I paid for parking in a Diamond Parking Service lot in Olympia, WA using a posted phone number for Call to Park. I received a text receipt for that payment. Upon returning to my car I found a ticket for failure to pay. This is the second time this has occurred in the past 16 days. I sent Diamond a copy of the receipt and their ticket. They insist I still owe them money. I called Diamond and was told I had to send them copies of everything, and that they couldn't handle this over the phone. I find this suspect since the first incident was handled quickly over the phone. I have seen other complaints online about this company doing this to other people. When I asked what I could do to prevent a reoccurence, the employee had no suggestions.

Revdex.com Complaint #***

Dear ***,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

After researching the parking notice received, we found that
this was an error on our side. Because you
paid for the 10 hour rate, it supersedes the evening rate. We will follow up
with our violation department to ensure that this is voided – nothing further
is owed.

We do apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you
bringing this to our attention. We are
using this information as an opportunity to provide additional training to our
staff to ensure that this does not happen in the future.

This afternoon, Sunday Feb 2, 2020, I parked in a parking lot at *** in Seattle. I have just moved to the area and when I went to pay for the parking, the first meter you come to says “free parking all day sundays”. I read it twice to make sure. Then I went right next door to a restaurant. When I came out I had a ticket from Diamond Parking Services for $50 because their meter was actually in the far back corner of their parking lot (almost hidden and facing away from the restaurant it was right next to). I would like this ticket to be revoked because I feel that it was misleading to have their meter almost hidden while the meter that you pass on the way to the restaurant says free parking for Sundays.

Diamond Parking Services Response • Feb 05, 2020

Hello and thank you for reaching out! We understand
how confusing parking can be coming from another city. The Diamond
Parking lot you parked is paid via mobile payment only and does not have any
pay meters. I believe that the meter you were referring to was a City of
Seattle meter for on-street parking only. These meters are located on the
sidewalk. The City of Seattle does provides free on-street parking on
Sundays however, the off-street location that you parked was a Diamond
Parking lot which is a private parking lot that is different from the City of
Seattle parking. In order to help eliminate confusion on how to pay, we have
provided signage at every stall that describes the available parking times and
how to pay for parking using the mobile payments. I have included the
attachment of the sign that was in front of your vehicle. That being
said, we also understand that you were trying to pay and even looked at both
parking meters located on the sidewalks, so we will be happy to provide a
one-time courtesy void of this Parking Notice. We encourage customers to
reach out to us directly with concerns that may come up as we are always happy
to resolve them directly and immediately. We look forward to seeing you
in our lots in the future as we strive for the best continued parking
satisfaction.

I received a notice in the mail for a parking ticket where I did not park on Commodore Way in Seattle. I attempted to call the company to dispute the charge, but I was informed there was nothing they could do. This is unacceptable immediate cancellation of the debt.

Diamond Parking Services Response • Feb 07, 2020

Dear ***,Thank you for your question about the
Parking Notice number *** that was issued on 12/12/2019 at 1:42pm at a
privately owned parking lot located at *** W Commodore Way.

After reviewing the notes in our system,
I see that we received a call at 5:08pm on 12/12/19 regarding the Parking
Notice that was issued. The Customer Service Representative notes are as
follows: “Customer said that it was not marked clearly that this was a permit
only lot.”

Since this occurred in December, I wanted
to directly assist you with the resolution, and I contacted the landlord of the
location to ask about your vehicle and the parking notice you received.
He was unfamiliar with your vehicle, as it did not have the proper permit to be
eligible to park in the location. Because this was the first
Parking Notice received, I requested permission from the landlord to
offer you a one-time courtesy void and give you a warning that this particular
location requires a valid parking permit to have your vehicle parked. The
landlord permitted the void.

For some additional context, the landlord
has asked that all appeals are sent directly to him so that he can identify if
the recipient is a valid parker. This is why our Parking Services team
originally directed you to contact the landlord directly as we want to ensure
that properly permitted vehicles are in the location. I am sorry if there was a
misunderstanding in relaying that message to you so I am happy to void that
notice and you will not owe any additional payments. If you are visiting that
lot in the future, please make sure that you have a valid parking permit to
display. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

My husband and I have parking permits for downtown Bend Oregon. Since paying for the permits we gave been double charged and nothing has been resolved. We have also received 2 parking violations, tickets, and have been told that they would be “thrown out” and we have never heard anything again. We then received court documents saying we failed to appear in court for these supposed “thrown out” parking tickets and never gotten any other documentation. Diamond parking has been less then helpful and will not respond to us. They have told us multiple times that they would refund us for double charging and for the parking tickets we should not have received.

Hello Mrs.,I am very sorry for the misunderstanding that resulted in
you needing to contact the Revdex.com to get this matter resolved.
Let me explain everything that happened and if you still have further questions
I would be happy to assist you by phone until you feel the matter is resolved. On 07/18/2019 I see there were 2 charges to the credit card
you had on file with us. We did recognize this as a double charge and issued a
refund on 07/23/2019. I also verified through our credit card processor that
this refund did process and $20 was refunded back to the credit card you had on
file with us. The Ford F-150 that is listed in your Permit Point account
received two parking notices for parking without a permit. This was the result
of an error in the online Permit Point account and once we helped clear this up
both notices were promptly voided. Neither of these parking notices were sent
to the Bend Municipal Court or any collection company. For reference the parking
notice reference numbers are *** and ***I am sorry for the frustration that this caused you and if
you have further comments, questions, or concerns, please contact me directly
at the phone number below. I am here to help and want to make sure you feel

On Jan 16 2020, near 12th and Jackson I parked in one of what looked like a parking area along north side of Jackson and went to a restaurant. 45 minutes later I had a ticket, it looked like a valid spot NOT MARKED as reserved like some of the other spots are and aligned with all the other spots and identical looking to other unreserved spots.
It was also not blocking any entry or exit ways.
This is the busy old neighborhood of 12th and Jackson so I understand that the maintenance and quality of these markings can vary but as a customer I this area I can only go by what I can see.
If they want this spot to be not parking allowed you need mark it white or yellow stripes or borders. There was none.
I called twice over last one week to resolve this issue. Diamond Parking staff was friendly. But they lot manager refused to remove this and I had not heard back after 8 days even though I was told they would call me within 3 business days. On this second call Meghan the manager told me that I was WRONG and the spot was market. As you can see in the picture it was not. She should have looked at the picture before telling me that.
This is frustrating. Be careful parking in any lot with this company. This is the second time they did to me in the last 5 years. Last time was in Bellevue square mall area where the spot was again not marked.
I paid that time and decided to just suck it up but this seems to have become a scam with this company now to collect money. (1) make sure areas look not marked, (2) ticket the customer at just the right price (49$) so that they won't fight this too much and pay.
If I have ever run over a meter and got a ticket I have always paid because it is my fault. But when it is not my fault, and this is private parking spot I have no discourse as I cannot even protest this with the city. I have parked 100s of times in Seattle area in these types of spots of last 14 years I have lived here, and this is only the second incident in private parking spots and surprisingly with the same company in two different cities.
I want to pay for parking when I know I am paying and not just get charged 49$ for a 1 hour parking on a spot that looks perfectly viable.
We don't live in the dark ages. I want to make sure everyone knows how bad a company this one is and avoid them at all costs.
I am putting this review on ***, Revdex.com and ***.
I can see now as post my review how bad their average ratings are on Revdex.com (1 star), *** (***), *** (***) are and it's not surprising that I experienced that.
I don't think they are going to change their mind so I am going to post this and pay my 49$. If they decide to give me my money back and apologize I will update my review. So if you don't see this updated you know how callous they are towards their customers! Because I am sending this review to them in email also to their manager.

Diamond Parking Services Response • Jan 27, 2020

Mr.,
As I promised on the phone, I have discussed this with our manager of this location and we have voided out this notice for you.
As you can see in the image you provided to us, every other parking stall as a secondary line indicating the left and right parameters of the stall in which each vehicle should park. The area you parked in did not. You can also see the painted trapezoidal end indicating the end of the diagonal parking, which you parked to the left, or outside of (Indicated in green below). You can also see in the image you provided to us that your vehicle goes over the top line of the parking stalls adjacent to you, meaning you were not only outside the parking stalls as indicated, but would have parked far enough forward to be a hazard to other vehicles navigating this lot. You can also (barely) see the entrance to this lot immediately in front of your vehicle by about 10 or 15 feet. The reason we have not indicated the space you parked as a parking stall is to prevent any avoidable accidents between our customers and to give enough room for any size vehicle to navigate our locations with ease.
Because we will always indicate positively where a vehicle should park, we will always provide stall parameters for our locations. Please ensure you park within the left and right stall parameters given for each stall in order to prevent notices. It is always best practice to park within stall lines, and if no lines are provided, to assume that parking in that location is not allowable.
Diamond parking very much appreciates your business, and because of your continued business, we have voided out this notice before you made a payment on it as a courtesy to you. No payment can be made on this notice at this time as there is no longer any payment due. Please know that we here at Diamond Parking Services are here to not only help you negotiate notices you receive, but to help you understand why you received the notice and help to prevent any damage that may occur due to improper parking. The information we give to you is vital in understanding how to prevent notices and accidents in the future.

Customer Response • Jan 28, 2020

Thank you so much for taking care of this. I understand your reasoning but I still stand strongly with the fact that the markings were not proper and that you should paint the floor of that area with yellow or white stripes to make it clearer - the typical for most well-marked parking spots. Also the car parked in that area was NOT in front of the entrance at all but completely removed from it along the parking spots. Again I understand why you would keep this empty for gaps, but you have to understand why a customer like me can get confused. I did not notice that the my partition lines were yellow while the next ones were white - yes it's a subtle hint but could be made a lot clearer.
However, you took care of me and I am happy that you put your customers first. My faith in your company is restored and once I very the parking ticked is voided I will remove the same reviews I have put on google and yelp. My reason to take action was that I had no where else to go after our firs and second requests.

Diamond Parking Services needs to have much larger and noticeable signage for their parking lots. The parking lot I got a parking infraction has one, maybe two signs, about the 14 inches by 10 inches I assume. This particular parking is the 418 4th Ave E location in Olympia, Washington. These signs need to be high and noticeable at a distance, especially from the road. After get my parking infraction I returned to the parking lot to find the signage. There are signs on the building that is separated by an alley. There are no signs that I could find within the marked parking stalls.

I parked at a Diamond Parking Lot on 11/22/2019 in Spokane, WA. Called the required number to IMPARK, IMPARK charged my credit card three times. My Citi Bank got two of the charges refunded. Which left the correct charge for parking. Now Diamond parking services LLC Spokane, WA sent me a bill for $60.00. I sent them a letter stating an error concerning my account, “Stating I already paid”, Diamond Parking Services reduced my fee to $20.00, proving they acknowledged the fact that I paid my fees on time to IMPARK. I sent them a check for $20.00 under protest.

RE: ***

Dear Mr., Revdex.com,

Thank-you for making us aware of the complaint filed against us (reference #***). Diamond Parking operates a paid parking location at 411 W Boy Scout Way designated as location B210.This location is currently operated as a public pay parking location 24hours a day 7 days a week. Payments for daily parking are made through 3rd party contractors: “CalltoPark” and “PaybyPhone”. These companies are not owned by Diamond Parking and requests for refunds would be processed through company to whom the payment was made. In this situation the parker paid the “CalltoPark” company with 3 different transactions, at different times all of which were initiated by the parker. We were able to look up the transactions made by looking up payments with the phone number given in Revdex.com document#***. ? The 1 st was made at 7:28 pm with NoPlate information being entered ? 2 nd payment was made 10:54pm with the license plate “Done”, the ? 3 rd payment was made at 10:56pm with the license plate ***. The 2 later payments to the calltopark system were made after the parker returned to their vehicle and likely realized a parking notice had be issued. The parking notice(***) was issued for “no advanced payment” because there was not a way to assign the payment made by their cell phone to a vehicle parked on the lot without the parker entering in the valid license plate number at the time the vehicle was first parked. After researching the payments by the cell number given, we were able to verify a payment was made on the evening of 11/22/2019, we have since cleared the remaining $20.00 balance for the late fee and have closed the notice. My understanding through the letter is that Mr. has cleared the additional charges off his account through his credit card company and has only been charged the $20.30 that was due at the time of parking, and no further refund is due. If Mr. has any further questions about the charges for parking, the phone number for CalltoPark support is 1-888-235-7276. I’ve included photos below showing the payments made and the Diamond Parking notice being cleared as of 1/15/2020. Diamond Parking takes pride in the fact that we treat every customer complaint seriously. Due to the large volume of customers we serve, occasionally misunderstandings do occur. All complaints are followed up on in a timely manner to ensure that the customer is satisfied.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I paid the 3rd company and sent Diamond Parking a check for $20.00 to get them off my back. It just is not worth the trouble to continue. What I will do is keep filling out reviews and telling friends the truth about Diamond parking.
Sincerely

We paid for parking in a downtown Seattle Diamond parking lot, $29.42 total.
40 days later we received a bill in the mail for $79 ($49 Parking Notice Fee + $30 late fee). The letter threatens additional late fees and referral to collection agency if the 'debt' is not paid within 30 days.
I went to the web site. Their own photos clearly document the parking receipt displayed on the car dash, and the car parked in the stall.
I called the phone number. Diamond Parking's representative acknowledged that the parking fee had been paid. She claimed that a bill was left on the car's windshield (it was NOT). Then she stated, repeatedly, that the $79 charge was owed to them because we entered the stall number instead of the car's license plate number. She insisted that we were legally obligated to pay them $79 above the parking fee we already paid.
This is fraud. This is extortion. It appears that Diamond Parking collects their customer's license plate numbers so they can send false bills to their customers. Many people probably pay these fraudulent bills, for lack of time to deal with this scammer company, or out of fear that Diamond will follow through on their threats to send these fake bills to collection.
I insisted on disputing the bill. Diamond Parking's representative took my email address and said she would 'refer it to the lot manager.' I got this reply:
"Please know moving forward that if asked to enter the license plate you must enter the correct plate information. No voids will be given in the future for incorrect license plate information. This notice has been given a one-time."
The bill they sent me was fraudulent. We paid for parking. This is Diamond Parking doubling down on their threat to continue extorting customers.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. We strive for the best in parking satisfaction with every guest in our lots, and from time to time concerns and misunderstanding arise that are brought to our attention. Thank you for reaching out to our Parking Services Department with your question regarding the Parking Notice received on November 30th. Upon researching the situation, this location requires the vehicle license plate to be entered at the pay kiosk. The checker’s handheld unit will then display the valid license plates at the location. Because the stall number was entered for your vehicle rather than the license plate number, the checker was unable to verify proof of payment and issued a Parking Notice for “No Advanced Payment”. Understanding that this was a case of an unintentional misunderstanding on the data entry, on January 10th, our Parking Services Department voided the Parking Notice so that you were not responsible for any payment and educated that for future parking to ensure that the license plate is entered at the pay station. Once the checker can verify the payment, they will not issue a Parking Notice. We do thank you for parking with us and look forward to seeing you again in our lots!
Thank you,

Good Morning ***,

Happy New Year,

My name is Bob and I am an Area Manager for Diamond Parking. I wanted to take a moment to respond to you regarding your notice from October 18, 2019.

The reason you received this notice is that you parked in a Reserved location that is for a separate business. Visitors to the grocery store are not allowed to park in the Reserved stalls.

I do apologize if the notice was wet and unreadable. Our checker may have placed the envelope on your vehicle prior to the rain. Usually, we have a plastic sleeve that covers the notice so it will stay dry. Thank you for responding to the reminder letter that we sent to you on 1/02/20.

I do see that this is your first notice, so I am going to waive this one for you as a customer courtesy. Please take note that if you are shopping at the PCC, their lot and garage are for you as a customer and the Reserved stalls are not associated with PCC. Also for your future parking needs, the Reserved stalls become paid parking stalls Monday to Thursday from 5PM to 7AM and all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We appreciate being able to serve your parking needs for today and the future. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

We parked in *** on 07 Dec 2019 and received a $80 ticket from Diamond Parking for exceeding the 2-hour parking limit.
On Diamond Parking’s Customer Portal, there were photos of our car and our tire chalked. Our car was parked there, I acknowledged that. But these photos did not have time stamps to show when they were taken. Without proof of our start parking time, I have an issue with the exceeded time. In my appeal online, I requested the start parking time stamp but did not receive any response. Over the phone when I questioned the Customer Service on the start parking time and the lack of evidence, the answer was that they trust their staff.
*** If the staff has the tool to take photos, why are the time stamps not provided? Can we be sure that he not is issuing tickets for his or the company’s benefit?
I understand the *** is a high traffic area and it is monitored to deter customers from leaving the property to shop elsewhere. In our case, we had an elaborate 4-person BBQ in *** Restaurant the whole time and did not leave the property. The restaurant can vouch for that. $80 for a parking ticket is highway *** particularly, from being a customer of the onsite businesses.
Diamond Parking, this is a disservice to the restaurants and businesses in this location. I will forever refrain from going to *** Restaurant (or other onsite businesses) since I cannot be a customer there without constantly worrying about the parking.

This letter is to complain about a parking ticket I received from Diamond Parking Ltd on Sep/15/2019 (Reference ***). The next day, I contacted Diamond Parking to appeal. I was instructed over the phone that appeals must be made via the portal on the company website. The process involves sharing personal information in order to create a User Profile. With hesitation, I created my profile and sent a description of the events along with photographic evidence of a purchase receipt from the owner of the parkade. The receipt supports that I was shopping appropriately, and within a reasonable time frame – as per posted guidelines. Further, I noted that I did not enter into any contractual agreement contract, ***
Notwithstanding, I received a letter from Diamond Parking dated Nov/5/2019 stating that my appeal was denied. I cannot agree with the accusations, therefore I expressly deny any liability for these charges. Also, I have additional supporting photographic evidence to share with Diamond Parking, but repeated attempts were denied.
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving my complaint. I would like to receive a stop from all collectors acting on behalf of Diamond Parking, and a written letter stating the dismissal of all charges related to this event. Thank you.

There was no box in the lot to pay the parking service and I saw on the news how this is a fraudulent company.

Wow! Im dissapointed that 1 is the lowest star rating wish there was a zero star option. Just as I've read in 58 other nasty reviews my situation is the same. I received a letter in the mail saying I owe $120.00. I ofcourse very surprised called them on their customer service line. They claimed the ticket was over a month ago when I never actually received any ticket st all. Rep was incredibly rude so I asked to speak to a manager. That lady they put me through went by the nsme of carlene. She was very unprofessional and even more rude then the rep. After laughing at me and talking over me and basically telling me theres nothing they can do even if a ticket was never actually put on my car I lost it and asked to speak to her manager which I was then left with a voicemail. These people are *** and cery unprofessional and extremely rude. I will not be paying for this make believe ticket!

My 1st question is how could my car me parked in the lot at 1:30 when I was working at 1:30 in vancouver and my car was parked at work. I was not even off work till 2pm where I went home to grab my gym bag. Officer #*** should have all their prior tickets investigated because I'm sure they do this tactic on a regular basis. be ashamed of yourself *** you are the lowest of lows and I hope karma catches up with you.

Thinking it was easy to show the proof, I waited for my appeal to go through. It didn't.

My family and I were in San Diego visiting from Southern Ca. during the Labor Day weekend. It was around 11:15 am when we We had reservations for lunch Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019 at 12:30 pm for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Upon arrival we saw the “Diamond Parking”’ sign along with the machine at which to pay.
I left my fiancé and daughter in the cool AC car while I paid since it was very hot out. I followed instructions as prompted on the machine. Once I had selected 2 hours, I paid with my debit and received an ticket reading 1 hr of paid parking time.
I put my card BACK in and received a new ticket. Once I paid- it printed me a copy ready 3 hrs paid....not what I wanted since it was $10 per hour and as a young couple with a child- $10 is $10!
I decided to ask the “attendant roaming the lot” for some assistance.
When I explained my dilemma he seemed hopeless- “oh ya- if you add time once you’ve paid- it will take away your original time!” I was dumbfounded. I asked why this was so- he said “it’s just the way it works.”

In the mean time I checked my online Debit card and noticed Diamond Parking had taken $40 out for my originally $20 request! Ludicrous!

At this point I was heated and attendant decided he would get a second opinion from his colleague.
We headed over to a parked car in the lot... I guess this person would have some answers.

When he consulted his female coworker who was on a break in her nearby vehicle she completely refused to talk to me at all and told the male attendant “oh they won’t refund her money! She has to call that number”. (I never saw a number anywhere to call).
Needless to say we left- we ditched out on our reservation and went home since the rest of our day was ruined. Boo for such a bad vibe. Not the way we are usually treated in SD.

Horrible experience and what a miserable person to represent your company.

Being in customer service my ENTIRE life, I am absolutely disheartened to see the way this company is basically stealing from people. They are banking on the fact that people are out of their element and will mistake. Reading these comments is see the injustice and bizarre rules this company claims. In a busy location that is already tight on parking- this company is punishing good people who are paying top dollar around THRIR town. Having to pay almost $40 to have a piece of mind my car is “safe?” Wow! I am pretty confident the city of Pacific Beach is NOT proud of the way Diamond Parking is treating the visitors of their fine city.

Received a Ticket in Chappelle Edmonton ***
There are 2 main entrances to the complex and the one from the south does not have ANY signage to inform visitors that these "***" at DIAMOND PARKING would be ticketing my vehicle for a 2-hour stay, in the clearly marked VISITOR PARKING stall. I appealed my ticket by registering on their website, as they "claim" you can appeal your citations, only to have it denied with the following:
The Payment Notice was issued in accordance with the posted parking rules at this facility {WHICH ARE COMPLETELY UNKNOWN TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT A RESIDENT}.
"Please be advised that all visitors are required to sign in through the online registration system and all tenants are informed of this requirement." {WHY IS THIS STATEMENT NOT JUST POSTED IN VISITOR PARKING?... OH RIGHT BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T MAKE ANY MONEY...} Therefore, we are not in a position to cancel this Notice per the direction of the location managers.
I would like to have a representative review their compound and see that this ticket was unjust and to have it quashed, however, I am informed that the decision has been made and payment is due

Hi ***, I am unable to review the specifics of your review without the reference number. However, it should be noted that the residential complexes utilizing the online registration system have the direction provided to all residents and owners - they are supposed to the register their guests per the property managements direction. Thank you

I've got a ticket on June 4th 2019 at Location 4275-4600 No. 3 Road in Richmond. I parked my car for 10 minutes, the sign was damaged and I only could see "___ing Zone" so I thought it was correct, but on my way out I had a parking ticket. I then asked to the store and they told me it was a Loading Zone parking.
I took pictures and went online to www.diamonparking.ca and their website forces you to open a profile and log in for making a claim. I don't think they can force you to open a profile! I decided to send an email, I found the information of the Appeal's Supervisor and the Manager of Diamond Parking LTD and I sent them an email on June 6th 2019. This is their answer:
"Thank you for your email. Please be advised that as stated on the back of your notice, all parking notice appeals must be made through our Customer Portal on our website. "
This is ridiculous!! Nobody can force me to open a profile in a website!! I just want to appeal the ticket I dot and prove them they are wrong, they need to repair the confusing sign before they can fine someone for not respecting the sign. Right?
I have been overseas since July until last week that I came back home and I have received 2 notices for payment $120, they say they are sending the file to a collections agency.
I called Customer Service yesterday August 27th, and nobody can help me if I don't go through their website and log in. Outrageous!! I don't deserve this ticket and I don't want to open an account in to their website!
What do you recommend me to do? I have pictures of my vehicle and the confusing sign.
Please help!!
Thank you for reading.

Hi ***, the information being provided is in order to send you the correspondence for appeal based communication via email. The information being provided is irrelevant in this situation, as your *** information is already on file if the notice was issued on June 4th. The portal account allows for the appeals process to complete with all communications being applied to the appropriate record, I am, unable to respond to the specifics of your case, as no reference number was provided. Thank you
