In response to these claims with the [redacted]--#1} I have been in contact with [redacted] to discuss her claim & concerns several times since she took her car--It offends me that [redacted] said we only decided to help her because she mentioned fraud. I did not deny her claims, I...

told her I need to see the damages she is talking about. However, she said the car was at another shop. I told her we would handle her concerns when she gets the car back. Not because she said fraud, it's because with EVERY car repair we give a written life time warranty-if the owner is not happy with the work or has any problems--they bring the car back to our shop we put them in a loaner car for the duration of the repairs [the Desimones have done this for 45 years]--We do not run/hide from our work if mistakes were made we fix them--it's that simple.  PS they have not brought the car back because it has been at another shop for rear end repairs
#2} In response to the rear end damages we were never made aware of these damages by the [redacted] or the insurance company--we were paid to fix the front end of the vehicle  & that is what we did.  [redacted] [shop mgr] actually tried to clean up the rear bumper for the customer by gluing down mldg & making it look nice [which it did-I have photos]
#3] In response to 3 messages being left & that I did not return their calls.  I have an answering machine in my office and return every call with in 1 business day--I did have 1 message from the [redacted] from Thursday afternoon May 8th--I was out of office Friday May 9th & upon return Monday I called them
#4} I have spoken with [redacted]--we have ordered the parts he says are damaged/not replaced--when the parts arrive we are going to drop off a loaner car to the [redacted] and bring back their car to Desimone to complete all repairs. [redacted] is fine with this resolution  Thank you [redacted]

There were miscues from prior managers that are no longer with us. Once it was brought to my attention it was handle and expedited. She has been solved.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I will obtain the parts from the mechanic who assisted with the repairs if necessary. Had I had a pleasant experience with your corporation up to this point I would brought the vehicle straight there. However, I've always been met with denials, regrets, and even accusations until I informed them of my intentions to sue which I found to be ridiculous and unprofessional. That is not how you build a rapport or lasting relationship with your customers.

I HAVE FORWARDED THIS COMPLAINT TO OUR OWNER & THE GENERAL MANAGER TO LOOK INTO & HANDLE WITH CUSTOMER

I have given the complaint to the owner [redacted] Desimone--he will follow up with the [redacted] general manager--4/24/2014   file #[redacted]

Review: My husband's parked car was involved in a 4 car accident on 3/2/14 with resultant front end and rear end damage. The car was towed to Desimone for repairs. [redacted] insurance accepted fault, and adjustor came out and cut a check for front end damages in my name which was signed over to Desimone. There were a number of customer service issues along the way, but that is beyond this complaint. When the car was returned to us on 3/28/14, there were no repairs done to the rear end of the car. The adjustor was then called out to our house to reassess damages. Upon inspection, [redacted], the adjustor, identified 4 parts that were paid to be replaced and the labor associated with these parts that were repaired and not replaced. The total for these fraudulent repairs Total $869.34. This was later confirmed by a mechanic at [redacted]'s [redacted]) who did the work on the rear end of the car. I then called Desimone on 4/7/14 and spoke with [redacted], manager of the body shop, who originally denied the claims, until I mentioned Fraud. He then stated that he would make sure that the situation is rectified on their end and that repairs would be done properly and he would provide a rental free of charge. My husband and I have left 3 messages over the last 2 weeks (2 with [redacted] from the body shop and 1 with the owner [redacted]) to get this work done, and no one from Desimone has gotten back to us.Desired Settlement: At this point, I do not trust this facility for obvious reasons. I would like a refund in the amount that would cover having these repairs done properly at a respectable facility that is not fraudulent. The problem being, that according to The mechanic at [redacted]'s the $869.34 would not cover these repairs as they were calculated based on the fact that the front end of the car was already opened up and labor to do so is not included in that total. The estimate received is in the neighborhood of $2000 at this point. Keep in mind these fraudulent repairs are only upon inspection of what can be seen without removing any parts under the hood. More problems may be hidden to the visual inspection.

Review: I purchased a 2011 [redacted] EX on Saturday, March 1, 2014. I traded in a 1999 [redacted]. I initially purchased the [redacted] from another dealership and the bank that gave me the loan is [redacted]. When I traded in the [redacted] I only had four payments left. When the sale with the [redacted] Dealership was final I paid them a total of $3,000.00 as a down payment, plus the value of the [redacted] which has a KBB value of $4,500.00. During the time of the purchase I made it very clear and noted on the paperwork my next payment to [redacted] was due 3/7/14. The goal was to get the buyout check to them BEFORE my next payment. It is now April 7, 2014 and to date [redacted] has NOT received anything from the [redacted] Dealership. $300 has been deducted from my back account as payment on the [redacted] because they still expect payment from me. Furthermore it seems I purchased the [redacted] from the [redacted] Dealership the same day it was traded. The car was not detailed (filthy on the inside), checked for maintenance, and the tire pressure light was on. I brought it back in for maintenance but the alignment is off and my tire pressure light is still on.I've called the [redacted] Dealership numerous times and no one from their finance department is returning my calls. To make matters worse I left messages for the owner and have followed up on numerous occasions and he has not returned my call either. Now [redacted] is calling my home and my job for payment on the [redacted] I traded in to the [redacted] Dealership, The ba and paid the balance upfront to. The [redacted] Dealership has failed to keep their end of the agreement and now I'm paying making payments on a two cars. The one I have from [redacted] and the car I traded in and it's not right. Not to mention embarrassing as they are calling me at work.Desired Settlement: I would like the [redacted] Dealership to uphold their end and pay off the [redacted] as agreed so the calls can stop. Furthermore I would like to be reimbursed for the $300.00 additional I paid towards the [redacted]. I DO NOT want it credited to the back end of my loan; I want my money upfront just as I gave the [redacted] Dealership their money upfront. I also want the repairs done to the [redacted] I have without any charge. With the exception of the sales person, [redacted] on the [redacted] customer service is awful!

Review: We were involved in an auto accident in PA and we live in CT. Our vehicle was towed to Desimone at 6:30 on a Fri night. We were told that they would set us up with a rental car so we could get home to CT. I signed paperwork which I believed and was told pertained to the rental car and receiving payment from the insurance co for the rental. In that paperwork was also an authorization for Desimone to repair our vehicle which we did not want them to do right from the beginning as we had a very bad feeling about them. We left in the rental car to go to the Phillies game which we came to PA for and the check engine light was on, gas light was on, and low tire pressure light was on. We filled the rental with gas and air and were too uncomfortable driving this car all the way back to CT as the tires were dry rotted as well. We returned to Desimone the next morning and returned the car and rented one from Enterprise. We contacted our insurance co and were told that we could have our vehicle repaired at any shop of our choice and they would have our agent contact Desimone when she returned on Mon am to let them know they would be towing the car from their shop. When our agent called, she was told by [redacted], the owner, that "this car ain't going anywhere" and he hung up. She said because I signed the authorization that we didn't have a choice but to let Desimone repair it. My husband even called and spoke to [redacted] and [redacted] at Desimone and they would not release our car. We reluctantly let them repair the car which took much longer that expected. When we got the car back, our insurance appraiser looked at the car and assessed that there was work they paid for to be done and parts to be replaced that were not done. They were able to recover a small amount of money for a couple of items but recovered no money for the shoddy workmanship done. There are paint drips, clear coat overspray on the headlights, compound all over the vehicle, they painted right over nuts and bolts, did not remove and reinstall the windows to paint so now there is 1/8" ledge of paint under rubber gasket that will chip and peel in no time, our vehicle already is rusting in an area of repair. We brought it to our trusted auto body shop in CT and he gave us an estimate to just touch up the things wrong but he is confident that once he starts working on the car that he will also find other things wrong. [redacted] has offered to have one of his guys come and pick up our car to re-do the work but we want our car flat-bedded back to PA as we don't want his guys driving our car 4 hours and putting another 800 miles on it because they did not do the job properly to begin with. I faxed [redacted] the estimate from our repair shop and an estimate for a rental vehicle and he said the labor rate is too high and wants to negotiate it with our repair shop. I told him absolutely not because he got paid $48/hr from the ins and we are paying this out of pocket, our shop should not have to take a loss to repair his work. He also complained that the rental car was too much money. I've had to track down [redacted] numerous times and when I finally speak to him, he always says I'll call you back at 10:00 tomorrow am and never does, I have to call him and leave numerous messages.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the monies paid to Desimone byt our insurance company for the shoddy repair of our vehicle so that we can have it re-repaired at a reputable auto body shop. I do not want to associate with [redacted] any longer and would like our car fixed as soon as possible since it is already starting to rust.

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted], we look forward to hearing from your attorney as we believe that our request was fair and just and we broke down the numbers to validate that financial request. We hope that your owners will reconsider so this does not have to go to small claims court. We are confident that with the significant amount of 3rd party documentation and photographs detailing the proof of fraud that we have, that we will win and will also be entitled to the additional monies that we made in our original request to you.

Review: Vehicle brought in for repair, inspection, oil & filter change. This was on Friday, June 27, 2014. By 11am on Friday, everything was completed except the repair to my front bumper, which had dislodged itself after hitting a pothole. I was called later on in the day with an estimate of $60-$100 for reattachment. I said "ok, proceed with the repair".Since Friday, I have not received any contact from the Body Shop or any representative at [redacted]. I am constantly calling 3-4x a day to get answers. They respond with, "Let me transfer you to .....(whomever)", then I am sent to a voicemail service. Not one person seems to be competent enough to handle a phone call.As of today, Wednesday, July 2, 2014, my vehicle STILL has not been repaired. I know this because I have finally heard from a man, [redacted], who has looked into the matter. He stated that they have not worked on my vehicle because "THE QUOTE THEY HAD GIVEN ME WAS TOO LOW OF A PRICE". Really now?!?! The company not only wants to make more $$ off of me, but neglects to call the customer about this.I work for the city and have lost 3days of pay (TOTALING OF OVER $1000).Desired Settlement: [redacted] motors to cover all expenses for all services that were performed and STILL NEED to be performed.
