On September 8, 2015, property manager *** ***, was notified by the Louisville Metro Fire Department of a small fire on the back steps right outside of* ** *** *** *** *Upon arrival, at the scene was a barbque grill on the ground under the back deckingIt was at that time, assumed the grill was the culpritAfter a thorough arson investigation, the fire was ruled accidental however, it was ignited due to careless cigarette smoking which is the resposibility of the residentAll repairs relating to Miss ***' complaints have been completed as of November 16, The first repair, and most pressing was the repair of the back staircaseAfter the staircase was secured and rebuilt, the back door was repaired as well as new windows built and installed for Miss ***We hope that this will close the matter at hand and if Miss *** needs to reach the office staff she can call or text ###-###-#### 24/or call ###-###-#### between the hours of 8am-2pm & 3pm-4:30pm

Denton Floyd is the best! I gave lived in PRP with them for years now The office staff at Feyhurst is great!

I am a resident of Denton Floyd and I enjoy living at their propertyThe management and maintenance are very nice and they take care of work orders

My fiance and myself have contacted Denton Floyd Real Estate group for the past couple weeks trying to get our window fixed from were someone broke it out while we was out of townAlso we are having issues with junkies throwing their needles out in the grassThis morning (August 31, 2015) I caught a tenant shooting dope in their car on my way to workI know the neighborhood isn't the greatest but no one should have to endure this type of behaviori attempted to get in contact the afternoon of August 31st but as usual their is never an answerI left a voicemail for them to call me back and never recieved a callI then called the number *** gave me to get in contact with her and still got no answerI then sent my concerns via text message and did not receive a reply until 5:02pm saying I need to call the office in the morning to voice my concernsI have text messages and screen shots to prove every bit of thisI am tirednof dealing with this company and it's time something is done

Our company has been in contact with this resident and made visits to the apartment to investigate the complaints. We had emergency leaks due to severe weather, water was turned off by the water company, carpet cleaners extracted water, left air movers to
properly address the moisture, and cleaned and deodorize carpetMaintenance has made multiple required repairs as well as recent exterior repairs by a roofer. A contractor is arranged for drywall repairs and our company is repairing small items currently. The tenant now knows how to contact the appropriate office of our company to get her needs addressed. All repairs will be made and addressed to satisfaction and extra care will be provided to seek alternative housing to possibly relocate the tenant to a different buildingWe intend to stay in constant contact with the resident until the final work is complete

My name is Anita Terry and I live at 3061 Grand Ave. I recently had to deal with SHAWANDA regarding a maintenace issue. She was very polite and got the issue resolved fairly quickly. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely deal with Shawanda regarding my matters.

How I feel about Denton/Floyd taking over this real estate. Great improvement over the other real estate owners. Management is great.... they are trying to make this a better place to live espeicially for the older people that just want a quiet life and for the people that are working and raising their children to have a safe place to live.

Renting from this company was the worst decision I ever made, the only good thing they ever did was sell my building to another rental company that is actually capable of doing their jobs. The ceiling in my bedroom leaked for THREE months, flooding my closet and causing damage to the ceiling, door, and floor. Innumerable calls and emails later, a maintenance man finally came to look at it and said he would be able to begin repairing it the next day. Of course he did not, and another month went by until he and the property manager came barging into my apartment in the middle of the day demanding to fix this "emergency leak" that they claimed to have no prior knowledge of. Their visit fell on a weekend I was going to be out of town, and I assumed incorrectly that the problem would be fixed when I returned. The leak had stopped but I was now left with a giant hole in my ceiling as well as plaster and dirt from their "repair" that had been left all over my bedroom. Numerous calls and emails would again lead no where, and the hole in my ceiling remained for another four months until they decided to sell the building (without mention to the tenants of course.) This is just the most mentionable situation I had with them, maintenance of the building was never taken seriously. I'd gone weeks without lights being repaired, and I was woken up by building inspectors trying to make their way into my apartment with no previous notice numerous times. This company clearly does not care about their tenants in the least, and absolutely should not be allowed to own/rent apartments in a historic district as they do not care for the buildings either. Avoid this company at all costs.

The management staff is awesome. They take care of any issues right away. We truly enjoy living here.

Ms. [redacted] was scheduled for eviction due to her being several months behind on her rent.  Her court date was May 5, 2015.  She was evicted on this day.  Ms. [redacted] no longer lives on our property.

I have been with Denton Floyd for 2years since they bought my property from winterwood. In my opinion they are very unprofessional I have had so many problems with my property manager Tony,I have tried resolving them with Chris I constantly leave messages and get no call back. Maintenance never comes back yo fix things like they are suppose to instead they close out work orders as if they have been completed. The property has really went down since they took over from mishandling of tenants money, as far as inappropriate acts of sexual propositions it's really is sad and I wish more people would speak up and stop being silent because the things they do should not be allowed things need to change.

I work for Denton Floyd and I am also a resident. It's a great company to work for and they care about their residents. Work orders get done and I have found residents very happy.

With Denton Floyd Properties I have found that I get my moneys worth, plus! They have friendly staff, they are prompt with service calls. They made my moving experience easy. Love the large rooms in my apartment and there are tons of closets and cabinet space. I have no complaints!
