We (Culligan Water) were made aware of this complaint via postal mail received and read on Tuesday, January 3rd I spoke with *** *** to ensure that any delays in receiving notifications in the future should now be amended.Upon reviewing and investigating the customer's statement of the
problem we have found that we are in complete agreement with MS*** *** A error was made on our end as to what type of equipment was in the home We should have waived the service call fees at the time we found the equipment to be mistated on our paperwork and something we could no longer service.I have spoken with MS*** *** and apologized for our error and let her know that we would be refunding her the amount of the service call

*** ***I would agree to having a technician out here to diagnose the unit but upon knowing it does not work I believe Culligan should take their defective product which hasn’t worked in years and credit the account to what they are trying to get the rest of unit price I cannot state more to the company or you the Revdex.com that this unit has never worked which after numerous calls to get it fixed and rid of were ignored we stopped paying which in my eyes is more than fair because of their lack of response and customer service we had no other choice

In order to take out a loan for jewelry, you have to fill out an application and sign the paperwork. If the customer gets approved and decides to make the purchase, they have to sign another piece of paper with the total amount they will be paying and the terms. This is a contract
that is non refundable, no exceptions

The customer requested that some additional plumbing be done at time of installation and that there may be additional costs for plumbing The sales person was informed of the additional costs and instructed to contact the customer and let them know what the bill would be Our sales
person, *** *** forgot to make the call and the customer received the bill and was furious about the bill and the fact that his sales person did not let him know this expense I have issued a credit for $plus tax leaving the bill of $ I have addressed the issue with the Sales Manager and Sales Person and hope that the *** family accepts our apology.Let me know if you need Culligan of Pittsburgh to do anything else.Thank you,*** *** CWSIGeneral Manager

I spoke with a representative earlier today and due to the format the message came up on my phone I accidentally checked accepted their response. I do not accept their response I have been in contact more than since March 2016. I have been trying to get the system taken out I have reached out numerous times to our sales rep and have had a terrible time dealing the culligan representatives. The machine has not worked since it’s been installed and it’s ridiculous they still expect us to pay for it. Regards,

Culligan agrees to diagnose the system and ensure it is working properly at NO charge to the homeowner.   We believe this is a very reasonable response.  We have not been on site to diagnose the equipment in almost 2 years.    The homeowner may have spoke with someone but did not allow us access to review the issue.   Culligan will not remove the equipment and will not provide a refund without the opportunity to actually have a technician on site and an opportunity to resolve the issue.    The customer has had multiple conversations with our office but about billing issues.

The equipment was installed to remove hardness from the water.    Culligan replaced the existing equipment with brand new equipment when the homeowner purchased the unit.   The water softener was producing soft water and working as designed.     We will offer a free service...

call to evaluate the water softener and water results.   We have not been able to evaluate the system since March of 2016.     We believe it is only reasonable to allow Culligan to evaluate the system after over 2+ years.    The only correspondence the customer had with Culligan since March of 2016 was in regards to billing issues.      [redacted]

Again I do apologize that [redacted] feels this way. However this is the first complaint we have received about our customer order form. Our customer order form as previously stated is the universal Culligan corporate approved order form. I will pass this complaint along to the corporate office for their review. I have attached a copy of both our customer order form and a delivery ticket to illustrate the difference. We have been in business at this location for more than 60 years and have always prided ourselves on excellent and honest service. Have a good Holiday weekend!

As indicated in my original complainant my concern is not about losing$100. However my intention is provide awareness to future customers of this company.
Public needs to be aware of the dishonest techniques & tactics that Culligan uses.
An honest business clearly explain the terms of their agreement using words not hiding them in a small box  
In my case there was not one word mentioned relative to 12 months agreement.
I welcome & encourage the Culligan to send you a copy of my delivery ticket or what they call "agreement" then it will be easily obvious how they basically hide their terms . A very small box with a very small print. Compare the size of the number"12" with the rest of the numbers on the same document.
