We do run giveaways and trial memberships to provide potential customers with temporary access to the savings on our sites, but we have numerous clear disclosures throughout the order process as outlined above.
Regarding your specific concerns, we see in the customer notes that a call was made to customer service on 07/29/2015. According to the dispositions on the account, the customer called in regards to a $2.00 charge to her account. The customer service representative explained to the customer that the $2.00 charge was to cover the cost of shipping her free gift after her VIP membership had been validated. The customer hung up on the customer service representative. The $2 shipping charge has been refunded to the customer and her account had been closed. No future billings will take place. The customer will still be entered in the DealHippo monthly drawing to win an IPhone 6.

I am glad to be done with this matter. I finally got my money back. Yet, I will never do business with Deal Hippo again. First of all they never gave me the so called confirmation email. Plus they do not care about customer satisfaction or I would not have had to contact Revdex.com.

I accept the resolution that they have offered. I appreciate that they are giving the annual fee back. I want to make a note that even till today I have not received the MP3. I want to make sure that it is clear that when they do these "give aways" nothing is specified regarding the terms. I don't doubt that they have terms but maybe they should re-check that part.

I will consider accepting their response after receipt of my money. I was told a mp3 was mailed to me, but have not received the player nor my money. This advertisement is misleading and to me in my opinion, it is a scam! I took my time to complete a survey and only trusted the advertisement because it was on the school's site. WI'll respond again after receipt of my money.
