Review: I have tried to call and sent a request through the website regarding and open account showing on my credit report. The woman who answered the phone took my name and number and said someone else is in charge of my account and that she would give her the message and hung up. Not sure why she couldn't just answer my simple question as to if the account was still showing open through them and have yet to get a call back from the other person in charge of my account.Desired Settlement: This account has been paid in FULL and I would like the credit bureaus updated showing this ASAP

Ms. [redacted] paid her account in full on 4/11/16 - we report to the credit bureaus once per month (9th of each month). This account is scheduled to update as paid 5/9/16. Ms. [redacted] contacted our office on 5.3.16 and spoke with Erica. Erica had advised her that the assigned representative would contact her back. [redacted] contacted Ms. [redacted] shortly after Ms. [redacted] call and advised her that the account will be updated with the bureaus on 5/9/16.We hope this information assists in the resolution of this matter.Thank you,Credit Management Control

Review: I was a member of Golds Gym Gurnee, IL. Credit Management Control, recently sent me a letter to collect a debt for 1043.00 which is not valid. I spoke with several reps over at Credit Management Control and keep getting a different story from different customer service reps. I told them I could send them proof that I paid my membership and cancelled it back in February of 2012 with Golds Gym. Tried calling Golds Gym directly to speak with the owner [redacted] to get proof that I cancelled. But conveniently they are out of business and trying to collect a invalid debt. When I asked Credit Control Management for documentation that I turned in to Golds Gym I am told they do not have any documents. They only have the contract and that is all they have. Please help as this is happening to many other former members of Golds Gym and the debts are not valid. As this business was not very well managed and professional at times.Desired Settlement: To stop trying to collect an invalid debt which I fulfilled and have bank statements showing auto debits each month. And then cancelled contract with Jason Glass owner of Golds Gym.

In reivew of the notes, I am seeing the same information from each call. [redacted] claims he moved "out of area" and advised Gold's Gym in person. Per the contract, cancelation was to be provided via certified mail/in writing. He was also asked to provide proof of payment and/or proof of address showing he was out of the area. The account is currently on hold pending receipt of information from [redacted] and information from our client. Once we receive the information from our client, we will forward to [redacted] for review.

AT THE TIME I PAID THIS BILL I WAS TOLD BY THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT IT WOULD BE REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT I WAS NEVER TOLD AT ANY POINT THAT IT WOULD REMAIN FOR 7 YRS ON MY CREDIT FILE FOR SUCH A SMALL AMOUNT THAT HAS BEEN SATISFIED...I HAVE ATTMEPTED TO CONTACT THE CREDITOR TO NO AVAIL AM I ABLE TO REACH THEM BUT THEY WERE EASILY AVAILABLE TO TAKE MY PAYMENT TO PAY THIS DEBT OFF..Desired Settlement: I AM SEEKING A RESOLUTION OF HAVING THIS DEBT REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT FILE SO THAT I MAY SEEK THE PROPER SCORE NEEDED IN ORDER TO PURCHASE MY 1ST HOME. In review of this account, we had communciated with Ms. [redacted] in 2013 and in 2014 she decided to accept an offer of a 2 part settlement on this account for a total of $500.00. Credit Management Control does not offer deletion from credit files for payment. We report paid accounts as paid to the credit bureaus.

Review: My name is [redacted] and I recently applied for a home mortgage and was told several accounts were on my report that are not mine. I am being told these accounts originated in Texas. I never lived in Texas nor did I authorize any accounts to be set up in Texas using my information.

Credit Management Company [redacted] Account # [redacted] A collection account with a balance of $345.00 is one of these accounts. This is for a Just Energy Tex account.

I would like to have someone within your organization review this and have it removed from the credit bureaus. I would like a written response that has been performed. If you choose not to have this updated correctly I'd like an explanation as to why, be sent a copy of the original paperwork and the name and number for a follow-up investigation. This is not my account unless documentation is provided to me that proves otherwise I will be taking this to the next level.

Our office had received a letter from Ms. [redacted] 4/2/14. Upon review of the account, the representative did close the account and requested removal from the credit bureau which will submit electronically 4/9/14. This is a credit bureau reporting error not on the part of Credit Management Control. We have same last name, similar first name and an address in TX so I'm not sure how the bureau placed on Ms. [redacted] credit file. Also, Ms. [redacted] can dispute directly with the credit bureau(s) that are reporting this account as a wrong party/similar name.

I hope this information assists in the resolution of this matter.

This agency has repeatedly called and harassed me over a bill I do not owe. When I have told them to stop calling me their reps hang up on me or place me on hold and continue to harass me.

I called to find out who this company collects for because their name was on my credit report. A female answered the phone and when I asked her the question of who does your company collect for she replies I just told you this is CMC. And I asked her the question again who does your company collect for she hung up in my face. So I called back twice, The first time someone picked up and hung up. The second time a man answered who was polite enough to answer all of my questions, but when I told him about his co-worker his reply was so passive its unbelievable. He didn't even try to get to the bottom of it.
