[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There are inconsistencies in the message provided by DC SinglesI did not go out with matchesI went out with matches, with the understanding that since one was blind I would be receiving credit for that one, which would mean that matches were usedOf those matches, one had a child which was a deal breaker for meAnother didn't have a college degree, had no desire to go back to school and was a smoker, which were two huge deal breakers that I had made known during my first meeting with the companyTwo of the matches lived an hour and two and a half hours away respectively, even though I wanted matches who were in my areaOf the remaining matches, two seemed outright disgusted by the fact that I was overweight (something which I had told the company prior to signing up that I was very hesitant about)There were TWO matches who treated me like a human being and were within an acceptable distance and met my non-negotiable qualities that were desiredHad I known that these matches (which I was told would be comped back to be since they were nothing at all what I was looking for) would still be counted against me, I would have said no to them, but once again, I was mislead by the companyDuring the sign up process I was also told that I could "sell back" and "transfer" any unused matches, which is something that I had wanted to do after I was set up with my third match (but it would have only been considered the second one since one which was a "freebie" was a legally blind man whom I was told I should go out with since I had no real dating experience)When I emailed after the third match about selling back my matches I was told that this couldn't be doneYet another thing that I was lied to about (I even had "transfer" and "resale" hand written onto my contract).I was told that there would be people who would "eat me up" and that there was a group of men that they could see me withThese were all lies that were used to get me to buy the programIf I had known that they would go out and "find" matches for me, then I would have not have signed upI was lead to believe something completely differentAnd, knowing the area, I made sure to ask if these men liked women who were chubby and I was outright lied to when they said yesI do not want to have anything to do with the business anymore; I don't want to be comped matches that were horribly set up in the first placeI don't want to expend any more time on this company than I already haveThis has been a completely miserable experience and I just want my money backI even offered to be reasonable and asked to receive $8,instead of the $9,that I paid for the membership, since money had went to pay for a background investigation, whatever that entailedI should not have to pay for matches which did not meet my specifications in any way, shape or form.I just want my money back so I can move on with my life because the more I think about how miserable this situation has made me, the more angry and depressed I get about it Regards, [redacted]

5/18/To Whom It May Concern, We are surprised to receive a “rejection” to our letter, as we believed everything had been resolved with [redacted] ***.Please know that we have been in communication during the course of [redacted] ***’s program and we did reach out to her when we received her complaint, because we wanted to address and resolve her concerns right away We have only matched [redacted] with men who have been most mutually compatible with her, according to their profilesWe use preferences as a guideline for matching and use our best judgment when providing referrals We try our best to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking forAccording to [redacted] ***’s feedback, she enjoyed meeting her first matchShe stated that they had a lot in common, but she wasn’t sure if she was attracted to himShe wanted us to resume our search for her so she would weigh her options, but she was going to have a second date with him [redacted] did not agree to meet her second match, due to certain criteria detailsWhen we spoke with [redacted] after her second referral, we listened to her feedback on the match and assured her that we were not disregarding her preferences [redacted] spoke of certain characteristics that were very important to her in a match and we made note of this informationWe told her that it may take some time, but we would be sure that these certain preferences are met [redacted] then came into our office and spoke with the Relationship Specialist who interviewed her when she joined our programThe Specialist simply asked [redacted] to keep an open mind and she agreed [redacted] then met her third match and stated that the gentleman brought her flowers, she said they had “great conversation” and she appreciated that his “faith was paramount”However, it appears that she was not physically attracted to him and was not comfortable that he had childrenPlease note that we provide our clients with a brief description of their matches just to give them an idea of the person they will be meetingThis information only supplies details such as name, age, profession, residence, etcOther information is not concealed – it is just not listedWe want clients to get to know about each other on their date and not have all information given to them priorShortly after [redacted] ***’s third match, she placed her account on hold and said she was dating someoneWe responded to her request and put her profile on freezeWe then received her complaint and contacted her immediately [redacted] ***’s matchmaker called her and asked her about what we received, stating that she felt terrible that [redacted] filed a complaint [redacted] responded that she was just “frustrated” [redacted] also stated that she just bought a new car and was dating someoneShe said she was “stressed”, because she was worried about the amount of hold time she had with her program (months)Her matchmaker told [redacted] that she could have “unlimited freeze” and not to worryShe also stated that we would “bonus back” her last referral [redacted] thanked the matchmaker and said she would keep in touchAs you can see, we were under the impression that everything was resolvedWe understand that [redacted] has been frustrated, but we have been working very hard for her and have matched her with men who are compatible with herWe have even “bonused back” her last match and provided her with “unlimited freeze” on her account as a courtesyWe want to keep [redacted] happy and have her best interest at heartPlease note that [redacted] ***’s contract clearly states that the fee she paid is non-refundable [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees to resolve any issues directly with our staffWe believe we have made a genuine effort to resolve [redacted] ***’s concerns and would like nothing more than to continue working with herWe hope she has a change of heartWe will be hereThank you,DC Singles

Date: 3/31/ To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of [redacted] ’s complaintWe greatly apologize that we did not respond to this complaint when this was first sent out, as we did not receive the information.Please note that [redacted] has been an active client in our program since she joined our services and is still active to this dayWe have matched [redacted] with gentlemen thus farHer most recent match was sent to her on 3/There were some instances where [redacted] ’s matches did not pan outHowever, each client receives a “managerial review” at the end of the programThis is when management sits down, reviews the client’s experience and determines whether or not certain matches should be “bonused back”, depending on the situationWe are happily continuing [redacted] ’s program and would like nothing more than to continue working with herAlso, please note that [redacted] ’s contract clearly states that the fee she paid is non-refundableYou will find this information listed under paragraphs #and #in the contract which is signed by [redacted] Therefore, we would like to politely request that this complaint be closed as Beyond Purview, because the consumer signed an agreement that clearly states that the Client fee is “non-refundable.” We have included a copy of [redacted] ’s non-refundable contract.Thank you for your time in this matter.Regards,DC Singles

5/4/15To Whom It May Concern,We inquired with the Revdex.com today to check the status of this complaintWe then immediately received a rebuttal letter for [redacted] We noticed that [redacted] responded to our letter back on 4/and we were not notified until today, 5/4.Please note that our Director of Client Relations has recently reached [redacted] and spoke with her on several occasionsThey discussed [redacted] ’s concerns, her preferences, the program, etcWe advised [redacted] that there are some options for her to help her move forward in a positive direction[redacted] stated during her most recent conversation with our Director that after thinking about it, maybe she needs to just take a break and collect her thoughtsShe understands that she shouldn't be getting this frustrated and that this should really be a fun experience for herShe hopes after stepping away for a period of time, she can come back and give it a fair chanceShe knows that she cannot get a refund, so this is the next best thing for her right nowOur Director told [redacted] that she would have her Matchmaker reach out to her in a month or so to see how she is doingIn the meantime, if she wants to come back active, she is more than welcome to do soThey thanked each other and ended the call.We only want [redacted] to be happy and move forward with a positive mindsetWe will definitely be reaching out to her within the time frame we specified to see how she is doingAs we stated, she can absolutely contact us before thenWe hope to resolve her program soon and continue helping her find someone special Regards, DC Singles

7/9/To Whom It May Concern, Upon receiving [redacted] s’ complaint, our Director of Client Relations reached out to discuss [redacted] s’ program and her concernsThey spoke at length about her experience thus far, they went over the (12) matches that [redacted] s has received, how she really enjoyed meeting one man in particular, how she appeared to feel some rejection with others, etcWe empathized with her, explained that we “bonused back” some matches that did not work out, we offered a specific communication schedule with her and our Director even offered to personally work with [redacted] s going forwardOur Director of Client Relations is discussing this situation with our management team and we will be contacting [redacted] s back with an amicable resolution as soon as possibleWe will notify you when we have additional information regarding this caseThank you,DC Singles

Date: 4/3/15 To Whom It May Concern, Please note that we have since communicated with [redacted] after she filed her complaint. She is an active client in our system and just had a recent date through us. [redacted] is having trouble logging into her account, but we are... trying to remedy this situation.We understand that [redacted] was frustrated not being able to log into her account online. Please know that we did not “lock her out of her account”. There appears to be an issue with her password. We have been able to log in on behalf of [redacted] ***. Also, we have absolutely been in contact with [redacted] and have returned various phone calls. Our records show that we returned calls that [redacted] has made to us. Our records also show that we even reached out to [redacted] in the beginning of her program on two separate occasions asking her to complete her profile and we called [redacted] a couple times after her first match, because we had not received feedback from [redacted] (which is required of our clients, so that we can resume the search process for them and provide their next match). Feedback is crucial in our program, because it helps us to refine our search and come closer to what our clients are looking for.Once [redacted] completed her feedback on 2/12, we resumed the search for a new match. [redacted] has received 2 matches thus far and we are going to be searching for a new one very soon, once she completes her newest feedback. [redacted] notified us via e-mail that she did meet her most recent match that was provided to her on 3/24. We have been communicating back and forth via e-mail with her and left her a voice message recently. Please note that our Regulations explain that we will search on [redacted] ***’s behalf on a monthly basis, however, we cannot predict the time frame and/or frequency of referrals/matches. We have to be sure that we are only matching [redacted] with those who are compatible with her, according to their profiles. We do not want to match [redacted] with just anyone in order to fulfill referrals. Sometimes it can take longer periods of time in between matches, however, we will continue working for [redacted] until all of her purchased matches have been fulfilled. It is also important for our clients to complete their date feedback in a timely manner.Everything has been right on schedule for [redacted] and we are continuing to work on her behalf. We ask that she contacts us back, so that we can help her log in and discuss any concerns she may have. She has agreed, per her signed client obligation form, to discuss any issues directly with our staff. We want nothing more than to move forward in a positive direction with [redacted] ***.Also, [redacted] ***’s desired resolution is a refund, but her contract clearly states under paragraphs #2 and #13 that the Client fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Therefore, we were advised to request that this case please be closed as Beyond Purview, because the consumer’s contract clearly shows that the fee is non-refundable.
