We are in receipt of [redacted] ***’s complaint and will address the situation below.Please note that [redacted] showed an interest in our program, so we presented her our various package options to choose fromWe provide a physical list of different options for potential clients to viewWe also explain to potential clients that they will receive a large discount for joining that same day [redacted] was well aware of the fee cost when she chose the package which best suited her needs.We then provided [redacted] with an agreement to sign which listed the dollar amount for her programHer credit card receipt also had the amount on it, which she signed as well [redacted] appeared excited to become a client and we were looking forward to assisting her in finding a companion[redacted] later contacted us and stated she was unaware of the costWe spoke with her several times about this situation and explained that sometimes people have buyer’s remorse, but we would very much like to continue working with her and get her started with the services[redacted] signed an agreement which clearly states that our fee is non-refundableWe had [redacted] sign directly above the non-refundable clause in the agreement to avoid any confusion [redacted] is a very sweet woman and deserves happinessWe only wish to help her meet someone specialRegards, DC Singles

3/26/To Whom It May Concern, Please note that our Director of Client Relations reached out to [redacted] in an attempt to resolve this directly with herOur Director left her a message and we have yet to hear back from herWe have been working very hard for *** [redacted] and wish to continue working for her[redacted] received matches/referrals within a month time frame( [redacted] disputed her charge at one point in time and was on hold for some time as well.) We explain to our clients that we search on their behalf on a monthly basisEverything has been right on schedule for her [redacted] has been matched with men who have been very compatible with her, according to their profilesIn her complaint, she mentions the “quality” of these matches in a negative lightHowever, her first match is a Physician, her second match is a Vice President for a Finance company and her third match works in Sales and is very successful These men met various qualities [redacted] was looking forWe explain to our clients that we are using our best judgment when providing referrals and that we are matching them with those who are “most mutually compatible” with themWe use preferences as a guideline for matchingWe try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for and hope for the best with each and every matchWe also explain to our clients that they will not like everyone they meet [redacted] agreed to give us chances to find someone specialShe has only met of the matches we have sent to herShe has barely given the program a chance to work for her[redacted] was presented our standard program options, as all potential clients are during the interview processSome programs include more matches for more money and some programs include less matches for less moneyEveryone receives the service they pay forHowever, we do not offer for our clients to view photos, so the gentleman who told [redacted] this must have misunderstood some information [redacted] ’s Relationship Specialist, Rebecca, works closely with our matchmakers who spend all of their time and energy searching on behalf of our clients to find them the best possible matchesWe have a large team of people who work together for our clients Our Relationship Specialists spend the majority of their time recruiting and interviewing new clients on behalf of their existing clientsThe Relationship Specialists are in and out of interviews throughout the day, so it can be difficult for them to speak with clients, however, they are always helping the matchmakers find matches through suggestionRebecca actually suggested a few gentlemen for [redacted] and has been overseeing her programThe men that were suggested were actually matched with [redacted] Rebecca also has a new man in mind for [redacted] and we would like to speak with her about him when she returns our callAlso, please note that the matchmaker, Stephanie, (who is [redacted] ’s primary matchmaker) has been working extremely hard for her and has been in communication with [redacted] on numerous occasions for lengthy periods of timeStephanie has even had an hour long conversation with [redacted] She has been there for [redacted] and always will be during the course of her programAnd if [redacted] had requested to speak with a manager, we would have absolutely set that up for herWe want to resolve any possible issues there may beWe want [redacted] to be happy.Please note that [redacted] ’s contract states that her fee is non-refundable and she also signed a client obligation form which states that the only way she can be successful with her program is to fulfill ALL obligations and expectations listed on the formPer this signed form, [redacted] also agreed to meet all of her purchased matches, so that she may give DC Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the programShe also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly with DC SinglesShe agrees to talk with Client Services and if we still cannot correct the problem, she agrees to let Client Services set up a phone meeting with a senior member of the Client Resolution Team to explain her complaint and let the Client Resolution Team try to resolve the complaint to her satisfaction.As you can see, we have been working hard for [redacted] and have been trying to keep her happyWe only want to help her find someone specialWe ask that she returns our Director’s call and speaks with us about her concerns, as she agreed in her client obligation formWe are trying everything in our power to resolve [redacted] ’s complaintThank you for your time in this matter.Regards,DC Singles

Date: 5/19/To Whom It May Concern,Upon receipt of ** [redacted] ’s initial complaint, we contacted her and spoke with her at length about her situationWe had come to an agreement and made changes to ** [redacted] ’s programShe had agreed to continue and also stated that she would cancel her complaint with the Revdex.comWe have now received a continued complaint from ** [redacted] ** [redacted] has stated that our discussion with her entailed a “resolution which did not materialize, which further substantiates and supports her original complaint for service and the lack of African American males currently available in our system”Please note that we have made several attempts to reach ** [redacted] since we originally resolved this matterEach time a staff member has called ** [redacted] , she has not answered and her voice mail box is full, so we are unable to leave a messageWe are more than happy, and very excited for that matter, to have ** [redacted] sign a new agreement, so that we can move forward in a positive directionThis is not a matter of not providing our service, as we have absolutely done so** [redacted] joined our services on 3/12/Once she left our office after her interview, we immediately began working for herWe entered her information into our system, created her profile, conducted her national background check, entered detailed notes from her interview, uploaded her photos, discussed possible matches on her behalf, etcAfter ** [redacted] completed her profile online and we finished everything on our end, we were able to activate her accountWe explain to our clients that once their account is active, we begin the match search and it can take up to weeks for the first match to be providedThe matchmaking process is one that takes time and researchOur matchmakers are very selective, as they have to be sure that they only match our clients with those who are most mutually compatibleWe found ** [redacted] ’s first match on 3/25, which was one week after her account became active on 3/According to ** [redacted] ’s feedback, she did not enjoy her date, but also informed us that her and her match had actually already met via an online dating siteThere was definitely something that brought them together on both occasionsHowever, they are apparently not meant to be together, although her match enjoyed meeting herWe explain to our clients (which is also included in our Rules and Regulations pamphlet) that we are matching them with those who are “most mutually compatible” and that we do our best to come as close as possible to what they are looking forThere is also no time frame or frequency of matches, but we do search on our clients’ behalf on a monthly basisSome people may receive matches more frequently and for others it can take time depending on various factors, especially compatibility The Rules and Regulations also state that our clients will not like everyone they meet and vice versaWe do our best and hope for the best with each and every match providedOnly our clients can determine if there is a connection or notWe just provide the possible opportunities.After speaking with ** [redacted] following her initial complaint, we matched her on 5/with two gentlemen that we had in mind for herWe have also tried calling her regarding the new agreement, but we haven’t been able to reach her or leave a messageWe then received notification on 5/that ** [redacted] continued her complaint and we were very surprisedWe have been trying to call her again since receiving word of this and have had the same troubleWe have also sent her two e-mails in the last week, asking her to call usWe have yet to hear from herWe were hoping to speak with her prior to responding to this complaint again, but that is not the case, unfortunately.As you can see, we have been providing our services and we have reached out to ** [redacted] on multiple occasionsWe want nothing more than to continue working with ** [redacted] We ask that she returns our phone calls (or e-mails)We would like to put this all behind us and resume her program, so we can assist her in finding someone specialThat is our only goal.Please let us know if you need any additional informationThank you again for your time.Regards, DC Singles

Date: 8/16/16Re: [redacted] Case #: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of [redacted] ’s rejection to our response.First, we would like to mention that we, indeed, meet with all potential candidates for an interview, just as we met with [redacted] We prescreen and prequalify everyone who becomes a client in our programWhen one becomes a client, they complete a profile which includes compatibility indicators, hobbies and interests, etcThe Relationship Specialist who interviews the client also enters extensive notes from the interview for our matchmakers to review After one decides to join our services, they are then in the hands of our matchmakersThe profile information helps us compare and contrast certain information, including criteria, and then our matchmakers are the ones who ultimately decide whether or not to put a match together, based on other information provided from the Relationship Specialist, Date Feedback from prior matches, etcIt is a lengthy process and is not done simply with computersAs [redacted] quoted, “Although we use technology to assist our people”, we are stating that we do utilize technology to assist us in the processWe have been honest in our advertising.We would also like to mention [redacted] elected to purchase “pre-approval” of matches/referralsThis entails that we contact her prior to a referral being sent out [redacted] is told about her matches and then she can decide whether or not to meet these potential gentlemen [redacted] agreed to meet the matches presented to her [redacted] even enjoyed meeting some men However, it ultimately did not work outWe are matching our clients with those who are most mutually compatible and we hope for the best with each and every match.As we explained in our prior response, [redacted] was provided a copy of our Regulations when she joined our servicesIn her agreement, she agreed that she had time to review these Regulations and ask any necessary questions prior to signing the agreementThe Regulations include various information about our program and processAs we previously stated, the Regulations explain that the client understands and agrees that we will supply them referrals on an as available basis and there is no way for us to predict the time frame and frequency of referralsAlso, we match our clients with those we feel they are compatible with and we use our best judgment when providing referralsMost importantly, our clients agree that no two people are generally perfectly compatibleIn addition, the Regulations state that the client agrees they will not like everyone they meet[redacted] is a smart, successful, 69-year-old womanShe has been matched with men ages 63-All men were within her age range preference (except for one man 74-years-old) [redacted] ’s profile information states she will date someone up to If we find a potential match for a client who is year older, inch shorter, etcand everything else looks great, we will still attempt to match those two peopleWe want to give our clients every opportunity to meet someone specialWe explain to our clients that we try to come as close as possible to their criteriaIt is unlikely that two member’s preferences will match up 100%, as we are matching humans Our team conducts hours of research when matching and want to provide each client with the best possible matches available Our matchmakers have been doing this for a long time and have helped various people find relationshipsWe only want the same for [redacted] .Per our previous response, [redacted] was matched with some great gentlemenThey were all smart, highly educated and successful gentlemenIt appears that there was just no romantic connection However, this is not to say that our services are not of quality or that we were dishonest in our advertising and information given during the interview process[redacted] signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees she must meet all of her purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of our program She also signed an agreement which clearly states that the Client fee is non-refundable(In addition, it does not state in the agreement that we will provide services within a 2-year periodThe Regulations state there is no time frame for matchesThe agreement mentions that [redacted] has months of “hold” or “freeze” time as a part of her program.)We reached out to [redacted] to discuss her concernsShe appears to be adamant about cancelling and mentioned having representation [redacted] did mention that she is still single in the same placeWe reminded her that we are happy to move forward with her program, as we only want to help herShe stated she would contact us back when she decides.Again, we would like nothing more than to move forward with [redacted] ’s programWe sincerely hope she chooses to continueWe will be here.Regards,DC Singles

To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of [redacted] ***’s complaint and will address her situation below.When [redacted] joined our services, she requested to cancel the following dayShe appeared to be nervous that we would set her up with an “unattractive” manWe provided encouragement to continue with the program.Please note that everything was right on schedule with [redacted] ***’s program after she became a client and ultimately decided to continue the servicesOur clients are asked to provide us with preferences for their matchesOur clients are informed that we use preferences as a guideline for matching and we try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for in a partnerHowever, if someone is 1-inches shorter, 1-years older, etc, we will still present matches to our clients, as we want to give them every possible opportunity to find someone specialWe always encourage our clients to also be open on their preferences, as this will give them more possibilities in finding a companion.After [redacted] became a client, we activated her account and presented her a match who was 5’(her preference was 5’and taller at first)She is 5’6, so this man was still taller than she is and he showed to be a very compatible match for her, according to their profile information and compatibility indicatorsTherefore, we wanted them to meet one another to see if there would be any chemistryUnfortunately, [redacted] declined meeting this gentleman because of his height, so we had to cancel the matchShortly after, [redacted] contacted us and decided she wanted to cancel her program again.Our records show that we have communicated with [redacted] on several occasionsHer situation reached our Director of Client Relations and our Management Committee, in which we had to discuss her experience We sent her a letter indicating that she was not eligible for a refundWe have provided all that was promised to [redacted] thus far and only wish to continue working with herWe believe it is beneficial for [redacted] to give the program a fair chanceShe has not even met with one person as of yet.Also, [redacted] initiated a credit card dispute recently which we had to take the time to research and respond toWe just received word that her case was closed in our favor at this time[redacted] claims that her “situation has changed”, but [redacted] ***’s agreement clearly states that the Client fee she paid is non-refundable [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states she agrees to meet all of her purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the programIt appears that [redacted] was feeling remorseful immediately after joining our program and when she was presented a match who was inch shorter than her preference, she again decided she did not wish to continueHowever, we have been working hard for [redacted] *** The man presented to her showed to be most mutually compatible for her at the timeYes, her Specialist had other men in mind, but once our clients complete their online profile and compatibility indicators, we can then determine if a match should be put together or notWe take preferences into consideration, but we focus first and foremost on compatibility, as this is what makes a relationship last.We sincerely wish to resume our relationship with [redacted] and provide her compatible matches, as we promised, per her agreementShe must actively participate in the program and maintain a positive attitude in order to be successful

12/28/To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of [redacted] ***’s complaint[redacted] came into our office for an interview on 9/and decided to join our services She selected the program she desired and we processed her payment [redacted] then signed a non-refundable agreement and we provided her with all of our paperworkShe left our office, we immediately began working for her and we were excited to try and help her find someone special.We completed all the necessary administrative tasks in order to activate [redacted] ***’s profile and we sent her an e-mail to let her know her account was active on 9/We later spoke with [redacted] ***, as she had some concerns and questions about the profile and matchmakingShe then e-mailed us after and requested to cancelWe spoke with [redacted] that evening and she informed us that she filed a dispute with her credit card companyWe tried to discuss her concerns with her, but she had no interestShe then ended the call.Our Director of Client Relations spoke with [redacted] on 10/to try and resolve her concerns and she reiterated that she filed a dispute and had no interest in discussing anything with us until we received the outcome of the disputeShe said she would contact us at that time.Almost months later, we finally received the credit card dispute(Unfortunately, we cannot control how long her bank takes to handle disputes.) We immediately responded with the requested information and the case was closed in our favor [redacted] then contacted us and spoke with our Director of Client Relations again [redacted] inquired as to why she had not received the funds back and we kindly reminded her that the charge-back came back in our favorWe reminded her that there is no 3-day cooling off periodShe repeated that we are a “scam” and we asked why she would feel that wayWe do not want any of our clients to feel this way, as this is not trueWe tried reminding [redacted] why she joined our program and she was not interested in discussing this [redacted] just notified us that she did not wish to move forwardWe explained that we want to work with her, but her account was in dispute for a lengthy period of time, because she initiated a charge-backShe was very unhappy during our conversationWe tried everything in our power to resolve this matterOur hands are tied until [redacted] agrees to work with us.Again, we want nothing more than to assist [redacted] in finding someoneWe are here for her and we want her to understand that we are on her sideIt is important for her to give the program a chanceThank you, DC Singles

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I do not wish to continue on with the programI was only contacted after the matchmaker heard that DC Singles received a Revdex.com complaintWhile their client, I only received an initial call to welcome me to their serviceHowever, after I called to express concern over my second match who was not at all within my preferences, I was told that I was being too pickyThis prompted me to go to their office only to be told the same thing by the saleswoman who brought me in to the serviceIn mid-April I submitted my feedback for referrals yet received no follow up stating that their concern over my dissatisfaction or asking how they could improveOf particular note, I filled out a paper application when I signed up with the serviceI am for certain that I stated my match not have childrenMy last referral was a man with two childrenThis was not stated in his profile that was sent to me by DC SinglesWhy a dating service would conceal that a man has children is extremely questionableI also mentioned this on my phone call with the matchmaker and she said that I put no preference, which I know is falseMoreover, I submitted feedback for referrals on their website portal as instructed, yet the service sent no record or copy of my feedbackIt is important that the client receives a copy of their own feedback for purposes of service and business accountability to the clientI received an emotional phoen call from the matchmaker who thought that things were going wellIf things were going well I would not have requested my account be frozen and that I prefer to find a match myselfAdditionally, the matchmaker stated that she wish I had called her instead of filing a complaintAs the client, DC Singles should be calling me to ensure they are doing all they can to provide a quality service and to live up to their end of the contractThis has not been the case the entire time I have been with DC SinglesI only agreed to go along with the program because there is not an option to refundHowever, I would much prefer to settle the debt by paying $for a grand total of $I have already paid $to DC Singles: $as a down payment and two payments of $I do not feel comfortable trusting their services given the string of negative reviews and my own personal experience with their poor customer service and matchmaking skillsFor reference I have attached my contract Below also find a link of [redacted] reviews from former DC Singles clients: [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***
