with the resolution It is important to us that going forward he regains confidence in the system performance Currently, the labor warranty is expired, but parts warranty is good through 1/10/ I would like to offer an extension on the labor warranty to match the parts warranty by extending it to 1/10/as well It is my hope that our customer will see our sincere attempt to reach an acceptable resolution Again, please accept apologizes for any lack of service and also for the delay in responding Thank you
