Our installer, [redacted], was great. He came when he said he was going to come, he was very, very polite, took great care in not making a mess of anything, cleaned up all the boxes, etc. and smiled the whole time. We couldn't have asked for a better installer.

The windows look great, and when installed we noticed right away how much more soundproofed the house seemed to be, it was amazing.

We would absolutely recommend Desert King Windows to anyone considering changing out their windows. Great windows and great service!

Review: I paid several thousand dollars to Desert King Windows for what they claimed was a high quality replacement window. When it rains the tracks inside the house fill with water and debris. Dirt and air leak into the house through closed windows. Windows advertised as energy efficient have caused my electric bill to increase. Desert King windows refuses to rectify the situation despite their service tech inspecting the windows numerous times, video taping water filling the tracks and stating that water should not leak inside the house. These windows have a lifetime warranty that Desert King Windows is not willing to honor, despite several months of back-and-forth phone calls. They even claim water is supposed to leak inside my home, contradicting what their tech stated.Desired Settlement: I do not want after-market modifications made, such as drilling holes, which would alter the intended design of the window frames. If I were to ever sell my home these windows would not pass inspection. I have lost a lot of money on increased electric bills due to windows that are leaking and not air tight. I am requesting a full refund of this purchase, and desire to purchase replacement windows from a different company. Desert King Windows can have their windows back.

We at Desert King Windows have been working with the windows manufacturer of these units, [redacted] Windows, as well as the customer to rectify these issues since April. On Sunday, 4/6/2014, Desert King Windows received a comment on the company's [redacted] page saying "cheap leaky windows". This, being the first time we had heard the customer was unhappy, immediately sparked us into action to resolve the issue. We do everything we can to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied.

3 days later, Desert King Windows Service Tech, [redacted], was at the customers house to look at a leak, as well as fix a punctured screen. This being a completely out of the norm issue, [redacted] took notes, tested the window with a garden hose to see the leak and decided that the best course of action was to contact the manufacturer with the issue. [redacted] also tested the other windows in the house and found the same problem in a few other units. In the years [redacted] has worked with energy efficient windows, he has NEVER seen this problem before.

[redacted] immediately reported to [redacted] Windows about the leaky windows. This issue made its way through the [redacted] warranty process and was reported back to us. Due to the abnormal issue, this process has taken more time to rectify. [redacted], requested for [redacted] to try a few more things.

On 4/29, [redacted] was back to the customers house with a few things to try. One was to simply clean out all weep holes of the window and any debris that could possibly have clogged the drainage system in each window. Then, if that doesn't work, picture the issue and send in to [redacted] did all of these.

A few weeks later, [redacted] requested video to be taken as well as check for screws on the bottom rail and check the window for plumb. [redacted] was also to run a wire to "snake" the drainage system. On 5/28 all of these were performed. None of this worked so the video was sent to [redacted] along with a request from Desert King Windows to provide total replacement of the windows in question.

Over the next month, Desert King Windows have been going back and forward with [redacted] Warranty Department and awaiting final word. Again, due to the nature of the issue and the fact that they are custom windows, this has taken time to fix. Desert King Management has been in contact with the customer every couple of weeks and has assured the customer that this will be resolved and we are going through the process. We have also apologized for the length of time this has taken to do so.

On 7/10, We received a message form the Revdex.com that the customer has filed a complaint. This was a shock to us because we are in the middle of resolving the issue and awaiting word from the Manufacturer, [redacted]. The owner of Desert King Windows, [redacted], called [redacted] and demanded these windows to be replaced immediately. On Monday, 7/14/14 [redacted] agreed to furnish 5 new windows for our customers. [redacted] also called the customers to let them know that Desert King Windows will be replacing the 5 leaking windows at no charge and to again apologize for the length of time. The customer said they are excited to get the windows replaced and that they are satisfied. The customer thanked us. Desert King Windows is committed to keeping its customers happy and are scared to death to receive a complaint :).

we had desert king do considerable repairs for us as a result of a resent burgulary and they did a first class job for us. mr.kenny k[redacted] was the repairman for desert king and a great person to work with.

We had a broken latch on the patio sliding door. The repair tech said the door frame had to be replaced. He did a temporary fix to secure the door. In a short time the door frame was made and "[redacted]", the tech came out, calling me a hour before the scheduled appointment to see if he could come out then, Yes was the answer, 15 min later he was here, 45min after arriving, he was finished, cleaned up and ready to go to the next appointment. Cost to homeowner-- Zero $. Lifetime warranty.

Just had the service rep come to fix a small clogged drain in one of our windows caused from the dirty air in AZ. The rep arrived on time, was very friendly and knew exactly what to do about this minor problem. Had the windows installed in 2006 and this was the first plugged drain with one window. Love the windows as they keep a lot of the hot AZ temps out of the home during the summer. Would highly recommend this company as they follow through with their product and are good enough to be in business for many years with lots of competition. Hard to find a company you can trust. Desert King windows are worth looking into.

Just had the remainder of my house completed with Desert King Windows and am 100% satisfied. Did 7 windows about two years ago and now 24 more. The original 7 showed a noticeable reduction in energy savings so I had the job completed. The installer on both of my jobs was Kenny and would give him the highest recommendation possible. Good windows can look terrible and perform poorly if not installed properly but he did an excellent job!

It took a couple of calls to get a repairman out to our home, but once he was here we couldn't have asked for a better experience! After owning our Desert King Windows for 10 years, a couple locks on our regularly used windows were in need of repair. Stan arrived on time and fixed 2 locks on 2 different windows, completely re-made a screen that had begun to fray from the severe desert sun, fixed one window that had begun to sqeak as it was opened or closed, and then checked all of our remaining 14 windows! And I can't be sure, as we had just had a recent rain storm, but I think he cleaned the windows too! He was kind to our dog and polite and courteous to us! AND all of this was under warranty so we were not charged a penny! We are so pleased with the decision we made over 10 years ago to go with Desert King Windows!

Extremely please with the whole experience with Desert King Windows. Sales were exactly as stated, and from then on it became one of our best investments in our house. Windows are a quality product and the service and follow-up on any and all issues has been outstanding. Every employee that we have met and come in contact with has been very professional and concerned about meeting our needs and resolving our issues.

All of the people working at Desert King Windows in Tempe, AZ deserve the highest marks possible. I am not the original customer for the windows on a home we recently purchased, but this outfit lived up to their transferable warrantee on windows and screens they installed about 6 or 7 years ago. One of the bathroom screens was missing when we moved in and they happily replaced and extended a "house visit" by Kenny a very pleasant, professional employee who showed me how to install the screen properly. While I am at it, the Christy the office manager I originally spoke with could not have been more pleasant and helpful. This outfit definitely has an "Old School" approach to business. They deserve to be around a long time.

Technicians were prompt and courteous. Repair work was completed quickly to our satisfaction.
