I called Mt. [redacted]r today in regards to his missing piece. I have attached the picture he needs or was missing from the replacement order. I apologized for the inconvenience.I have forwarded the picture to the manufacture to review and respond to missing item. I will continue to work with him on getting this resolved. I advised the client to keep this open until resolved or he feels satisfied. He expressed the concern with an internal Agent's lack of response which I will address once I review the call. We care how our Agents address the clients concerns and will not tolerate further frustrating a situation which could be easily resolved with proper follow up.

Understanding the the clients concerns we are still unable to refund for a product that is outside of the warranty period. All warranty information is stated on the product pages.  CARiD is not doing anything unlawful, we facilitate all warranty claims within the products stated period of warranty.  Unfortunately regardless of if the warranty period is 3 or 6 months the product is still outside of both of those time frames.

The new pictures were just received yesterday, and will be forwarded to the manufacturer for a possible warranty with an exception for a refund. We appreciate his cooperation with this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have an invoice statement from my tire shop indicating out of round from the defective wheel. What's in question is what are their variances?  I'm inclear of what that their allowances are all I know is the wheel they sent back to me vibrates on my truck and it was balanced with the same machine that was used with the the replacement wheel.

I am rejecting this response because: Yes I called after installment two days after installment my problem is I had the item for two days I have order a lot of things from Carid and had no problems but this right here I have a problem with I pay $140 something dollars for a item and have it on my car for two days and something happens to it and that's it? No that's not right! there's no damage to the car just the grill the thing is cheap!

We are very sorry that the client is experiencing vibration issues with 2 of his 4 wheels. Vibration can be caused by many factors. One of those factors is due to the wheel or wheels being out of round.  Throughout the automotive industry an "out of round" wheel is considered anything that has...

a Lateral or Radial run-out of more then 0.035".  The pictures provided to us by the client show that the wheels received are within the recommended specifications. With proper tire balancing and force matching the client should experience no vibrations caused by the Radial or Lateral run-outs of these wheels. At this point the client should check for any possible interference, Tinnerman clips and rotor screws can also cause vibration issues. At this point there is nothing we can do to assist the client with his request. In the event we were to replace 2 of his wheels they would also be within the same specifications.

We are extremely sorry this client feels we have not been trying to fix his issue. In this situation there is nothing to fix as the parts received are correct for the vehicle.

We spoke to Mr. [redacted] regarding his issue.  Unfortunately this order was not handled to the best of our ability.  The sales person to place the client's order misquoted the delivery time and our supervisor did not expedite a replacement as she should have.  After escalating the issue...

we have settled on a return for redund and provided the client a gift card for $25 to be used in the future.

The pictures received by the client show the pieces fitting the way they are supposed to. Unfortunately since the majority of each kit has been installed we are unable to have the item returned for refund. Upon opening any dash kit there is a large stop sign that states to dry fit all pieces before...

installing to ensure proper fitment.  Additionally after speaking to the manufacturer of the dash kit this is confirmed for the 2015.

I am rejecting this response because:First and foremost if you look at the attachments the webpage ad from CARID.com shows the part requested, the part received is not the same part.  This has been the heart of the problem and it should have been a no brainer from the beginning.  How can a company advertise a product and then bait and switch to another and not fix it when the consumer requests?  Also we were told that we would be getting a refund on a Friday but CARID call us on Monday and told us that was not true.  Funny how their phone notes are missing that little bit.  The pictures speak for themselves and the ad is still currently up on their web page but they don't even carry that part.

Attached are the two phone call logs between our rep and Mr. [redacted]. The main complaint from the client is the lip size. Nowhere in either conversation is the lip size discussed. We disclose on the site that lip size will vary depending on the size of the wheel. Our sales rep put together a wheels and tire package based on the wants of the client, complete with a discount. During the 2nd call, the sales rep went over the order again before confirming that the client wanted to place the order. order. We advised the client of the back order status once we were advised of it. We left several voice mails and emails regarding the delay, but never received a reply until he filed a charge back as an unauthorized transaction. The client placed the order online without a sales representative, so the transaction was clearly authorized. Due to the charge back we have cancelled the item and a refund will be refunded back to [redacted] once the dispute is closed. We can't refund prior to the dispute being resolved because the client claimed fraud (unauthorized transaction).

This issue has since been resolved.  We were able to approve the product to be field destroyed and the client was refunded for the defective product.

The client has been refunded via PayPal. This is why a refund can't be issued until a dispute is resolved. Had the refund been issued prior, the client would have been refunded through PayPal as well as CARiD.

Please be advised that we are replacing this item to avoid any further complications with this order. However, you did indicate that you saw our name on your invoice and feel it was us but you weren't sure if it was a different vendor. Regardless we are ordering the item. verified the fitment for the 2016 with the manufacturer and this is correct. We have been in touch with this client and have even made an exception to return it for a full refund, even though there is no error by CARiD or the manufacturer. The return paperwork was requested today, and we will email it to the client as soon as we receive it from the manufacturer. A full refund will be issued upon receipt and inspection.
