During my service in the last few months up to maybe a year I had been dealing with remote hacking into my Samsung phone. Last week I had found out my personal cell phone was registered with Samsung and it was not by me. I also didn39t want to sign their agreement as it would allow them to know my personal login to my cell phone device. It defeats the purpose of having a log in. I had an engineer and an IT friend look at my phone on various occasions and visited reputable forums for Samsung and Samsung39s site and all link to network hacking issues as well as someone doing device control without my consent. On 33017 my IT and a google rep at work gave me the impression that they were quothelpingquot me secure my phone with quotsecurity appsquot when I 100 believe their intentions were otherwise. I paid my phone bill twiceonce over the crickett phone application and once in store. I have receipts for both transactions as well as a bank statement showing proof of payment.the cricket app somehow linked someone else39s number to my account and my initial payment paid someone else39s bill.I went in store to make a second payment to get my phone to turn on.I walked out of the store and my phone only had service for a few hours. I called customer service in store the first time and they said that there is nothing they can do unless I paid my bill again and that I would not have the 107.00 credited to my account. I called again today on June 24th And spoke with someone named o.j. his employee number is oo508u.he told me to go back to the store and call back.

Purchased a new phone Saturday June 3rd. Was unable to receive calls on the phone it would ring but not let me answer. I spent a few days trying to go through settings before returning to the store on Monday June 12. Both staff present went through the phone settings as well and repeatedly tried calling my number. Nothing worked. The clerk helping me said quotI39ve never seen that beforequot and told me to call the warranty department. I came home and called it explained the details and she told me well your phone is only 9 days old you don39t want a refurbished phone call and talk to a manager. I called the number she gave me and the manager told me I only had 7 days to return the phone. I told her that information was not on the receipt and not given to me and I had spent time trying to resolve the problem. She repeated nothing she could do call the warranty department. This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by***. In the complaint, Ms. states that she was unable to receive calls on her newly purchased device. After 10 days of purchasing the device, on June 12, Ms. returned to the Authorized Retailer and attempted to get a new device from the warranty department but was unable to receive assistance. Ms. is requesting a refund of the remaining $149.99 paid.
As per Cricket Wireless' Refund Policy, customers are allowed to receive a full refund of a cell phone purchase if the phone is returned within 7 days of purchase. Ms. returned on day 10 of purchase, making it ineligible for a refund. Additional information can be found online at ***.
All Cricket Wireless Authorized Retailer employees are trained to inform our customers of the Refund Policy at the time of purchase. Cricket's Refund Policy regarding service payments, devices and accessories is also posted in both English and Spanish in the store. In this particular store at ***, the Return Policy is posted on a full color 8.5 x11inch poster on the left of the cash registers above the credit card Point of Sale system. For further convenience, the Device return policy is also printed on the front and back of the sales receipt. Our service payments, device and accessory refund policies can also be found online at: ***/return***. Upgrade fees are part of Cricket Wireless' Authorized Retailers fees. These fees are non-refundable. A list of all non-refundable and nontransferable store fees are also posted online at: ***
Cricket devices generally carry a one-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. If Ms. were to have active Cricket Wireless service we could assist her in replacing the device with a new Cricket device. All devices including warranty devices are locked to Cricket Wireless' network. We attempted to communicate with Ms. on July 7, 2017 and July 11, 2017 via telephone and via email.

I was NOT informed that returns were only 7 days. This is a very, very short return policy. To reiterate, their brand new phone did not work, if I had known I had only seven days I would have gone on sooner and not tried to resolve myself. I want a refund. It is in the box, like new. And I will return to the store. I already stated I do NOT want or expect a refund for the activation fee or anything else.
And I responded twice to his email, he did not respond to my return email
Poor customer service! Will not refund for services that can not be rendered. I was cut off from a chat and 2 phone calls requesting a reason as to why no refund. I would not recommend Cricket to anyone!

This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by ***. In this complaint, Mr. states that the he filed a claim with Asurion and that it was subsequently denied. He states that the claim was outstanding for four months. Mr. states that he wants his Kyocera Hydro replaced, because he is enrolled in Cricket Protect.
Mr. was contacted by*** via telephone on 7-5-2017. He stated that he could not verify one of the security questions via Asurion and that he was denied. Mr. further confirmed that his claim was finally approved and that his phone was successfully replaced.
An exception was made and a half month courtesy credit was issued to his account, because we value Mr. as a customer.
We value feedback and apologize for any inconvenience or poor service he felt he received.
Cricket strives to provide excellent service and we regret when that high standard is not met.

Review: I purchased a cell phone at the Cricket store located in [redacted] Cricket has a 7 day no questions asked return policy which I reconfirmed in person when I purchased the phone, via Cricket online, and via telephone with their headquarters. When I tried to return the phone 6 days after purchase the store personnel not only refused to take it back, but refused to speak to me at all, instead treating me rudely by yelling at me and my grown son in a threatening manner, yelling at the Cricket customer service representative I called for assistance while in the store and in general was abusive. I have spent countless hours on the phone with Cricket customer service overseas and their corporate headquarters in [redacted] to no avail.
