While shopping on groupon I noticed that the company I have used (cream city carpet) in the past in 2 of my homes was offering a deal for carpet cleaning. Before buying I traced my receipt and business card from them to see what I had paid in the past for comparison. Recognizing that this was a better deal than what I had paid in the past I wanted to be sure that I could use it for the rooms I was thinking and decided to place a call to Jason the owner prior to buying the groupon. The conversation started out introducing myself hoping he would recall who I was and after having said that he has done work for me in the past and that I had a few quick questions regarding the groupon offer he very rudly cut me off with a "woah, woah, woah, woah, not if you are a returning customer, I don't make enough to be offering this deal to everyone." I questioned him and stated that there were no restrictions stating that returning customers could not utilize this. He stated it says "one per household" which it does, but asked why wouldn't I be able to use this then? His response after a huge sigh into the phone was "you know what… just find someone else!" With frustration I hung up. After about 2 minutes I called him back stating my feelings in a calm collective voice on how he treated me and before I could finish he blew up screaming into the phone very negative things about not caring who I was and using a lot of profanity. He completely lost it! I told him if he didn't want to hear what I had to say that he has control of his phone line and should hang up on me. After more yelling and screaming into the phone from losing his temper he finally did just that. I cannot believe how I was treated after having this company do multiple carpet cleanings for me and air duct cleaning in the past. I guess I would have thought that we had a better relationship than that but apparently I was just a number. If you don't make enough money then you need to change the fine print in the deal you are offering so that it states "new customers only" because why wouldn't I try and use something like this to save me money? The fact that you treated me the way you did is only going to hurt your business. Fire, Police, Military friends and family that I have will know and be cautioned about you and the kind of business you run and the way you treat your customers (whether you knew who I was or not) you still treated me with much disrespect. The word will be passed on. Caution to ANY customer buying the groupon deal… this very well could be a scam. You don't get to make up the rules as you go along. Had I bought this without a phone call to Jason first I most likely would have been denied the deal or had other fees tacked on to make up for it. This is NOT how you run a successful business. Very disappointed and will gladly find a new company to do the work for me.

They did a great job. This is the best my carpet has ever looked. I will definitely use again.

Just bought a 1995 Chevy Suburban,and let's just say the interior was a disaster, with trash in every possible nook and cranny. The smell was detectable from the outside with the doors closed. On a whim I searched the local Craigslist for auto detailers. I was surprised when I called Cream City Carpets and was actually talking to a person. The owner, Jason, was very friendly and was able to quote me a time and price, site unseen. Just for my own peace of mind I sent Jason some pictures. Thinking that once he saw the pictures he might change the price, or cancel, but that was not the case. We setup a time for Jason to do the work. The next day Jason and his assistant showed up on time. After talking to Jason for a few minutes we once again confirmed the price, again giving Jason another opportunity to increase the price, but one again he held to the original price quoted. Since I needed to get back to work, we settled up payment. Once I got home and looked at the work performed, it was a night and day difference. the stink was completely gone. The stains on the 20 year old carpet were virtually gone. In addition all the hard surfaces were wiped down and protected. All the little pockets and holders were vacuumed and wiped down. The ducts were vacuumed out and deodorized. Definitely exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be recommending Cream City Carpet to all my friends and coworkers.

Great job. Honest guy. Will definitely call him for our next carpet cleaning/ air duct cleaning!

This company definently goes that extra mile. And the results, prices, attitude shows.

Cream City carpet cleaning did an awesome job cleaning the carpets in the house we just moved into. The carpet cleaner was punctual and very professional, not to mention just a really nice guy. We will likely also call them back to get our air ducts cleaned out, since they do that as well.

I just have to share my amazing experience with Cream City Carpet Cleaning today! We have been customers for years[redacted] is hardworking, dedicated and gets our carpets looking like new (no easy feat with two big dogs!). Today I came home from work to find that one of our dogs had a series of accidents in our spare room. I tried cleaning it myself, but it was overwhelming. I thought I would take a shot in the dark and call [redacted]....well he was over in 5 minutes!! I do not know of any other company that would do that...or they would and charge you a lot of money. [redacted] and his associate were fabulous and got our carpets looking and smelling great again! I appreciate the level of professionalism and dedication to customer service so very much. I will always use CCCC and will refer them to everyone I know! A million thanks! :)

I made an appointment and asked the owner ([redacted]) if I could reschedule since they were going to be about a half hour late and unfortunately could not wait any longer since I had another appointment after the cleaning. The owner got very upset with me about rescheduling and hung up on me. I called back thinking there was a disconnect but he got upset with me again and told me to [redacted] off and hung up on me again! I could not believe that any company would treat a customer like this and I certainly didn't deserve the treatment I received from the person who answered the phone who indicated their name was [redacted], the owner of the company. I would not recommend a company like this to anyone.

Had a Groupon for cleaning of three rugs in a 200 square foot area which expired in November.Called the previous day and was told to call back after 5 p.m. because they were to busy,Which I did then I was told by a younger gentleman that they don't take appointments after 5 o'clock and I was told to call back. I asked him if he could take down a note to make an appointment for carpet cleaning he replied no, you have to call back during business hours so I call back during the day gentleman answered and I had some questions about the taxes on there and he went off about how carpet cleaners do more work than waiter said so there's gratuity added to it and he was screaming into the phone and his reception was breaking up and I politely told him he needs to stop yelling in the phone and he got disgusting started swearing at me saying to go to Stanley steamers instead. Called back refused to give me his name. He also stated he was the owner and swore at me more.

they did a great job...he was fast...priced reasonable..and extremely curteous. He did extra work without trying to squeeze extra money...I will use again...

I am so pleased with the work they did. They were able to get the "traffic" pattern out as well as all the stains (including pet stains). I did not expect the great results that I saw. Carpet looks almost like new - even the children noticed. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a very positive experience with this company. The owner and employee arrived on time, were very courteous, explained options, worked hard and the carpet is cleaner than when cleaned by a different company 2+ years ago.

I just had my carpets cleaned by Cream City Carpet Cleaning and they did a great job! Our carpet looks like new. Also, when I called they were able to come out the same day. Great service and great results. Would definitely recommend and will use them again.

Review: Cream City Carpet Cleaning was hired to clean three rooms of carpeting at a duplex that I own in the city of Milwaukee. [redacted] did go and clean the carpeting and told me that he had done a miraculous job. I drove to his home to be sure that he was paid. The lady who moved into the apartment was generally impressed but had reservations about the work in the master bedroom. When another cleaning job came up just recently, I again called [redacted] to do the work. After explaining the job to him and the nature of the tenant concerns,he did not return my calls. I called again today 12/9/2014. I asked if he would be able to do the work, and after some squirming on his part, his comment to me was " [redacted] it, I am not going back to take care of the problem" and hung up. This is in spite of the fact that he advertises 4 rooms and a hallway cleaned for $139, he charged me $150 for three rooms.Desired Settlement: Since Cream City ([redacted]) charged more than his advertised price and refused to honor any sort of guarantee, It seems fair that he return some of the payment made by me. He offers 4 rooms for $139, but only two rooms were cleaned. Perhaps half of the $150 payment should be returned He also has several telephone numbers to contact his service. ###-###-#### or ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.

I called on a Saturday to schedule a service. I was told to call back on Monday. I said I would already have the service scheduled by that time. His response was "Well [redacted] you then".

Review: They advertize on groupon with deals but when we called them they refused to provide services and were very rude and inappropriate

We apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately this Groupon was purchased for an apartment. We attempted to explain to the original caller that in the fine print it does state that there is an extra apartment fee that we must charge. Although we understand she wanted to attempt to negotiate this with us we were unable to waive that fee due to the fact that there would be some difficulty accessing the area to be cleaned. In these cases we always recommend to the customer to contact Groupon and have their money refunded as we did not validate the voucher and actually did not receive money for it. This is the practice we follow in these circumstances as it is most simple and efficient for both us and the customer. We try to accomodate our customers as much as possible and in the event we are unable to reach an agreement we strive to make the refund of the Groupon as simple as possible for all involved as we know Groupon has been very accommodating in these instances.

Review: Purchased [redacted] from Cream City. Spoke to [redacted] (president) on July 2, 2014 to arrange schedule and scope of work. We confirmed an appointment for 7/9/2014. I had explained to [redacted] the urgency of this matter as the house was being sold, with a closing date of 7/9/2014 and as part of the condition of sale the basement carpet needed to be cleaned & sanitized. Today (7/9) I followed up with [redacted] as to the confirmation of the appointment. [redacted] then informed me it was not on the schedule, after a tirade of obscenities. I tried to work with [redacted] on rescheduling for the following day, however his language and obscenities continued with a "nevermind, [redacted]" closing statement.

We'd like to apologize for any inconvenience you experiencedduring the closing of your house. We are dedicated to be diligent and accuratewith all scheduled appointments and unfortunately did not have you on theschedule for that day. This was anoversight on our part' and a completely unusual and rare occurrence for us. Wealways try hard to accommodate our customers and would not normally have anissue rescheduling but because of the 4th of July holiday, busy time of year ingeneral and location of previously already scheduled jobs it was very difficultto reschedule for that next day. We understand that it wasn't handled in the best manner and offer our sincere apology.

From the time he walked in the door he seemed to be focused on up-selling for every little thing. Too bad he was not as focused on getting our carpet clean. He said it was necessary to spot clean the pet stains so we agreed to pay the extra money. The spot cleaning he did worked too well and the cleaning he did on the rest of the carpet was not very effective at all. When he got done we could see the spots he had made with the spot cleaner. He said that after it dried it would not be noticeable. When it dried those spots were actually even more noticeable than when wet. When we called to tell him of the problem he was unreceptive and refused to do anything about it.
Yesterday (three days later) we had another carpet cleaner come to fix the problem. They re-cleaned the entire carpet and got it MUCH cleaner. They showed us the water that they sucked up when done and it was filthy. Now those spots he made are just barely noticeable.
