Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I accept that I received my deposit back. But I would like to mention that the website says 60 days typical installation. That should be removed. And also they took my money out of my account the day I ordered the garage. They should not be allowed to do that if they can not guarantee installation. To me that false advertising.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
It says I can get my deposit back but no directions to contact [redacted] to do so. How do I receive a refund? If this was all made clear to me when I purchased from Carports.com it would have saved us all a lot of time and trouble not to mention the hard feelings.

this company is terrible! we ordered a carport in August of 2016 and as of December 2016 we have had or heard very little about it. I had to keep calling and constantly got the run around and one excuse after another. on person told us we could get our money back if we wanted. I even left a message for the President of the company and never call a call back. so my suggestion is don't use this company!!

We purchased a building from TNT Carports and due to THEIR specifications on the concrete, it was too big . . . well, that leaves water entering under the building after hitting the concrete that sticks out. Their "customer service" STINKS! I have emailing for MONTHS to no avail. We like the building itself . . . but their "F" rating that is "due to not being able to please everyone" is crap . . . it's not about anything other than, if you have a problem WE CAUSED, you're on your own! We need "flashing" or something to keep the water out. It was their fault, they should fix it!

We bought a cover for our camper from TnT in January. Delivery was scheduled and the carport was installed promptly. My husband looked at the carport and everything "appeared" to be fine.
Sometime later, it rained. The carport leaks at the seam, right in the middle, onto the camper. My husband called the company and was told he signed the paper and it was basically too bad.
After much discussion, such as how could we know it was going to leak when it was delivered on a sunny day, they finally agreed to send someone out. Never happened.
Continued to call and leave voice messages. Finally someone returned the call and promised she would call back on the following Monday and schedule. She never called. After vacation, called back to find out that lady is no longer with the company.
Left a voicemail for the person who is 'supposed to be' handling her territory. Waiting for returned call.

Well as of today the issue seems to be resolved. They agreed to give me $150 discount and they have to send me 10 new legs (wall post) because the ones I received were all of various lengths. When I'll receive them is a mystery. The building took 12 weeks to come in so who knows when they will be sent.
I paid the balance today.
Thanks,

Good Afternoon,
In reference to [redacted], we understand customer placed order back in on September 16, 2014 and was also contacted November 12,2014 threw November 13, 2014 leaving messages to try to get out on schedule.  The return phone call was never made by customer there for...

we could not set up an appointment with him unfortunately we had to send installers with other buildings that where scheduled.  Once the truck load is sent out we need to be able to complete another truck load in the area which could be a couple of weeks out.  Customer did call in and spoke to our scheduling department after the truck load was in route and stated that the number he had left with us was his work phone number and he was out of town.  [redacted] sales manager also spoke to customer and has got different numbers to be able to get in touch with customer, we will rush order as much as we can and give him as much notice as possible.
Sincerely,

The company called and finally scheduled delivery, 3 months after placing an order for two buildings and then didn't show or call. No answer at any number. Called in the morning, 45 minutes on hold and Rescheduled . Repeat no show or call. 2 days lost work. Showed up on 3rd scheduled day with only half of the order, one garage not two. I called, same 45 minute hold time, asked for the supervisor. Customer service denied that I reminded them on each and every contact I made that there were 2 buildings, in fact blaming me for their mistakes. And that is when I lost my cool, saying my 2 year old Grandson could do a better job. Out 3 days work, and the deposit on the missing building. I'm wiser now and hope you don't make my mistake buying from TNT CARPORTS.

had great satisfaction in dealing with TNT CARPORTS IN 2010. great product, installed in
just 3.5 hrs.just sold property & TNT was kind enough to send copy of original invoice for
tax return.recommending to all.

Good Morning,
Hope everything is well, in reference to complaint on Alan Cooper this refund has been issued it was put back on credit card it normally takes 2 to 5 business days top show on card.  If you need any further assistance please let me...

know.

Just wanted to let...

you know that T-N-T sent us a check for our refund today 02-06-14. Thank you for taking time on this matter. I feel if we hadn't contacted the Revdex.com they would have continued to ignore our attempts to get our refund. Again Thank For all you did in this matter.

Good afternoon,
In regards to this complaint this order was placed September 30th, this order comes out of our Pittsfield Massachusetts shop.  We are extremely behind in that area since is so close to winter we are receiving a ton of order our cut off date of install in that area is...

October the 1st.  Anything that we receive on or after this date we can not  assure  install depending on weather.  At this time I can not assure that the carport would be installed with in the next three weeks we can get installed, we can get deposit back.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Good Morning,

In reference to [redacted] in [redacted] ME, we acknowledge that there is repair...

work that had to be completed on building  our company has scheduled and completed repair work on Monday November 3, 2014.  There was and outstanding balance of $914.80 which TNT Carports has decided to deduct since it did take so long to have repair work done.  As a company we apologize for any inconvenience that our company may of caused.

Sincerely,

I have a lawyer writing a letter to TNT.  Trying to get the parts delivered to me to so I can have another company install the doors, free of any charge of course.

Good morning,
The claim by Mr. [redacted] is an invalid one.  He knew all along that the legs of his carport would be 12' tall and he decided to purchase it.  Only after it was installed did he realized how tall 12' really is.  TNT  Could make the building the exact size...

he needs if Mr. [redacted] would agree to pay the price of this modification but Mr. [redacted] expects this service to be provided for free and that is not reasonable.
When I spoke with Mr. [redacted] and told him that the dimensions stated on the order form (as well as the ones that were used for installation), he said that maybe he and [redacted] (the sales rep) agreed to it, but "it was all Greek to him". I am sending a separate email with the receipt that was sent to Mr. [redacted] on April 16th, 2015, which clearly states the dimensions of the unit he bought.

Please let me know how else I can assist in finding a prompt resolution to this problem.

Sincerely,

We have had 2 carports from this company. One at our previous residence, & our most recent one for this home was purchased in 2008. We were very pleased with the entire process, from ordering, to delivery & installation on both carports. We are still happy with this quality product. Thank You T-N-T! ~ Ocala, FL

Good Morning,

TNT Carports, Inc. has received complaint #[redacted] on [redacted].  The customer was on scheduled for install he opted not to be home for installation when the installers arrived the concrete slab was bigger than the building and off square. ...

Without the customer not been at home it is hard for the installer to install something they think may not turn out to the customers satisfaction.  The concrete slab was not marked to show the installers exactly where the installation was to take place which makes it even harder, the installer at that point decided to cancel the install and reschedule approximant when customer would be at home.  They did leave to next installation on list and where not able to be reached to go back.
When customer called the office he spoke to scheduler who at that point tried to explain situation to customer, he at that point advised her he could not understand her and the phone call was forward manager.  the phone call was transferred everything was explain to him as well as the non-refund policy he had agreed to when he purchased the unit.  At this point customer started with treats we asked for time to get with shop foreman and installer and look further into situation and we would call him back with a definite answer.  Customer did not give us time to get with installer nor shop manager he called that same afternoon, he was explained that installer was out for several day before he came to our shop at that point customer was also making phone call to our sales manager Fidel M[redacted].  He actually emailed pictures to Fidel M[redacted] of concrete slab and you can see with the fence the slab is not leveled.

TNT those not feel like it has made any break in contract, we made a good faith effort to deliver and install unit and notified buyer at least 24 hours before delivery.  The down payment that was put on order was put back on card customer should see back on card with in 2 to 5 business days.

Sincerely,

Back in 2006, TNT installed a carport for me. At that time, it was through a third party service and I had not big issues with the install. When I needed to close in the unit with a garage door, I decided to call TNT since they had done the original work. I placed an order in June 2014. Weeks went by, and I never heard back from anyone about scheduling, and since I live in a northern climate needed to be sure it was done before winter. In July and August, I called multiple times and spoke with Stephanie and Danielle. Always, I was told someone would call me back to schedule, but no one every did. It was VERY frustrating!! Finally winter arrived with no callbacks, and no garage installation. In January 2015 I was so unhappy, I decided to ask for a refund and cancel the order. This process was exasperating and took twelve phone calls to multiple parties, Stephanie, Danielle, and finally Fidel. Finally, in Febuary 2015, Fidel contacted me, and processed a refund for my deposit. Fidel was pleasant and apologetic, and I shared my serious concerns about the company's service delivery, or lack thereof. I seriously have called this company over twenty times over the last year!! Now it is August 2015, and I cancelled the order back in February. Yesterday, I receive a call from Stephanie to schedule my installation! Over a year later!! Needless to say, I declined the offer. This company does provide a good product, but their business model and service delivery is seriously flawed. I wasted hours of my time dealing with them.

Good afternoon,

Hope everything is well, in reference to [redacted] we acknowledge he placed his order and we are working on trying to schedule an appointment as soon as weather permitting.  It is the time of the year were the weather plays a big factor on install we...

can not put any of our buildings on frozen grounds nor can we send our installer while it is raining or snowing or below freezing temperatures.  Normally this information should be explained by the sales person I understand there is an automated email sent stating two to six week but please understand weather plays a big role on the installations.  Once weather clears we will call two to three days prior to coming out to install, we apologize for any inconvenience.
Sincerely,

Estephanie M[redacted]
