I have been with Denton Floyd for 2years since they bought my property from winterwoodIn my opinion they are very unprofessional I have had so many problems with my property manager Tony,I have tried resolving them with Chris I constantly leave messages and get no call backMaintenance never comes back yo fix things like they are suppose to instead they close out work orders as if they have been completedThe property has really went down since they took over from mishandling of tenants money, as far as inappropriate acts of sexual propositions it's really is sad and I wish more people would speak up and stop being silent because the things they do should not be allowed things need to change

I love Ms.Shajunda shes so helpfulEverytime I have a problem shes always willing to help and make sure the job is doneshe is also very nice and respectful when I talk to her

Hi, I live in Yorktown Apartments and from what I have seen, the new management has really turned things aroundUnlike some of the new tenants, I lived in Yorktown a few years ago, before this management team took overIt was terribleNow, the staff is friendlier, the surroundings are cleaner, and the maintenance is always on call and very knowledgeableThis is a place I can live and feel safe, comfortable, and happyI even recommended these apartments to my daughter who is having a babyIts a great place to call home

With Denton Floyd Properties I have found that I get my moneys worth, plus! They have friendly staff, they are prompt with service callsThey made my moving experience easyLove the large rooms in my apartment and there are tons of closets and cabinet spaceI have no complaints!

We spoke to Mr*** on 3/19/2015. More so for the concern of why he was so upset. The outcome of this is simple lack of communication After two walk-throughs, *** *** moved into his apartment home in late
January. Prior to this move in, he informed us that his partner would eventually move in with him. Mr*** was then told that as long as she applies, and gets approved just as he did, she would then have to sign the lease to live there, anything else would be a breach of the lease. He understood and was perfectly fine with that. This is the reason for him getting the “day notice to cure” letter. He came in and followed the process Shortly after his move in, his heat went out. We followed the necessary steps in a timely manner to fix this problem. We do greatly apologize for his frustration, as we did have to order parts to correct this problem. Upon completion, he even called to apologize and thank maintenance for fixing his problem
Per our conversation on 3/19/2015, we were able to understand what current concerns Mr*** had. We set up a maintenance request to address his concern in his apartment home. We also gave him a rent credit for his LGE, and he stated that he feels this is fair and will not be leaving his apartment home. We explained to him, that we are unable to let him out of his lease, but we will work harder to make sure the lack of communication is not a problem going forward.
As we do for all our tenants, we greatly appreciate Mr*** loyalty!

We sent a technician to Mr *** address on Tuesday 9/1/morning after receiving his phone call Monday at 4:pm 8-31-concerning maintenanceMr *** had sent a text to the Property Manager *** *** but she was no longer with the company A lady was present when he got to *** *** ** # and she politely explained the window was busted and condensation in the furnace roomOur tech got the supplies to fix the two issues and returned the next morning but no one was home and the apartment had an added lock so we could not enterHe returned again on 9/2/later in the day and fixed the two issues

This letter shall serve as a response to Miss ***, resident of *** ** *** *** **. The fire, according Louisville Metro Fire Arson Detective *** ***, was started by a lit cigarette. We at Denton Floyd do empathize with Miss ***, however, damages caused by fire due to a
cigarette is the responsibility of the residentThe outside staircase and decking is currently being rebuiltAll other work orders concerning the windows and back door were reported to this office on 9/9/15, the day after the fireThese items are going to be addressed after the most pressing saftety issue--the back staircase--is addressedThe assistant property manager is available in the office Monday-Friday from 7:am-4:pmThe office does get very busy and we are not always available by phone due to being on another call or meeting with a resident/applicant however, all voicemails go directly to the email of the assistant PM

I rented from Denton Floyd for yearsDuring this time I dealt with issues like bed bugs, that they tried to blame on me even though clearly the building had been infested long before they ever got to my unit, raw sewage leaking into my apt, and a slew of other unattended maintenance requests like exposed carpet tack strips and broken doorsTrying to get them to address any maintenance issues was usually a total nightmare including everything from no one answering or calling me back after repeated attempts to their "emergency" line to drunk maintenance men showing up unprepared and argumentativeThey are a typical example of a large property management company only interested in pumping money out of units doing only the absolute necessary things to keep the units they own runningMost recently they sold the building I live in with no notice and i'm currently in the middle of trying to deal with another plumbing issue, also involving raw sewage, that they supposedly fixed, with my new landlordThey also entered my unit several times without even attempting to make me aware that they were comingIn one instance they barged in with potential buyers early in the morning on a saturday while I was in my living room
I would highly recommend steering clear of denton floyd if you're are looking for an apartment in louisville

I have been living here for over a year now and have a new land lady name carolynThis women wants us to call this place home but how can we when she doesnt even careThis place doesnt feel like home when you have neighbors who disrespects everyone by fighting and kids jumping and yelling all day longIve told msCarolyn about this issue several times and she yelled at me I will be contacting attorneys soon

I like denton&floyd properties because they are affordable and also my girl shajaunda is great she gets the job done and she help me get in my new place that I rent from denton&floyd with no problem .So I do recommend denton&floyd if you need a nice place to stay .Ask For Shajaunda and she will take care of you
