Paid using pay-by-phone last night, and paid $10, only to return from watching a basketball game to find a parking ticket for $40. I called them and they had no record of my payment - their systems must not update as fast as the payments come in. I've emailed them a screen shot of my credit card showing the payment. It looks like they habitually just ticket everyone whether they've paid or not, and then try to scam higher ticket prices out of them later, and threaten a bad credit rating. They should refund the original payments and apologize. I shouldn't have to go through this.

Diamond Parking Services Response • Aug 09, 2019

Dear ***,
We apologize for the inconvenience. We have voided the violation number *** with the plate number ***. Please see below for confirmation of the void.
*** Aug 02, 2019 20:14 Void
Unfortunately, the payment you made was for plate number ***. Our staff member checked payment for the ***, there was no payment associated with this plate, so a violation was issued.
We will look forward to you being a future customer of Diamond Parking and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

My *** wife and I were looking for a place to eat at in the complex in Alexandra road, we walked around the area first as it is our first time in Richmond, we ended up not eating there but when we got back we got a ticket on our windshield and they were asking for a receipt from the complex so they can waive the violation. The entrance to the complex had no noticeable sign that it was a private parking lot. The only noticeable sign was a free 2 hour max sign for patrons of the complex. The appeal process was fairly one sided and doesn't take into consideration visitors from other places. I would avoid any business with Diamond Parking maintaining their parking lots like a plague from now on.

What a bunch of c r o o k s. These lot attendants don't even give you the allotted 30 minutes (For a 30 minute stall) before they give you a ticket. And good luck disputing it. They'll respond with a cyclical email chain of nonsense not even proving they actually gave a ticket after 30 minutes.
28 minutes? Close enough, give them a ticket!
C r o o k s and swashbucklers...

I park on occasion at the Bainbridge Island ferry parking lot. I used CallToPark on my phone. On the 13th of April I parked my Volvo (***) and bought a full day ticket through the app. On returning I found a parking violation notice. I printed the receipt for the ticket and sent it in, proving I had paid. Now a month later I have received a notice for $70. I called and was told "yes, we received your receipt, but it hasn't been processed and we don't know why". The man I spoke to (Robert Richard) said he would file an appeal and would hear in a few days. Now listen. This is a complete waste of my time and yours. I need this taken care of now. The fact that you cannot handle such a simple request over the phone is bizarre.

I have received calls from a collection agency that I owe them money only to find that Diamond Parking has *** given me a ticket. I called them and they said you parked in the parking spot for*** and was seen going out of the parking. I remember that*** elevator from parking was not working for a few weeks and customers had to go out from the front escalator. I found the receipt of my purchase from*** for that day and called back to send proof. I spoke to someone called "Sherry". She was the rudest person I have ever seen! She said "Sorry you have to pay this amount. There is no complaint or appeal for you. You have no choice but to pay or your credit will be affected." *** For a second you think this is not Canada we live in! Having anybody ask for money or better call it ransom.

On March 4th 2019 I was making a commercial delivery of Golf Shoes to the *** store at the *** in Delta. Just as I was about to back into a stall directly in front of the *** store, my *** stalled. I tried several times to start it but it seemed that it was not getting gas (even though I had 3/4s of a tank.) While this was happening several cars in front of me and behind me were starting to honk as I was in there way in a very narrow retail parking lot. My only option was to put the truck in neutral and try to coast out of the way of the other vehicles wanting to get by. As I was coasting down the slight grade, my power brakes were barely working. I managed to coast down the hill and turned into the first and only spot that would not impede traffic. I then tried to start the truck numerous times over the next half hour. It was not going to start. I then made three calls. One to ***, one to our office, then one to *** for a tow. This took about a half an hour. During this half hour the ticket person from Diamond was watching. He did not come over to ask if he could help. He just sat there*** Again, this was the only spot that I could coast to without impeding traffic. With a tow truck on the way, I got out of the truck and walked up to the *** store to tell them what had happened and that I would get another truck and come back to make the delivery. This took about 5 minutes. By the time I got back, a ticket was on my truck window. Diamond Parking should not be ticking vehicle in distress that was waiting to be towed. It is like boating, if you come across a Boat in distress you must help, it is against the law to just leave them there. The ticking person should have offered assistance instead of sitting there *** I have appealed twice and denied twice. I have pictures proving that this was the only safe place to stop and was not parked in one of their clients stalls. I also have proof of the Tow truck, the rental truck and a $250.00 fuel pump. I plan to ask the clients of this Company at the retail site if they condone this type of behavior from the people they hired to watch their parking lot. What did they expect me to do? Magically beam the truck up to the Enterprise? *** 1 star out of 5 is too much

Customer Response • Mar 16, 2019

Dear Revdex.com. I have *** photos to show just how narrow the complex is in front of the *** store in *** The photo will also show that the only option not to impede other users of both complexes was to coast down to where the truck came to rest. Common sense would say, should I stay where the truck would not start and impede 50+ cars over a 2 hour period or, move it to a location where I am not in the way of anyone while I make the calls for a tow truck, then wait until it arrives, two hours later. As for the Fire lane, there was room to get around me if an Emergency occurred. I ask you to ask Diamond Parking for a letter from the owner confirming that it is his policy to ticket a Vehicle in distress like this. To ticket a person who is waiting for a tow truck? *** If the owner, as Diamond Delivery suggests, would still want them to ticket me in this situation, then you tell me, would you like to do business with them?

I have received a ticket REF# XXXXXXXX violating parking at the private parking lot.
It is a library beside the *** mall. I meet my friend at the *** mall and went back to the library to borrow a book and went back to my car.
Ticket reason: I didn't go to the library directly.
I called Diamond Parking and rep said the *** mall hired them to watch the vehicle and driver at the site. I have never seen anyone there with the company logo.
The parking lot is located at the upper level. If someone needs to see me go to the *** mall, he/she need to follow me downstairs or keep their eyes on me for a few minutes.

1. This would be the arguable issue with public privacy. They may use the camera to watch people around that area because I have not seen anyone there. I am not sure what RCMP and City manager will say about this. ***
2. It is not about to hide and seek. You need to visually show that you are parking enforcement. A call center rep raised her voice and said they don't need to show and even their car doesn't show parking enforcement company. They need to be sure about this with RCMP and City manager.

3. Back of the parking ticket, I need to appeal on their website in writing. That is their policy but they don't have any pages to write an appeal. What?

Received a ticket yesterday saying that I was parked at an unauthorized parking spot (REF#XXXXXXXX). I needed to walk in to the store to grab the parking pass, since there was a line I waited for a good 15-20 minutes before I was able to put the pass on my vehicle, but by the time I got out there was already a ticket on my car. I called to get some information on if the parking pass will help, the lady not only started screaming that the car was in front of a permit zone and that there is a reserve sign on it. I just want to say of course there is a reserve sign because I need a parking pass. This company is horrible, staff is not trained, treats people like they're is, and staff are extremely rude. The CSR that I spoke with at 11:34am 30-Jan-2019 not only was screaming, after I asked for her name she hung up on me. I will be filing a complaint for the service that I received and I sure hope that this review will help improving the way Diamond Parking LTD trains their staff.

Received a past due notice a month after the alleged violation. Tried to talk to agents on the phone and on email to work out a settlement. First they decided to change the fee to the original amount but I told them I never knew the original amount since I was not given the ticket. Based on that comment, agent decided that I would not pay for it and change the fee back plus late fee. ***. One of the respond below said that they leave ticket on the windshield but there's none on mine or in the picture that they said it was evidence.

I believe that they scam people. I am not the first person in my neighborhood to say the same thing and none of us will shop at that QFC because of it. There are so many stores around our area it is no problem for us to not shop at a location that is not customer friendly.
Hi, I shop at the QFC on 42nd in West Seattle all the time. I was there yesterday (Saturday) late in the afternoon to pick up some things, I was only there about 30 - 40 minutes. When I went up to my car to unload my cart I had a parking ticket for overtime,.
WHY??
I park there a lot when I am picking up big stuff, I always try to park in the same place. I was there on Friday afternoon as well. I live close so sometimes I walk. I don't mind telling you that I am tempted to never go to QFC again if I can not park without this type of hassle.

Diamond Parking Services Response • Jan 10, 2019

Dear Ms.,
Thank you for the opportunity to provide a response to your review regarding a recent experience while parking at a QFC parking garage that Diamond Parking manages on behalf of the property manager. The parking garage is used by multiple businesses and the permitted time limit is a maximum of 2 hours while shopping at the location. This time frame was established so that all customers have an opportunity to find parking while visiting this QFC center. We have partnered with the property manager to monitor the location and enforce the parking rules that have been established.
As a one-time courtesy, Diamond Parking will void this parking notice for you. Because the Diamond Parking employee who wrote the parking notice indicated that your vehicle was first seen at 1:37pm, and the parking notice was written at 3:56 pm, we will also take this opportunity to review procedures with the employee who was working the day you received your ticket to ensure that the equipment being used and time stamps are accurate. If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Ticketed me without proper signage.

Ticketed for shopping and eating in their Ali Sunset Plaza in Kona, Hawaii. Contacted them through email and told them our circumstance and they denied our appeal probably because the rental car had a ticket there before. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Will never shop or eat with that plaza again.

Diamond Parking Services Response • Dec 31, 2018

Aloha,
Thank you for contacting us regarding your parking notice. In order to further assist the customer we will need the parking notice reference number for the notice that was received.
This lot, allows for 2 hour parking per 24 hour period with no in and out privileges; as parking at this location is limited. The terms and conditions are posted within the lot and within the shopping/business area of Ali’i Sunset Plaza.
If a vehicle is parked in the lot longer than 2 hours, or more than once within a 24 hour period , this would substantiate the overtime parking notice received. On days where a parking attendant is present, if the attendant notified the parker that the parking was for Ali’I Sunset Plaza and the parker choose to park and walk to Coconut Grove, a notice would’ve been issued. The lot in question is not for Coconut Grove.
A confirmation of proof of purchase from any of the Ali’I Sunset Plaza shops is an exception and will void the notice. (Receipt showing merchant, or bank statement showing purchase from merchant).
Nonetheless we will void the notice once we are provided with the notice reference number.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Mahalo Nui Loa,
Jasmine-Victoria A. C, (R)S, CPP

We already tried with an email to dispute the ticket in a very nice email. We ate at the *** in the Plaza and paid with cash so unfortunately I have no proof because we didn’t save the receipt. The car is a rental so it already had a ticket from the previous renters so we got denied I am assuming. I already paid the ticket also, but don’t plan on ever coming back to this shopping center due to the way we were treated. The parking lot was 3/4 empty when we were there. I understand if it was full, but to have someone ticket you in this way is a racket.

Customer Response • Dec 31, 2018

Our reference number was SSN. Again we already paid the ticket as we are on vacation and don’t have the time to deal with jumping through hoops. We ate at the *** in the plaza, paid cash and didn’t save the receipt because we didn’t know we had a ticket. We shopped several of the stores in that center, but did not buy that day due to just getting into town. If you care to credit my card I paid with I will gladly take off the reviews I left today of the *** and *** in *** and ***. Thank you for any assistance.

I received a fraudulent ticket placed on my car while it was parked in my driveway on a private residence, 2 - 3 days after the supposed violation. The location for the "parking violation" is at a bank I've never been to, at a time that I was at home. The license plate in the photo (on the ticket) is completely unreadable, and not my car. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
Customer states that their vehicle was not at the location where the notice was received.
We have researched the notice fee in question, and have two pictures (attached) of the vehicle parked at the location in question. It also appears that the parker already paid a reduced notice fee through our Parking Services department.
Given the fact that the parker made a payment on the notice on December 24th, and that we have pictures of the vehicle in our paid parking lot, we believe this situation to be resolved.
There is nothing further the customer need do. We thank you for bringing the issues to our attention and hope to have the chance to service your parking needs in the future.

I received the Past Due Notice from Diamond Parking Ltd unexpectedly two days ago, I feel very uncomfortable because of the following reasons: 1. I have never received the ticket before, but the letter says I should pay late fee. 2. I requested the photo for the ticket firmly put on my car, but I have not received it so far3. Because of my above concerns, I called the office in Surrey BC, tried to explain my concerns, but I was treated very rudely, the lady just hang off the phone without waiting for me to complete my questions. I have been kept a very high credit score (850+), have never been treated like this by any other customer services, especially under an unfair situation. If the parking company can issue the ticket, at lease you should make the vehicle owner to be able to receive the ticket; otherwise, how can customers realize they violate the policy and pay it on time?***! This kind of behaviour can ruin the reputation of a big parking company!

Customer Response • Dec 03, 2018

The reference number is #***. I received the photos today, I can see my husband was beside of the car when he was back to the car, but there was not any more ticket put on the car at that time!

Customer Response • Dec 04, 2018

The problem is we didn't see the ticket when we were back to the car. The one photo with the ticket possibly was taken before we went back, but the main issue is the another photo which has my husband who was walking back to the car does not have any ticket attached on the car. No matter we violate the policy or not, if we don't receive the ticket, how can we pay the ticket on time without penalty? This is very unfair for us to pay the pass due fee!

I recently received a parking ticket (reference #***) for parking at a lot *** I appealed the notice due to inadequate signage in the area I had parked. While I received a prompt response from Diamond Parking, their defence includes a photo from *** view dated 2012! The area/signage doesn't even look like that now. Seems like not the best business practices from this company.

Customer Response • Oct 22, 2018

No, thanks, I'm aware of what the lot looks like today. Just taken aback by the outdated photo used to demonstrate adequate signage. Thanks to the Revdex.com for providing this forum for people to share their experiences. I, for one, will now be avoiding all lots run by Diamond Parking Ltd..

On 9/16/18 I paid for 7 days parking at Anacortes ferry landing, thru morning of 9/24/18. I have the receipt, with correct stall number noted. On 9/21 a payment notice was left on my windshield, alleging no prepayment, and demanding a $30 fee. I don’t imagine outright fraud, of course, just incompetence of the individuals involved and perhaps poor information systems. The state should not tolerate this in its contractors.

I think that the parking lot on Smith Street between Hotel Street and King Street (Lot H326) needs a better sign regarding the hours you need to pay to park. I parked in the lot on Monday, September 17th around 7:30 pm in stall 2. There is a sign that says "Aloha, Public Parking Weekdays after 5 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday". The large sign does not say "PAID Public Parking after 5 pm". I would have paid for parking if I had realized that it was still a paid lot after 5 pm. There were 3 adults in my car who looked at the large sign, and all of us thought it was ok to park there after 5 pm, which shows that the sign is misleading. After getting a $40 parking ticket, I realized that the first sign was confusing and I should have read the second sign with the small writing about the hours you need to pay. I think the small sign should be replaced with one that includes the words "Paid public parking" so that everyone knows to read the second sign with the rates.

Diamond Parking makes parking so easy, especially in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho!

I got a parking ticket reference number *** at the*** in North Vancouver where I pay MONTHLY parking. I have my licence plate registered and a rearview mirror tag and apparently that wasn't noticed by officer 684. I refuse to pay a parking ticket that cost half what I paid for the MONTHLY service. Seems very fradulent. I e-mailed the company twice with no response from anybody.

I parked in the parking lot in front of ***/liquor store on July 26th, 2018 at 9:37 am. I had parked there walked out with my husband to meet a relative, we all returned in the person's care and went into *** to look for an item (brewers yeast) which we didn't find. on getting back to my car @ 10:30am, there was a ticket of $52.50 saying WALK OFF, NOT CONDUCTING BUSINESS ON PROPERTY. I called customer service to explain what exactly happened but the lady insisted that I produce a receipt of purchase from *** within the time frame or I pay the fine, despite explaining to her that I didn't find what I went to buy and so I has no receipt to show. I paid the fine but would like this case reviewed if possible and a partial or total refund as I feel I was unfairly fined. Thank you

hi. After about 4 weeks of attempting to reach Carleen, she eventually called me back on August 31st at 9:16am. only to say and I quote, "no amount of calls and emails will make me refund you". This is really unfair. if I had not paid the ticket before lodging my complain, I know it would be different
